Chapter 32 The Visitor of Azkaban
2004, February 2.Malfoy Manor.
Hermione walked through the wrought iron gates of Malfoy Manor alone, and walked up the wide steps led by the white peacock. This time, Narcissa Malfoy stood waiting for her outside the hall with a frosty face.
"Mrs. Malfoy."
"Miss Granger."
Both Hermione and her tacitly let go of the friendly faces they had when Malfoy was there last time. Narcissa Malfoy didn't even show a smile, and signaled Hermione to follow her in with her eyes.
In the living room, the fire was burning vigorously, and Hermione was half-sitting on the sofa, while Narcissa Malfoy stroked the hem of her skirt and sat down gracefully on the small sofa diagonally opposite.
She saw Hermione staring at the copy of the Daily Prophet spread out on the table, said. "After what happened last night I think it's necessary to pay attention to today's papers, so the Ministry of Magic caught Draco after it was published in today's Daily Prophet."
"Earlier today, noon, yes," said Hermione.A house elf carrying a dinner plate walked into the living room, wearing a dark gray cloth bag and a dark green apron, walked over barefoot, took out a golden teacup from the dinner plate, and put it on the On the marble coffee table next to Hermione, she bowed.
Narcissa Malfoy took another cup of tea directly from the dinner plate, held it up to her chest, and curled her lips together, but didn't smile. "I can assume Draco didn't tell you what happened yesterday."
"Yes, I'd appreciate you telling me the whole truth," said Hermione.
"You see, what's interesting is that Draco has always admired his father since he was a child. He always imitated Lucius. They are so similar. When Lucius was taken away from my house for the first time, if there was no Draco, I probably won't get through it. It doesn't make it any easier for him to leave a second time," Narcissa said, "so when Draco asked last night if he could stay here, I said no .”
Hermione couldn't help asking, "What happened?"
"I believe you know Theodore Not?" Narcissa asked, lowering her head.
Hermione replied, "He's a Slytherin student, the same level as us."
"Little Nott seems to be involved in some trouble. Last night he appeared outside the door in a state of embarrassment. In view of our family's previous position, I think he should be kept out of the door, but Little Nott asked me, if Germany With Draco in this situation, I wouldn't want him to be turned away. So I brought him in and told him I'd get Draco back and see what we can do." Narcissa said, looking Seeing Hermione clutching the sofa's hand tightly, she suddenly smiled. "Draco was brought back by the house-elf, and he said to Nott that he would give him a Portkey to leave England, and he went to Knockturn Alley himself, bought one, and gave it to Nott. Then Nott took the Portkey to the hotel Draco had registered for him. Draco wrote to Wayne at the Ministry of Magic, I remember, to catch him before the time the Portkey opened."
Hermione felt her heart sink, and she couldn't tell if she was happy or disappointed that Malfoy hadn't helped his former Slytherin classmates.
Narcissa also noticed this, and she continued to speak with that indescribable smile. "Draco asked me to stay with him for the night, but I refused, saying you wouldn't be happy if you found out what he was doing. My son knows you well, Miss Granger."
Hermione didn't speak.
Narcissa finally took a sip of tea, "I didn't pay attention to you until recently, Miss Granger, I read some stories about you and Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley. Desperate. Draco knew that, and I wouldn't even suspect that he might be attracted to you just like that."
"I think he knows more about me," Hermione said to Narcissa Malfoy. "If he thought I would praise him for ruining his peaceful life for a murderer on the run, I'd be disappointed in him. Thank you, Mrs. Malfoy, and if what you say is true, I'm sure Draco won't be in custody for long of."
"My son loves you, Miss Granger." Narcissa stood up.
"I know." Hermione also stood up, "Please stay still, I'm leaving first."

Malfoy's cell in Azkaban, February 2004, 2.
"Father?" Malfoy hadn't expected that the first visitor he'd see after being cast into a regular cell in Azkaban would be his father, who had been sentenced to life service.
He was wearing a clean gray prison uniform, and his light blond hair was neatly draped behind his head.
"Draco, I didn't expect to meet you in this situation." Lucius Malfoy raised his chin slightly, and squeezed a miserly smile at him.
"Me too, Father." Malfoy saw the guard whisper something to Lucius, and then glanced over him, locking him and Lucius in the small, boxy cell.
The last time Malfoy had visited his father was before Christmas, and he had sniffed at her relationship with Hermione and ordered him, what Lucius' exact words were - "don't come to me with the smell of a Mudblood."
In the daytime cell there is only a small desk and a chair, which will become a small single bed after dinner, and there seems to be nowhere for Malfoy to sit and have a decent conversation with his father right now. During the conversation, he had no choice but to stand there, trying his best to face Lucius with a perfect posture.
"I didn't know you had the privilege of visiting other prisoners in Azkaban," Malfoy said.
Lucius pulled out the chair indifferently, sat down, and said with a sideways glance at his son. "There is no place that is untouchable. As you can see, some money and means can give me relative freedom in Azkaban. The Ministry of Magic is considering using the prisoner self-government system. Maybe I will find it here A job, even a decent office."
"Wow, that's good." Malfoy felt ironic in his own words.
"I ask you to pay attention to your tone, young man." Lucius said dissatisfied as expected.
Malfoy stared at his father, and said as he did when he first stepped into this cell, curling his lips. "Of course, father."
"I've heard about the King's Cross incident, and I have to say, I'm worried if you're going to get into this unnecessary trouble. I didn't see you on the wanted list at first, and I sighed that you finally acted differently. Gotta be smart. But I'm disappointed that you were thrown here last night, helping a wanted Death Eater's son escape the Aurors? Going to Knockturn Alley to trade yourself? I didn't teach you so badly, De Laco." Lucius talked about the business, "Why did you have such a result, did your contact with Gryffindor girls soften your heart?"
"No, Father." Malfoy was stabbed by Lucius' mention of Hermione, he straightened up and raised his eyebrows out of habit.
Lucius said. "Then I expect you to give me a reasonable explanation."
"Nott is my friend, and I have to help him," Malfoy said, "but I sent the letter to the Aurors, and I'm sure they'll clear me up when they prove it."
"Then you shouldn't be locked up here. Temporary prisoners should be held in the temporary detention facility of the Ministry of Magic." Lucius frowned.
"I think there's something wrong with it that I don't know about." Malfoy finally showed his worry in front of Lucius. He was taken away from the apartment at noon yesterday, except for the two Aurors who brought him back to the Auror office. After just ten minutes of questioning, he was thrown into Azkaban. Their reason was that there was no extra space in the Ministry of Magic's temporary detention facility.
Lucius knocked on the table, "I'll check it out for you."

2004, February 2, 18:8AM, Azkaban, Malfoy's cell.
Malfoy didn't wait for his breakfast to appear on the table that had just appeared 5 minutes ago, he sat there for 5 minutes, deciding to think about his situation again.
But not long after this thought, the cell door opened again.
Hermione is holding a pair of light gray trousers and a dark gray sweater in her left hand, a dark coat in her right hand, and a pair of shoes in her hand. She is holding her hair, standing behind the stone door of the cell and showing her With a smile, the cell instantly warmed up.
"They wouldn't let me bring in the beaded pouch, so I had to…" Hermione squeezed in sideways through the door, shoving the clothes into Malfoy's arms. "You don't mind holding them first. Well, I'll wait outside the door for you to change."
Malfoy called to Hermione who had turned around, "Hermione."
She turned around, "Huh?"
"What's going on here?" Malfoy raised the clothes in his hand and asked.
"You get dressed, and then we can go home." Hermione smiled, and then left a chic back.
Malfoy had no choice but to speak to the closed stone door again. "All right."
He first put the white sneakers on the ground, then folded the black coat on the chair, and finally hung the sweater and gray pants on the back of the chair.
He was doing this slowly, full of doubts in his heart.
When he folded his prison uniform and left it in the place where breakfast should have been, the cell door opened again.
Hermione stood outside the door with her hands folded.
Before Malfoy took her hand, he prayed in his heart that Merlin would pray that he would never be thrown into Azkaban again, and that Hermione would be the last visitor to his prison life.
