Journey to the West: the reincarnation of the white fox

Chapter 21 The True Body of the White Fox

Since I was a child, I have only kowtowed to my dead grandparents during the Ching Ming Festival, how could I kowtow to this cloud in front of me?

But Wukong next to him secretly cast a spell, which made me bend my knees involuntarily, and knelt there firmly.

"Chu Ruoling—" the colorful clouds still spoke in an old voice, "The origin of the fox fairy with the power of reincarnation has merged with you. Now you are a real nine-tailed white fox!"

"Then my people..."

"Disappeared, already left you." The old voice said: "From now on, the body and soul of a person have nothing to do with you."

I was about to continue speaking, but Wukong pulled off the skirt of my shirt and reminded me not to speak.

"Come, come," said the old voice, "Chu Ruoling, follow me to the secret room of the Fox Clan."

Then I felt some unknown energy fluctuations began to gather around me.

Wukong frowned slightly, and did not move, just watched quietly.

There was a crisp sound, followed by darkness.

I feel that something is engulfing me and moving, is it the group of colorful clouds?

According to Wukong's reminder, I didn't speak again, and let this thing take me to that unknown place.

When the light was shining into my eyes, a tower appeared in front of me.

The tower is seven stories high, thin at the top and thick at the bottom, surrounded by green grass, and there is a stone road leading to the door.

"You have to walk the rest of the way by yourself." The old voice said: "The tower is full of the exquisite magic of my fox clan. Which kind of magic you are destined for depends on your luck."

I stood in front of the door, flicked my hand on the door, and the door opened by itself.A stone staircase appeared in front of my eyes, winding around a huge stone pillar in the center of the tower.

I walked into the tower, and the door closed silently behind me.There are no windows in the tower, and the light becomes very dim, only a few small lamps on the wall shine for illumination.

"But I can't see any books!" I said to myself. While looking at the empty surroundings, he slowly walked up, until he reached the seventh floor, the highest, and did not see any books.

Apart from tables, chairs and beds on the seventh floor, there is only one small window.

I went to the window and looked out, and found that there was a barren space outside. The land, mountains, rivers, and everything looked extremely desolate. Looking around, it seemed that life was extinct, and there was a dead silence everywhere. Even the sky seemed dull and gray, with countless air currents floating and wandering in the void, and there was a low growl that didn't sound like a human voice.

The strange thing is that although the sky is dim, images of the sun, moon, and stars can be vaguely seen. These things that should not appear at the same time appear in the sky at the same time as if they should be taken for granted.

I stared at the moon, and suddenly felt a strange feeling, as if the moon was producing a kind of suction towards me.And there was something in the dark that was wandering aimlessly, but suddenly found something, flew towards me, and jumped into the body.

At the end of my nose, I suddenly smelled a vague fragrance. It smells refreshing, but it is not like the aromas of sandalwood and rue sold in the market.

But there was no such fragrance in this room before!
