Chapter 25 The Crime Scene

Katerina leaned on the sofa, nodded and said in relief, "You are right. However, they will not give up this place easily."

Gloria said, "You mean, there are more powerful Russians or Americans behind Igor?"

"I think so. Igor and his people never talk about these things in front of us girls."

"Well, I see. Well, Katerina, are you going to accuse me of depriving you of your only source of income?"

"No, Gloria. Sometimes I'm really tired, and some clients... are fucking perverts!" Katerina said here, feeling a little depressed, picking up a pack of cigarettes on the coffee table, Pulled out one to light a fire.

"I understand how you feel, although I don't know girls in this industry. Don't worry, now you can start your life again." Gloria tried to control the emotional smog as she spoke. disgust.

"Sorry, if you don't like it, I don't have to smoke it."

"It's ok."

"I also want to have the lifestyle I like, but... I'm worried they'll catch me again."

"Well, I understand. Even if they want to avenge Igor, they will only come to me, right?"

Katerina looked at her in surprise, "What do you want to do?"

Gloria shrugged. "Make a plan, get some friends to help, and that's it."

About 17 minutes earlier, Rafael Magnussen, director of the NCIS office in Miami, was speeding toward the restaurant when the two quietly left the restaurant on their motorcycle.

When he drove to the door of the Russian restaurant on 125th Street in North Miami, he saw a black GMC full-size SUV coming from the rear in the rearview mirror.A figure in a white shirt, dark tie, and suit opened the door and got out of the car.

Glenn Schofield, a senior federal agent with the FBI's Miami branch, smiled when he saw Rafael who had just got out of the car and said, "Hey, Rafael, how are you?"

"Hmm. Glenn, the FBI also traced the NEP1 signal?" Rafael said as he walked towards the restaurant.

"Of course." Glenn nodded and walked aside.

"However, the signal source of NEP1 is not here."

"I know. However, judging from the surveillance system of the Miami Police Department, NEP1 was brought here by two Russians!?"

When Raphael pushed open the glass door of the restaurant, he asked, "Russians? How did they get information about NEP1?"

Glenn glanced at him noncommittally, "At present, there is no evidence that the Russians knew about this."

"Hmm. So, why didn't you follow two of my agents to find NEP1?"

"Oh, I think we should give young detectives more opportunities to practice. Of course, I am very interested in learning about the purpose of NEP1's stay in this restaurant."

"Well, maybe she's hungry."

"Gentlemen, have you reserved a seat?" The young waiter at the front desk of the restaurant asked.

"No. Where's your boss?" Glenn said.

"Uh, what do you want from him?"

"Of course, this is my ID."

When the waiter saw the ID in Glenn's hand, he immediately understood that the white man in a suit in front of him belonged to the FBI.And another middle-aged man wearing a short-sleeved shirt and jeans on a tropical beach, but he couldn't tell what his occupation was.

"Okay, I can lead you up." The waiter said.

"No, just tell me where he is," Glenn said.

At this moment, the two of them vaguely heard a sound of overturned objects and chaotic and urgent footsteps coming from the direction of the second floor.Raphael glanced at Glenn and whispered, "Damn it, go!"

Raphael pulled out the pistol from his waist and ran upstairs, and Glenn also drew out his pistol and followed closely behind. When the two appeared on the passage outside the office on the second floor, they saw two panicked and somewhat incoherent waiters.

"NCIS!" Raphael raised his gun and yelled loudly while aiming at the waiter.

"FBI! Get out of here, now!" Glenn shouted, standing aside.

The two waiters ran downstairs in a blink of an eye. Rafael walked quietly to the right side of the office door with guns in both hands, and sniffed vigorously with his nose. Then he glanced at Glenn who was standing opposite, and whispered, "It smells very bloody!"

"Understood! Come together!?" Glenn asked in a low voice.

"Yeah." Raphael nodded, and walked a step or two away from the gate with Glenn.

"Bang..." With a harsh impact, the door of Igor's office was kicked open by two male feet almost at the same time.

"FBI!" "NCIS!" Glenn and Rafael yelled almost at the same time when they broke into the office with their guns in hand.

Three seconds later, Glenn frowned and yelled, "Damn, this is a fucking killing field!"

Raphael shook his head, looking at the scattered corpses on the ground, "Gang vendetta?"

The two held guns, stood in the left and right directions of the office and walked towards the deepest desk.Glenn said as he stretched his foot over the body on the ground, "Why? This is so weird!"

When Raphael walked to the desk, he looked at Igor, who had been dead for a long time, leaning back on the sofa, "It's really strange. Glenn, this is your case."

While putting away his pistol, Glenn looked at the two gunshot wounds on Igor's forehead and heart, "Maybe."
