After Wuji and Monkey King reunited, one couldn't recognize the elder as his apprentice, and the other didn't want to take the strange monk as his master, so the two tacitly skipped the topic of master and student, and began to study how to rescue Monkey King from the mountain.

Wuji naturally hopes that the Great Sage will get out of the sea of suffering as soon as possible, so at this time he doesn't care about maintaining the timid and long-winded personality. After hearing that as long as the gold lettering left by the Buddha on the top of the mountain was uncovered, the mountain would no longer be able to hold down the Monkey King, so he performed lightness kung fu and rushed up the mountain without saying a word.

But after reaching the top of the mountain, Wuji didn't directly tear up the pressing post.He barely suppressed his anxiety, first recited a few Buddha's name and stated his intention of coming, and then stretched out his hand to uncover the golden lettering of Tathagata.

——Sure enough, as Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva said, the chosen ones can save the Great Sage.

Wuji just lifted it lightly, and the post took advantage of the fragrant wind to leave the four square boulders on the top of the mountain, and was immediately taken away by the soldiers and generals who imprisoned the Great Sage.

When these imprisoned great saints left Liangjie Mountain to pay the decree to the Buddha of the Western Paradise, Wuji, who was secretly relieved, rolled his eyes and immediately decided to protect his precarious personality.

"God monkey, the golden post was taken away by the god who imprisoned you," Wuji went down the mountain faster, and he shouted loudly while performing light body exercises, "Buddha bless, in fact, I I'm a little scared, I have to go to a place far away to avoid it. You, if you come out, don't lose your temper with me, I'm innocent...I, I'll wait for you on the west road, You want to come to me, don't forget that I helped you to uncover that pressing post, Amitabha..."

Shouting, this Wuji rushed towards the west of Liangjie Mountain with a "swish" like stepping on the hot wheel of the third prince, and his back quickly turned into a small black spot.

Sun Wukong, who was about to remind Wuji to be careful: ...

With a strange and complicated mood, Monkey King overturned the mountain that had been pressing on him for 500 years, and regained his freedom, but...

He had imagined that if one day he was lucky enough to be released from the custody of the Buddha, what kind of mood would he be in? Is it joyful and relaxed? Is it relief?Or rekindle the fighting spirit? He imagined all kinds of things, but he never expected to be in such a weird mood today.Even... have begun to worry about the rise and fall of Buddhism.

When Sun Wukong found Wuji on the roadside, Wuji was reciting sutras to calm the shock. He did not let out a long sigh of relief until he confirmed that the freed monkey would not harm him, and took out a small light yellow bamboo embroidered bag. The handkerchief wiped his forehead.

Sun Wukong looked at Wuji for a while, with a lingering strange feeling in his heart, always feeling that he had overlooked something.Feeling vaguely irritated, he scratched the monkey hair on his body, let out a "pooh" impatiently, and said to himself:

"No matter what, my old grandson has already promised the Bodhisattva that if he wants to protect the Buddhist scriptures to go to the west, he must try not to break his promise. Of course, if the Buddhist scriptures are not willing to let me follow, that is a good thing, old grandson, I am happy to be at ease."

Thinking of this, Sun Dasheng deliberately grinned at Wuji and sneered three times, showing the ferocious expression on Lei Gong's face to his heart's content.

Wuji immediately said "Oops", covered his eyes with a handkerchief, and was trembling and frightened while babbling, saying something thanks to not accepting an apprentice, thinking back then...and now...so what.He scratched his head and scratched his head by talking about the great sage, wishing he could fly somersaults to Lingshan and ask the Buddha, is this their newly thought-out punishment for torturing monkeys?

"Let's go, since you uncovered the Buddha's post for me, Lao Sun will keep his promise and send you to Lingshan."

"Hey, that's the only way to go," Wuji shook his head regretfully and said, "I was in a hurry just now, and I accidentally left the horse on the mountain road, and now I can only support each other and walk with you. It's still early, let's hurry up."

In this way, Wuji and Monkey King set off on the road together, and after walking for half a day, they encountered a real stumbling block.

Looking at the colorful tiger in front of him, Monkey King just took out the golden cudgel when he felt a gust of wind blowing around him.Afterwards, he saw the Buddhist monk running away without looking back, leaving a very friendly sentence "Run away—" echoing in the ears of the great sage and the tiger.

By the time Sun Wukong cleaned up the tiger and skinned the tiger and found the person who learned the Buddhist scriptures, the guy had already had a rest in a manor house drinking tea and talking about Buddhism. At a glance, Duan was a saintly monk with a handsome appearance and an extraordinary and refined appearance. There was no trace of panic when he ran away from his delicate brows.

Seeing this, Sun Dasheng threw the tiger skin on the table, regardless of whether it scared the head of the household, he just stared at Wuji and asked:

"Monk who learned the scriptures, you are very skillful. Although you can't compare with Old Sun, you are more than enough to deal with wild beasts and the like. Why are you so useless? When you see some danger, you just run away, and even an eight-year-old child Not as good."

Hearing this, Wuji raised his eyebrows happily, thinking that the eight-year-old child that Uncle Dasheng was talking about was himself.Because when the two met, he was around eight years old.

"Amitabha, I beg your forgiveness. It's not that the poor monk deliberately left his companions behind and ran for his own life. It's that the poor monk has this shortcoming of being easily frightened from his womb. The first reaction is not to defuse the danger, but to run away desperately. This is a natural habit and cannot be easily changed.

"Besides, the poor monk doesn't really want to change. Great Sage, monks don't kill, so the poor monk doesn't want to use force easily. Alas, beating, killing and killing is very bad, and it is easy to affect innocent people. Therefore, every time When danger comes, the poor monk always runs away as soon as he can. Once he escapes successfully, he can save his own life and not hurt the other party's life, isn't it the best of both worlds?"

After listening to the "reasonable and well-founded" explanation of the scripture learner, Sun Wukong snorted a little annoyedly, and impatiently jumped on another chair and squatted halfway, and at the same time bared his teeth and said with a sneer:

"Could it be that the Bodhisattva chose you as a sutra learner because of your first-class escape skills? Is she expecting you to run all the way to the Great Leiyin Temple in the West Heaven? Oh, this trip is far away, and there are many demons and ghosts." , you are now a mortal body, even if you can escape from the mouth of fierce beasts and poisonous insects, can you still escape those ghosts who have cultivated for many years?"

Wuji smiled innocently: "Hey, I'm sure I can't hide or run away, so the Bodhisattva called the Great Sage to help me. At that time, if there are monsters attacking, it will take a lot of work. Great Sage, help me block it." One block, one block. That is... after you are finished, I will run forward desperately! When I run out of the mountain occupied by the monster, the Great Sage will not need to continue to entangle with the monsters, and just come to me directly through the clouds and fog , and then we will continue westward.”

Sun Wukong sneered: "It's a good idea, it really is a good idea. I'm afraid that when you encounter a nest of monsters, your method won't work."

Wuji immediately recited the Buddha's name devoutly, and said optimistically:

"Thank you, the Great Sage, for your concern. However, the poor monk believes that the Buddha will bless me. As long as the poor monk wholeheartedly seeks the scriptures, this journey to the west will naturally lead to good fortune and good luck."

After saying this, Wuji stopped chatting with Sun Wu, but began to read scriptures in a low voice. When chanting scriptures, this monk sat upright and lowered his eyes, his brows were compassionate and peaceful, and his breath was pure and ethereal, lofty and out of dust, like clouds hanging from the nine heavens, or snow lotuses in Tianchi Lake, which made people unable to help but feel admiration and respect.

Seeing this, Sun Dasheng was in a daze for a moment, and finally couldn't help twitching the corners of his mouth. He really couldn't connect the pussy monk who was running wildly during the day with the holy monk who looked like the reincarnation of the Buddha in front of him.If the Great Sage hadn't believed in his sharp eyes and cultivation skills, he would have thought that this monk had been dropped.

After one night, Wuji, who had successfully tricked the Great Sage Uncle, happily got up to wash, and then continued westward.Along the way, he chirped a lot and asked a lot of questions. At the same time, Monkey King, who was the only listener, quickly mastered the ability to put one ear in and one ear out.He lazily walked beside Wuji, no matter what the other party said or asked, he only picked out interesting answers, and the rest of the time, he pretended not to hear anything.

One day, the two were walking on a winding mountain road when they suddenly encountered a group of robbers blocking the road and robbing them.Sun Wukong was fierce in his heart, and before Wuji could react, he beat and killed all the gangsters who surrounded him to murder and steal goods.

In the blink of an eye, several bloody corpses lay in front of Wuji.

"Oh," Wuji exclaimed, and then said dissatisfiedly, "Great Sage, how can you kill people indiscriminately?"

"This is not a good person. If you kill him, you will kill him. You monk, don't talk too much."

Wuji shook his head.

He was not in a hurry to argue with Sun Wukong about right and wrong, but first stood in front of several corpses and read a roll of supernatural scriptures, then dug a hole to bury the robber himself, and finally said:

"My lord, on this westbound journey, we can no longer take people's lives at will. The Bodhisattva told you to recognize me as a master. Although I don't want to accept you as a disciple, since we go to learn scriptures together, we are considered Buddhists. Hey, how can my Buddhist disciples kill at will?

"Great Sage, next time you encounter similar things, you can't be so willful, or you will ruin your practice. Well, in my opinion, if you encounter such evil people again, you should tie them up and send them away." official.

"If it's really inconvenient, you should go to the nearby people's house to find the sufferer, and let these bandits make up for the sufferer and try their best to pay for their sins...Anyway, you can't just kill him."

This great sage has always been proud and arrogant, and he is used to being the king of the mountain, so he is not willing to listen to a pustule nagging a little boy with a lesson, even if he quarrels with Wuji for a few words.

In the original book, the Great Sage was blamed by Tang Seng for killing six robbers, and finally left in anger. Now, although Wuji did not preach and criticize like in the original book, he made it clear for the first time that he did not agree with Monkey King's approach.

This remark immediately annoyed Sun Dasheng who was the most frustrated. Therefore, although the process was slightly different, in the end, Sun Dasheng still left in anger.

Just taking advantage of the time when Sun Dasheng ran away, Guanyin Bodhisattva appeared in front of Wuji, gave him a gold hoop, and taught him the "Tight Hoop Curse".The Bodhisattva bluntly said that this "Tightening Curse" can be used to restrain stubborn disciples who do not listen to the teachings and are unruly.

After the Bodhisattva left, Wuji looked thoughtfully at the gold-embellished hat with the gold hoop hidden.

After a short rest, Wuji continued on his way, and everything seemed to be the same as before. But as he walked, Wuji suddenly felt that he was so lonely without his uncle Dasheng patiently listening to him.
