[HP] Riddle's Spirit Behind

Chapter 125 Happy Family

A few days later, Uncle Tim was discharged from the hospital, but he couldn't remember what happened recently.Eleanor didn't think this was a bad thing. It took her a while to convince Uncle Tim that she wasn't a ghost, but a real person.

"I can't believe it," said Uncle Tim dumbfounded. "I saw you buried with my own eyes. What happened?"

Eleanor didn't intend to hide from him.She told him everything she knew about the wizarding world.

Of course, he thought Eleanor was crazy at first, until Eleanor pulled out her wand and demonstrated a frozen flame.Uncle Tim yelled "Oh, my God" several times in shock, and finally gradually believed everything Eleanor said.

But what Eleanor told him next surprised him even more.

"I'm married," she said, "to a wizard, of course."

"What did you say?" Uncle Tim stared at her incredulously, "But you're only a little older to get married?"

Eleanor grinned at Uncle Tim, "Yes, but I'm sorry you didn't come to my wedding."

In Uncle Tim's heart, Eleanor is still that 17-year-old girl.

But the time that Eleanor had paused for a while had begun to pass again. She is no longer that 17-year-old girl.

Her hair has grown a lot this year, even exceeding her waist. She felt that long hair was a bit of a hindrance, so she simply cut it into a refreshing short hair.

But when she asked her husband if he liked his new hairstyle, Tom euphemistically said she looked like a man now.

As a result, Eleanor's hair miraculously grew back the next morning. She swears that Tom had added hair restorer to her dinner.

"Are you suspecting me of poisoning you again, Eleanor?" Tom smiled calmly.

Eleanor suddenly remembered what happened a few months ago, she choked up, then snorted angrily, turned around and left.Probably because of her pregnancy, her current personality is like going back to when she was still at Hogwarts a few years ago, becoming suspicious and childish.

On the contrary, Tom has become more mature and stable. He's not as sullen and irritable as he used to be, which makes the students like him even more.

In addition, Eleanor wasn't sure if Tom was taking care of herself, or for some other reason, he had rarely left Hogwarts for several months.Even if he leaves, he won't come back until midnight.

Eleanor was so pleased with the change that she didn't ask Tom why.She secretly hoped that this life would last forever.

At the end of August, Eleanor's baby was finally born.Eleanor's expectations did not fail, and she gave birth to a healthy little girl.

But God has given her special favor. In giving her this daughter, he also gave her a lovely boy - thank God, she gave birth to twins.

She decided to name the girl Nelly, after her grandmother. And the boy was called Tim, after her uncle, of course.

Nelly had the same dark eyes as her father, and she looked a lot like her father.Tim, on the other hand, is more like Eleanor.

Tim was born weak and often fell ill, while Nelly was much healthier. So Eleanor couldn't help but spend a lot of thought on little Tim.

Nellie and Tim quickly became the "new toys" of the Hogwarts staff, and almost all the professors were fascinated by these two cute little creatures, probably because most of them did not have their own child.

While Tim and Nelly were already finger-sucking and giggling, Tom made a surprising decision.

He decided to resign from Hogwarts and turned down a job as Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. This surprised everyone.

"I thought you'd always wanted that job, Tom," Professor Dumbledore said to him as they were eating dinner at the staff table.

"I changed my plan." Tom said lightly, "Although Hogwarts is still attractive to me, it can no longer give me what I want."

Professor Dumbledore raised the wine glass in his hand and smiled: "I'm happy for you, Tom, I'm serious."

Tom turned to look at him in a little surprise.

"You have changed a lot...Tom. In the past, every time I saw you surrounded by your friends, I always felt that you were still alone." Dumbledore said calmly, and a little bit of emotion had already appeared on his face. Drunk, "Every time at this time, I think of myself when I was young, but you have taken a step that I have never taken before..."

Tom didn't speak, but looked at the point in front of him silently, and poured himself a glass of red wine at the same time.

Dumbledore took a sip of his wine and his eyes became a little blurred. He murmured hoarsely: "When I saw you and Eleanor, and Nelly and Tim together... I felt that the boy who hid the secret in the closet ten years ago was about to disappear .To be honest, I almost can’t remember that time.”

"I don't remember either," said Tom softly. The burning wardrobe clearly came to his mind, but he couldn't remember exactly what he and Dumbledore had said.

"Yes, so there is no need to mention the past." Dumbledore suddenly smiled and said, he raised his glass again, "...for Nelly and Tim." Finally, the two drank the wine in the glass almost at the same time. The wine was drained in one gulp.

After leaving Hogwarts, the Eleanor family moved into a big house. The house has been well decorated, and even the basic daily necessities are ready.

Eleanor couldn't help but suspect that Tom had such a plan long ago.She was a little annoyed that Tom hadn't consulted her first, but her liking for the new house soon overcame her dissatisfaction.

The new house has four bedrooms, enough for them and their children. It took Eleanor two days to dress up the room, putting on her favorite sky-blue curtains and tablecloths with lovely lace. Finally, looking around, she always felt that something was still missing.

—Oh, yes.It suddenly occurred to her that there were still some photos missing in the room. She realized that she had never had a picture taken with Tom, not even on their wedding day.

So the next day, she wrote to Avery, asking him to help take pictures.

Tom was clearly not interested in the matter.Although he has a very good skin, he just doesn't like to take pictures-this makes Eleanor puzzled. But in the end he couldn't hold back Eleanor's request.

In the end, they took a dozen family photos, and a few pictures of Eleanor and Tom together.Eleanor hung them all on the living room and porch walls.

In those moving photos, Eleanor smiled brightly and waved at the camera, or leaned intimately next to Tom, while Tom stiffened and smiled unnaturally.Nelly and Tim, for the first time, were neither crying, and in one photo, Nelly was even grinning and giggling.

Looking at those photos, Eleanor let out a long sigh of relief. She finally really felt the taste of a home.

After resigning from Hogwarts, Tom quickly found a new job.Without anyone's recommendation letter or recommendation form, Tom got a job in the Department of International Magical Cooperation of the Ministry of Magic simply by virtue of his ability.

Everyone knows that, apart from the Wizengamot, the Department of International Magical Cooperation is the easiest place to make money, and the previous ministers were all directors of the Department of International Magical Cooperation.

But no one expected it. Only one year had passed, and just as the current director of the International Magical Cooperation Department retired, Tom took over the important task logically. The Daily Prophet commented that this is probably the youngest director in decades.

Eleanor couldn't think of a better place for Tom than politics - he was just at home there. Not long after he took office, he made several very important decisions, which quickly gained the support of public opinion. The Daily Prophet even described him as a "pioneer leading the new reforms of the Ministry of Magic".

Eleanor didn't care about this, but she was a little worried—has Tom really cut off contact with those dangerous elements in the past?

Occasionally someone whom he doesn't know will come to visit Tom.They would lock themselves in the study and talk for most of the day.But Eleanor has never seen anything like a vampire or a werewolf.

For the safety of the children, she finally couldn't help asking Tom one day before going to bed.

Tom raised his head from the book, chuckled and said, "Don't worry, I've already dealt with it. Don't worry, the protective magic I added to this house is very strong, and it's harder to break than the Gringotts vault now ’” He closed the book, leaned over and kissed Eleanor, “now go to bed.”

Seeing Tom lying down next to her, Eleanor closed her eyes, and couldn't help but secretly guess what he meant by "it's settled".

She had seen Tom kill the dark wizard who held her hostage without hesitation, so she very much suspected that those people were probably dead. What surprised her secretly was that she actually thought it would be great if that was the case. She finds herself more receptive to Tom's dark side than she thought.

Tim and Nellie grew up so fast. In Eleanor's view, they grew into little rascals who could run around in the blink of an eye.

The two little ones showed their magical talents early on, but compared to Nelly, Tim's magic is very unstable.Once, when Nelly broke his toy car, he cried so loudly that he blew a water pipe.

Nelly's magic power is much more stable, but she makes Eleanor even more headache.Because she is very curious, pretends to be obedient on the surface, but likes to be mischievous secretly, and always makes Tim cry.

Once, while changing the sheets, Eleanor found a little black snake in Nelly's bed.Eleanor immediately ran for the door screaming.

Finally Eleanor orders Nelly to throw the snake away. But Nellie didn't want to at all.

"It's my friend!" screamed Nellie, hugging the snake so tightly she looked like she was suffocating it, "I don't throw my friend!" Then she hissed again. Said a lot of Parseltongue.

"I said, don't speak Parseltongue!" Eleanor reprimanded unhappily, "You know I can't understand! I don't want to see that snake again before dinner, understand?"

"But Papa has a snake!" cried Nelly, aggrievedly. "I saw it in his study!"

Eleanor choked.

At dinner she complained bitterly about it to Tom.

Tom laughed.

"Don't laugh." Eleanor said unhappily, and smacked the soup bowl with a spoon, "Nellie is raising snakes in her bed! I have said several times, don't let the two of them see Nari Genie!"

"Nagini was a gift from you," said Tom, smiling, "and it only slips into my study now and then, not usually."

"Snakes won't hurt us," Nelly said grumpily, stirring the custard on the plate. "Mommy is afraid of snakes, so she told me to throw my friend Jimmy out."

Tim, on the other hand, ate his dessert without saying a word, watching them with interest. He is now a lovely boy with curly black hair and green eyes.Because he is thinner than his peers and looks too delicate, he is often mistaken for a girl by strangers. He was taciturn and seemed very well-behaved and obedient-although he looked like Eleanor, his personality had not been inherited from his mother at all.

"Let them keep them, there's nothing wrong with it," said Tom, putting down his knife and fork suddenly, "as Nelly said, snakes won't hurt them.

Hearing Tom's words, Nelly immediately looked at Eleanor helplessly: "I will let it stay in my room obediently and not go anywhere! I won't let it scare you, please, mother !” Her pretty face, which was very similar to her father’s, was showing a pitiful expression, and she was looking at her mother with tears in her dark eyes.

Eleanor knew her daughter very well-although she was not yet five years old, Nelly was already a little devil in the appearance of an angel. But unfortunately, Eleanor can't always resist Nelly's offensive of pretending to be pitiful.

"Okay." Eleanor finally said, "but..."

"Hooray!" cried Nellie happily. "Thank you, mother!" She threw herself on Eleanor's face and kissed her hard, slobbering face.

Tom raised the corner of his mouth and said, "What about me?"

Nelly immediately grinned and said, "Of course you, idiot!" She leaned over and kissed her father on the cheek.

Eleanor smiled helplessly and shook her head - she even called her father a fool!It seemed that she had to find a way to solve Nelly's upbringing.

"Me too." Tim said suddenly and slowly, then crawled to his father's side and kissed him on the other cheek.

"Tell us another story tonight, will you?" Nelly demanded, poised to sit on Tom's lap.

"I want to hear the story of the great Big Four," Tim said quietly.

"I want goblin stories!" Nelly said loudly, trying to drown out Tim's voice.

Tom sighed and cast a helpful look at Eleanor.Eleanor knew that he was not good at dealing with these two little guys, but she didn't make a sound. She blinked and gave a schadenfreude smile before turning away with the plate in hand.

When Eleanor cleaned up all the tableware and returned to the bedroom, she found that the two little ones had fallen asleep beside their father.Tom fell asleep too, and Elinor knew he must be exhausted.

Eleanor stared at the sleeping faces of the three of them.A pleasurable sense of happiness slowly filled her chest.

Finally she put the blanket over them carefully, and turned and quietly walked out of the room and closed the door.

She decided to spend the night in Nelly's room. But not long after she got into Nelly's bed, she felt something cold moving up her trousers.

—It was the snake!

Eleanor took a deep breath and screamed, "Ah—"
