[HP] Riddle's Spirit Behind

Chapter 080 The Kiss Between the Brooms

The next morning, Eleanor slammed open the door of the Transfiguration classroom and broke in.

Dozens of pairs of eyes immediately cast curious gazes on her.

Professor Dumbledore stood on the podium and frowned and said, "You are late, Miss Alford."

"I'm sorry, Professor." Eleanor said quickly.

"I remember that this is the second time you have been late this month, can I hear your reason?" Professor Dumbledore said with a sigh.

"Uh, did I oversleep?" Eleanor blinked.

Everyone, including Professor Dumbledore, couldn't help laughing.

"Sit down," Dumbledore said with a smile, "I think you should buy an alarm clock. If there is a third time, I can only deduct points for you, Eleanor."

"There won't be a third time," Eleanor promised.

But halfway through the class, she started to feel drowsy again. She forced herself to concentrate on Professor Dumbledore's explanation.

Since when, she always dozed off in class and often overslept in the morning.Probably because the class is really boring, or maybe it's because the weather has turned cold.

Eleanor yawned, staring at Professor Dumbledore's opening and closing mouth, but couldn't hear a single word.

"Why don't you finish class?" She thought in a daze.

"...Wake up, Eleanor."

Who is calling her name?

She woke up suddenly from her sleep, and found that she had fallen asleep lying on the table.

"Tom?" She rubbed her eyes and said hoarsely to the dark-haired boy standing next to her, "What time is it?"

"get out of class is over," said Tom, "everyone else has left."

"Oh, hell, I actually slept through the whole class," Eleanor muttered, "It's a good thing Professor Dumbledore didn't notice."

Tom chuckled suddenly. "He noticed, and called your name—twice."

"What?" said Eleanor in amazement. "Oh, damn it! I'm so sound asleep?"

Tom was silent for a moment, then said softly, "Are you sure you're all right? You look a little haggard."

"Aside from being a little sleep deprived, I feel as healthy as a calf." Eleanor replied with a stretch. "I'm starving right now, so let's go get lunch!"

Tom reached out and pulled her up from the chair, then took her into his arms.

Eleanor met his eyes in a little surprise.

Immediately, Tom put their lips together very naturally.

Eleanor closed her eyes subconsciously. When she realized that the current location was the Transfiguration classroom, she couldn't help but feel very nervous, but also vaguely excited.

After finishing all this, he tidied up the somewhat messy skirts, as if nothing had happened, and said calmly: "Let's go."

For a period of time after that, Eleanor found that she and Tom were like thieves, looking for free time to kiss.

After curfew, they would deliberately wait until the common room was empty to kiss each other good night.

Sometimes, when Eleanor was walking alone in the hallway, Tom would suddenly grab her from behind and lead her into an empty classroom nearby.

At other times, they are just like ordinary classmates. No one has ever seen them have any excessive intimacy.Bonnie and Rita go out of their way to spread the gossip about Eleanor and Tom among the girls, but not many people really believe that they are that kind of relationship.

After Potions class on Friday, most of the students went to the Great Hall for dinner.

Eleanor hid in the narrow broom, closed her eyes and pressed her hands into Tom's soft black hair.

They seldom kiss so passionately, it's usually a simple light kiss. But today Tom seemed a little more enthusiastic than usual.

The two of them are huddled in a narrow space, and they can clearly feel each other's breath and body temperature. It was like setting fire to two adolescents, and it was clear that no one could resist the temptation.

Tom took half a step forward and pressed Eleanor against the wall behind him, holding her chin in place with one hand.He nibbled Eleanor's lips with his teeth a little roughly, or licked and moved his tongue over Eleanor's lips.

Eleanor subconsciously opened her mouth slightly, which was like a silent invitation.Tom immediately drilled his hot tongue in, and rolled Eleanor's tongue in it.He hungrily gnawed or sucked on the tip of Eleanor's sensitive tongue, like tasting something delicious.

Eleanor felt it became difficult to breathe, and even a little dizzy. This kiss was longer and more exciting than any previous one.

She almost couldn't stand anymore, so she hugged Tom's waist tightly, and unconsciously pressed her body against Tom's.The other's solid and fiery body made Eleanor clearly feel that Tom is a boy completely different from herself. She suddenly felt her breathing became messy and heavy again, and her cheeks began to gradually heat up.

Then she felt Tom's hands begin to move restlessly over her body.He stroked her waist, then began to move up slowly, and finally moved near her chest.

The touch of the boy's palm made Eleanor tremble, and a strange electric current surged through her whole body.

"No." She shook her head and said hoarsely, grabbing Tom's wrist and trying to push him away. "Not now."

Tom stopped kissing her. In the darkness, Eleanor couldn't see his expression clearly, and could only hear the rapid breathing of the other party.

"Why?" Tom whispered.

"You can only do this after you get married." Eleanor whispered, and at the same time felt that it was too shameful to say such a thing, "...before there, we can only kiss and do nothing else."

Tom fell silent, and Eleanor couldn't help feeling a little worried. Is he angry?

But soon there was a husky chuckle from Tom.

"Okay," he said, "but what do you think I was trying to do to you just now?"

Eleanor opened her mouth, suddenly realizing that the other party might be deliberately teasing her.So she said angrily, "I refuse to answer that question. How do I know what you want to do? I don't know Legilimency."

Tom leaned down and kissed her lips and chin, and whispered, "You'll know."

What would she know? When Eleanor understood the meaning, her heart beat like a drum. Was he saying that they were likely to get married in the future?

Eleanor began to feel that her time with Tom was like a dream, for when they emerged from between the brooms they began to keep their distance again, not even sitting together at mealtimes.

Tom took a seat next to Nott and Cloures and sat down.He greeted them with a smile, still flushed from before.

It's a pity that no one except Eleanor noticed Tom's strangeness.

Eleanor watched him and watched him happily chatting with those people, and suddenly felt a little jealous.

Why can't he sit with her and eat or something? It occurred to her that they rarely did anything else together except kiss.

Is this what love is like?Eleanor frowned thinking.

She sat down, her eyes still fixed on Tom's direction.

"Good evening, Eleanor." Abraxas' voice suddenly came from opposite her.

Only then did Eleanor discover who the person sitting opposite her was. Then, to her embarrassment, she found herself sitting next to Avery.

"Hi, good evening." She forced a smile to greet them.

"Why haven't you been seen lately?" Abraxas suddenly said calmly, "Don't tell me, you're actually avoiding us, Eleanor."

"Of course not." Eleanor said in surprise, "I didn't avoid you." Obviously they were avoiding her, she thought to herself.

Abraxas raised his eyebrows and looked at Avery, "Say something, Avery."

Avery took a deep breath, lowered his head and said, "Well, it's my fault." He turned his head to look at Eleanor as if he had made up his mind, "I admit that I deliberately avoided you... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." He said those words quickly, the same way he explained that day that he didn't like Eleanor anymore.

"It's okay." Eleanor replied.Of course she could understand Avery's reasons for avoiding her, so she wasn't angry at all.

Avery turned his head away and gave a soft "hmm".

Abraxas laughed suddenly, "It's really hard to make the two of you reconcile. From now on, the three of us won't hide from each other, okay?"

"I agree." Avery said quickly.

"Of course." Eleanor shrugged.

Abraxas held up the pumpkin juice in his hand, "Come on, let's celebrate."

Eleanor also raised the goblet and said with a smile, "Okay, but what are we toasting for?"

Avery was silent for a moment, then smiled and said, "For our friendship."

"Yes, of course. For friendship," Abraxas said.

"For friendship." Eleanor also answered.

The three of them looked at each other and smiled, then drank the drinks in their cups in one gulp.

None of them saw that a pair of black eyes were watching the scene across the long table.

Tom paced the bedroom at night, restless and angry.

In the past month, he originally thought that he had completely grasped her in his hands, but she slipped away from his hands like fine sand.He can easily and firmly control other people, and can often even guess their thoughts, but he can't tie such a girl to his side.

She doesn't need those people at all.thought Tom angrily.

It's different now. She didn't have him by her side before, so she stayed with those people.

But now, she doesn't need them anymore. She can only be surrounded by people who have been selected by him, not stupid girls like Bonnie and Rita who only discuss gossip, let alone Avery and Abraxas.

Hell, Eleanor!Could it be that she couldn't see it at all?For Tom, Avery and Abraxas' minds are simply clear.Tom had become more certain of his ideas since his last brief conversation with Abraxas.

They just wanted to keep her on a leash, like a pet that was always on call.Tom sneered and thought, even if she is a pet, it can only be his, and no one else is qualified.

But Tom also knew Eleanor wasn't really a pet.

She has more potential than any student at Hogwarts, and those stupid professors can only judge students by their grades.Tom was pretty sure he was the only one who saw this.

He kind of can't wait for the day when Eleanor surprises everyone. But before he could do that, he had to make her distance herself from those unnecessary people.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner.

This year's Valentine's Day, advocated by Professor Flower, the school decided to prohibit students from giving gifts to each other in private, because last year a student got a love potion in chocolate, which caused a lot of riots.

But it left students complaining, and many thought the ban was bullshit, since it's impossible for schools to spy on everyone on Valentine's Day to see if they're giving gifts.

The school finally made a decision. On the first day of Valentine's Day, the school posted a notice saying that this year's Valentine's Day will return to the decades-old tradition of holding a jar dance in the basement.

Interestingly, there is another notice posted under that notice, that is, Slytherin House has decided to let students form mutual support study groups, a trick that seems to have been learned from Ravenclaw. They will be grouped according to grades, and then the list of study groups will be announced next week.

Eleanor was only interested in the first announcement. She turned her head and asked, "Jar Ball? Dance with a jar on your head?"

"Of course not," Abraxas said with a smile, "you will know when the time comes."
