Desire on the other side of blood

Chapter 20 Jesse Mai's Redemption

Just as we were about to touch the stone, a dark figure suddenly appeared behind a statue. The black shadow rushed towards us, Felian immediately stretched out his hand to push me away, and raised the white scepter to the black shadow.

Dazzling white light shot out from the top of the scepter, illuminating the entire church in a translucent light. The black figure seemed to be afraid of the strong light, and hid behind a statue while screaming.

The figure of that black figure is very familiar, as if I have seen it somewhere...

"Since she's already here, you can come out, Dotley." Felian put down the scepter and said coldly.

His voice was neither soft nor heavy, it was still so elegant and calm, but it echoed throughout the church with great penetrating power.

The heavy door of the church was slowly opened in the echo. There was a man standing at the door.

The man was against the light, and the expression on his face was hidden in the shadow of the light, only the lens still glowed with an indifferent white light.

He came in slowly. The soles of the leather boots tapped rhythmically on the hard marble floor, unhurried, calm and polite, and brought the perfect gentleman's demeanor to the extreme.

He got closer and closer. He always had a humble smile on his face.

I squinted my eyes with some discomfort, and slowly opened them again.I looked at the man who kept smiling.

dotley.Jesse Mai.

"Your Majesty, you are finally here." Mr. Jesse Mai walked under the altar, took off his top hat, and performed standard court etiquette.

"Yes. You have done so much, don't you just want me to come here? Now your goal has been achieved." Philian's tone is still light, as if it is just a simple meeting between friends now.He put on the gloves again.

"Your Majesty should know that I just want to ask Your Majesty to do you a favor." Jesse Mai took off his glasses and pushed back his bangs that hung down in front of his eyes. With just such a simple action, he seemed to be a completely different person. The original bookish look faded a lot, and the gray eyes were replaced by maturity, indifference, and elegance.

"If it wasn't for this method, His Majesty would never have brought out the staff."

Those eyes swept over me, then settled on the statue behind me.

"Whitney, baby, come here." He raised his hand in the air, his voice soft.

As if he had been summoned, the black figure immediately appeared at his feet.It prostrated itself on the ground, raised its face and rubbed against Jesse Mai's legs, and let out a comfortable sigh.

It really was Miss Whitney. That cold and arrogant woman who always looked down on me, and now she looks like a pet that has met its owner.

"You want me to use the spirit staff to save her?" Felian chuckled, his voice full of sarcasm, "You know that the vampires look down on the most low-level creatures like zombies, and the only end for zombies is to be killed The flames are completely burned, and you still want to save her?"

"Yes, Your Majesty, I implore you to save her." Even though he was pleading, Jesse Mai still straightened his proud back.

"I won't agree." Felian flatly refused.

"No, you will agree, for the magic bracelet, and for Mr. Lambert who is standing beside you." As soon as Jesse Mai finished speaking, the church immediately fell into silence.

Felian lowered his head, a few strands of bangs hanging down, covering his eyes.

I saw his hand grip the scepter tightly.

"Your Majesty!" A slightly angry voice broke the silence, it was Sabrina.

"Your Majesty, although the Spirit Staff has the ability to recover, it will cause great harm to you. You..."

"Okay, I promise you." Felian raised his head.Something flashed away in those deep sea-like eyes, leaving a shallow ripple.

"His Majesty!"

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Jesse Mai saluted again, then he knelt down on one knee and grabbed Whitney's hands, "Whitney, be good, just bear with it."

As if understanding his words, Whitney looked at him, even though there was deep fear in those blood-red eyes, she still waited motionless.

Felian raised the scepter, and the scepter flashed a smooth white light in the air.

He began to chant aloud:

We, pious people of Cain

Before the end of the fire comes

I swear on the name of my father—

Silent wind blows through the streets, towers are hidden in darkness

The moon shines like blood across the sky, and the sun shines like black ink hanging high on the sky

This is the cursed day manifested in bad day

The ancestors will wake up from the earth

Fasting taboos will be broken

The Destroyer will suck the blood of the elders

Homeland will become the last city of purgatory

Remember

those dancing shadows

those drifting darkness

the haze of the moon

those angels of death

those weeping virgins

the sprawling unaccompanied

Beware, they will be a sign of the end to come to the land

If you break this oath

Bloodlines will no longer be able to make offspring

The unrelated will rule the world

Heartbreakers will wreak havoc on the world

Then we will bear betrayal, hatred and pain

no more peace

……

His voice was deep and slow, echoing the distant bell.

Dazzling golden light shot out from the top of the scepter, bursting in the sky, falling to the ground like a sky full of stars.

The long dark purple hair is flying in the air, like a meteor passing through the void, burning at dawn.

The glare of the eyes rolls in the night, and pitches before the light.

The legendary oath once again flashed in the world.

……

As if endless pain poured into her limp body in an instant, Whitney began to struggle unconsciously.

Jesse Mai kept suppressing her movements, and his body was trembling slightly.Where the golden light fell, a thin layer of blood mist began to appear around his body. The blood mist gradually rose, and gradually condensed into a blood cell. The blood cells were spinning at high speed in the air, spinning, and suddenly broke free from some kind of shackles and flew straight towards me.

I was extremely astonished and tried to avoid it, but the blood cell seemed to have a will of its own, and quickly sank into my body. The moment the red light faded, it seemed as if a boundless blood-colored flame exploded in front of his eyes, leaving only a dazzling bright red in the vast field of vision.

Can't see anything, can't hear anything.

Except for the low, magnetic voice that keeps echoing in the ears, it's like the euphemistic low-pitched singing of a choir.
