09 Secret room scene

The author has something to say: Attached is a floor plan of the crime scene, which is not drawn to scale. The main purpose is to let everyone know the layout of the crime scene

This is a study room of about [-] pings, located on the easternmost side of the first floor, facing south. There are only two windows on the south side of the whole room, and the only door is located on the west side of the north side.On the east wall is a row of bookshelves filled with books. In front of the bookshelf is a large desk. The desk is clean and there is no computer. On the west side of the room are two high-end leather sofas and a glass tea table. In the middle of the study is a wooden carved screen, which just divides the study into two parts: the reading area and the reception area. The layout of the whole study can be described as simple yet luxurious.

The door should have been pasted with the tape used by the police to seal the scene, but it has long since disappeared, and only traces of the tape left on the door frame can be vaguely seen.It seems that the police have determined that Keisuke Shimazaki is the murderer, so the blockade of this crime scene will be lifted.

Junko walked into the room, thinking of Enomoto's way of observing the room, so she followed Enomoto's example and inspected the whole room very carefully, even under the table.

After an overview of the room, Junko checked the two windows again. The half-moon catch on the window was locked.

"This room is still the same as it was when the incident happened, and the two windows were also locked at that time." Saori walked to Junko and explained.

Junko nodded knowingly.

In fact, even if the windows are not locked, this is still a secret room, because the windows are equipped with anti-theft bars, and it is impossible for people to pass through.

There are only two windows and one door to enter and exit this room, but now the two windows are all sealed by anti-theft bars, and the only entrance and exit is this door. But the door is locked. If Mr. Keisuke didn't kill the person, how did the real murderer get in and out?

"Really, this is the scene of the crime, how can you let people in casually?"

While Junko was in distress, there was a sudden complaint from behind. Junko turned around and saw a man who looked like a deacon leading a man into the room. This man is tall, at least 180 centimeters by visual inspection, a full head taller than Mr. Enomoto. He was about 30 years old and very handsome.Taking a closer look, Junko noticed the badge pinned to his chest, the prosecutor's badge.A name immediately flashed through Junko's mind.

Although this man was tall, rich and handsome, when Junko heard his complaint, he felt a little uncomfortable. After a while, Junko went forward and took out a business card and handed it to the tall, rich and handsome man.

"Hello! My name is Junko Aoto. I am Mr. Keisuke Shimazaki's defense attorney."

Gao Fushuai took the business card, looked Junzi up and down, raised the corner of his mouth, and said, "I didn't expect such a strange lawyer to come to the crime scene to investigate."

"To each other. I didn't expect that there would be a strange prosecutor who came to the crime scene to investigate! You are Mr. Sawano Eiichi, aren't you?"

Sawano Yingyi was taken aback: "You know me?"

"It's just because you have not made a decision on whether to prosecute after two inquiries with my client, and you think it's a bit strange, so I remember your name."

Sawano Hideichi smiled when he heard the words, and said, "So that's the case. I haven't decided whether to prosecute or not. It's because I feel that the case is a bit suspicious, so I came to the scene to investigate today."

Junko nodded, and suddenly caught a glimpse of Akagi beside her.Seeing this, Saori hurriedly introduced: "This is Mr. Akagi, the deacon."

"Hello, Mr. Akagi, can you tell me about the circumstances of the incident?"

"That day the young master came back to look for the master and knocked on the door for a long time, but the master didn't answer. The second young master was worried about something, so he asked us to knock the door open."

"Is there only one key to this door?"

"Yes."

"Where do you usually put it?"

"It's always been here with the master."

"Is it possible that the key was copied by someone?"

"Impossible." Eiichi Sawano answered this time. He looked at Junko and explained, "This lock is specially made by the factory. Each lock and each key has its own number. If you want to copy the key, you must go to the factory. It can’t be copied elsewhere. But every key copied in the factory will be recorded. After investigation by the police, this lock has only one key in the record, and there is no record of copying the key.”

Junko stood silent for a moment, thoughtful. After a while, he asked Chimu again: "Where was the key when the crime happened?"

"In the desk drawer."

"Does your master lock the door of the study every time he takes a nap?" Eiichi Sawano asked this time.

"No. When the master is not in the study, he will definitely lock the door. Sometimes he will lock it during his lunch break. Because the hamster raised by the master is sometimes placed in the study, and the master will leave the door for me to go in and feed the hamster."
