Fiona stared at the body on the ground.

She was standing on the roof of a building, and the scene in front of her was enough to make any rookie policeman who had just entered the police station throw up on the spot.

A blond woman lay naked on the ground, her wrists and ankles were tightly bound with belts and stockings, and other clothes were piled messily aside.

She was covered in bruises, with multiple bruises and even broken bones that appeared to have been caused by blunt force. Her own panties were over her head, and her nipples had been cut off and thrown casually on her chest.

"Very humiliating gesture." Fiona frowned and said, "This bastard is expressing contempt for women."

"You know? You have a stronger mental capacity than any newcomer I've ever seen. How did you do it?" Standing next to her, Lieutenant Fox (title of the Virginia State Police) said with his hands on his hips.

"Naturally." Fiona smiled.

This lieutenant fox is her boss.

When she first entered the police force, he was very skeptical of her ability, even though her resume showed that she had achieved eye-popping grades in every aspect of the police academy. This is because she did not have any record of serving in the military before, and there is still a two-year gap on her resume, which means that she has been unemployed at home for those two years.

Because of Fiona's outstanding performance during the police academy, she was directly recommended to work in the police department of Richmond, the capital of Virginia, and successfully entered the homicide squad. But she still needs to prove that her ability is not limited to high test scores.

"Sophiabourke, 29 years old, born in Richmond. She is a teacher in a local high school." Antonio Artie standing next to her said.He was a homicide officer, a tall, stocky black man.

"Her spine is a bit curved." Fiona said suddenly, "See? Here it is, she has a bit of kyphosis."

"She's disabled." Fox frowned.

"This son of a bitch will only bully such weak women who have no power to fight back." Artie cursed.

"What's under the clothes over there?" Fiona suddenly asked, "It's under that dress."

"Don't touch it." Fox warned, but it was too late.

Fiona had lifted the dress with her latex-gloved hands.

A stench hit the face.

"Shit!" she yelled, before throwing the dress back hastily. She turned her head and stared at Fox in disbelief, "That bastard pooped at the crime scene?"

In the evening, it was time for the fbi to get off work. Reid tucks the folder into his messenger bag as he thinks about his perfect weekend plans. There was a lecture on genetic psychology in Atlanta this weekend, and he had already booked his flight.

He stood up, only to see man chatting with a beautiful female detective.

"See you next time, agentman. You have my number," she said with a smile, before turning and heading for the elevator.

Reid frowned, raised the corners of his mouth and looked at the tall female detective's back, "Again?"

Gaica, who just walked up to Reid, smiled teasingly and said, "Wow, you are the most popular person in our group. They can't take their eyes off your sexy ass, can they?"

"I really don't understand how you did it." Reid blinked pretending to be confused, "Why can't such a good thing happen to me?"

"Oh." Gacia looked at Reid sympathetically, "Maybe you can borrow man's ass."

"You two don't tease me all the time." Man smiled helplessly.

At this time, Jennfier came over and interrupted their chat.

"Guys, you need to come over here."

"New case?" Man frowned.

"Yes." Jennifer smiled helplessly, "I'm sorry."

"Oh no. My shopping weekend." Gacia groaned, but she turned and hurried back to her office.

"It looks like I have to refund my ticket." Reid muttered, put down his backpack, and walked quickly to the meeting room.

Richmond is so close to Quantico they only took a half hour to get there by jetliner. After getting off the plane, they didn't stop much, but went directly to the police station in Richmond.

"I'm glad you can come." Captain Fox shook hands with them, "Agent Gideon, I've heard a lot about you."

Gideon, standing behind hotch, nodded. He has the same stern expression as Hotch, but his demeanor makes people feel steady and kind, which probably has something to do with his age.In fact, he just returned to the bau group not so long ago. Before that, he had been one of bau's most prestigious profilers.

"Nice to meet you, Captain Fox," Hotch said, and gave a quick introduction to the team.

"Sorry, I can't remember so many names." Fox frowned, ""

"It's okay." Hotch said calmly, "You don't need to remember. We need a suitable room as a conference room."

"It's been arranged." Fox said, "This way, please."

They walked into the police station and happened to meet a policewoman in police uniform with a golden ponytail.

Reid met her eyes, and his eyes widened slightly in surprise.

"Oh, this is our new trainee police officer Fionamars." Fox couldn't help introducing when he realized that everyone was staring at the policewoman.

"Agent Hothner," Fiona smiled and shook hands with Hotch, "It's nice to see you again."

Hotch's indifferent expression loosened a little, and the corners of his mouth finally curled up, "This is really surprising, Miss Mars."

"You know each other?" Fox looked at them in surprise.

"Yes, we met on a case," Hotch said.

Fox immediately showed an expression of enlightenment. That case was actually written in Fiona's file.

Fiona looked at Reid. She smiled and nodded at him, but said nothing else.

Reid nodded silently in response.

He hadn't seen her for more than a month since the last time.Reid was terrified by her strange enthusiasm last time, probably because he had never been approached so actively by a member of the opposite sex.In the next two months, he did not receive a call from Fiona. He didn't know if he was relieved, slightly disappointed, or both.

Seeing Fiona again, Reid felt that she was becoming more and more different from the cheerleader he remembered. Her hair was cut short, and she looked much neater and more capable, but it didn't compromise her charm.

Reid bets that there are definitely officers in the Richmond Police Department who have a crush on her, which is almost the exact opposite of Reid himself - very few members of the opposite sex will notice him.In fact, since high school, Reid knew that they were not the same kind of people.

Hotch quickly assigned the task.He asked Reid and Jennifer to go to the victim's home to investigate the situation, while Man and Gedion went to check the victim's body.As for Hotch himself, he's going to inspect the crime scene with Gideon and new agent Elle Greenaway.

"I asked Mars to take you there." Fox said to Reid and Jennifer, "She went to the victim's house before."

Afterwards, Fiona drove them to a residential area on the banks of the James River, where the victim's home was located.

On the way, Fiona looked in the rearview mirror at Reid, who was sitting in the back row, looking out the window.A smile appeared on the corner of her mouth, and she said, "So, you think the murderer this time might be a serial killer?"

"Yes." Reid's attention was successfully attracted, "He was violent to the victim, and he also did a series of despise and insults to her after her death. We think he is obsessed with his own sexual fantasies, and Seriously sadistic."

"But we found no other similar cases."

Fiona's question aroused Reid's desire to speak.

Leaning forward, he continued, "Actually, a serial killer is not defined by the number of kills. It is an inherent characteristic. Although this is the first time the unknown suspect has committed a crime, we are sure that he will never Let’s stop now. In other words, he will definitely kill again.”

"Sounds awful," Fiona said, frowning. "Looks like we'll have to catch this bastard."

She stopped the car suddenly.

"Here we are," she said.

Reid followed Jennifer out of the car.But Fiona stopped him suddenly.

"Dr. Reid?" she said.

Reid looked at her in the driver's seat in confusion.

"Nice to see you again, really," she said.

Reid opened his eyes slightly in surprise. "Okay," he said, "me too."

Fiona suspected he was just saying it out of politeness.

Why the hell is he always so defensive about her? Fiona sighed secretly, and then pulled out the car keys casually.
