Euthanasia

Chapter 4

Jon's subordinates all knew that Jon had a bad temper. His best temper was before his leg broke and the day he was euthanized.

When Jon wakes up and sees an Asian face for the first time, he thinks he is hallucinating. In an instant, many things flashed through his mind, such as what heaven looks like, or he has become a new soul.

When he heard "China", Jon's mind was blank. He couldn't figure out how he could cross half of the world when he opened his eyes.

"...Why am I in China..." Before Jon could react, he spoke very slowly. Liu Zhiwei barely kept up with him. He thought for a while and said dryly: "...Maybe I think you can still Save it."

Liu Zhiwei, who shoulders the last wish of an international friend who may be euthanized at any time, feels that his mission is a bit heavy.

Immediately afterwards, the dazed Jon saw Lu Yi.

Liu Zhiwei stared at Jon's face, seeing that his face was blank and then changed repeatedly, as if he finally figured out something, and it became the calm before the storm.

Jon realized that he had been tricked.

What Shanna injected him with was not a lethal poison at all, it must have been an injectable sleeping pill with some drugs added to it.

Seeing that his expression was not right, Liu Zhiwei quickly said, "Don't get excited! Don't panic! Our country's medical level is also very good!" As soon as he finished speaking, he realized that he should speak English.

Jon took a deep breath, widened his green eyes and wanted to say something, when he saw Lu Yi press the bell for the bed, and said to him expressionlessly: "Master Williams, your situation Not stable yet, I know you have a lot to say to your husband, but right now you need to beat the jet lag."

Get rid of your sister's jet lag!

Jon almost cursed, but he quickly caught a key word in Lu Yi's words - "Husband"

Liu Zhiwei smiled dryly: "Hello, I am your husband." His English was very poor, but the sentences were simple, so the meaning was clear.Jon went blank for another two seconds.

Liu Zhiwei's heart skipped a beat, feeling that the matter was not simple.

Lu Wei said to Liu Zhiwei: "Master Williams has to rest, Mr. Liu, you can continue to take care of him tomorrow."

Liu Zhiwei realized that he had to go.He didn't want to explain the ins and outs of this matter to the other party.Liu Zhiwei glanced at Jon with heavy eyes, turned and left.

After Jon left, he finally felt able to speak. He gritted his teeth and asked, "What's going on?"

Lu Yi's expression was very natural: "As you heard, he is your husband. You signed all the contract documents, and he will share your wealth, your life, and when you still decide to die, You will be buried as well. You are legally married, would you like to see your marriage certificate?"

"I signed the contract?!" Jon suddenly recalled the many documents he had signed before his death.

"Yes, it's all your autograph." Lu Yi's expression was very natural, as if he was treating a mischievous amnesiac child.

It took all of Jon's restraint not to pour out the swear words. He made all the mental preparations for himself, and discarded his kingdom like garbage. The only hope in his life was euthanasia. Then he woke up and found that he had just slept, and there was another inexplicable foreign husband.

"I don't care who he is!" Jon roared through gritted teeth, "I want euthanasia! Now! Right now! — Right now!"

Lu Yi looked at him for a while, but said nothing. This long silence made Jon, who was tense and angry, feel weird for a moment.Lu Yi sighed and said, "Jon, doesn't regaining your life make you feel happy?"

Jon froze.

His voice suddenly got stuck in his throat. When he opened his eyes again, he felt a huge sense of panic and bewilderment, but it was undeniable that he felt a tiny bit of happiness.I am so lucky that I almost want to embrace the world.

Then a more intense anger of being fooled surged up.

Jon seldom has an order not obeyed, and rarely a wish is not fulfilled, and even fewer orders and wishes have been promised to be carried out, but they have not been fulfilled.

So Jon was furious - pissed off.

"No." He said firmly.

"Then you want to euthanize your husband now after leaving him in a foreign country?" Lu Yi asked.

"That's right, I don't know that person at all!" Jon became even angrier when he said this.

"Unfortunately, Jon, Chinese law does not allow euthanasia, so there are no facilities and medicines to meet your needs. Your passport has been sent to your husband. There is a two-year agreement between you and him. Until then, he will help you keep all your documents. Since he has the obligation and right to take care of you - according to the agreement - I don't think he will allow you to board the plane and leave the country."

When Lu Yi finished speaking, he turned sideways to avoid opening a water glass. The water cup was made of plastic. It bounced on the door and then fell to the ground and rolled twice.

Lu Yi looked at the watch on his wrist: "Is there any question, Master Williams?"

"Get out! You bastard!" Jon roared.Lu Yi turned around and went out the door. Just after taking two steps, he heard the roar from inside again: "Leave that agreement to me!"

Liu Zhiwei was a little timid when he went to see Jon the next day.He grabbed the door frame and poked his head in to take a look. The foreigner was sleeping.Maybe there is still jet lag, and the other party is fast asleep at seven o'clock in the morning.

Liu Zhiwei tiptoed in and quietly put the porridge on the bedside table.

Looking carefully at this person's face, Liu Zhiwei had to say, racial advantage. He has been in the entertainment industry for several years, so he can be attracted at a glance. With deep contours, light brown natural hair, and frighteningly long light brown eyelashes, three words popped up in Liu Zhiwei's mind inexplicably: eyelash monster.

He sighed, doubting his life for the second time. The last time he was considering whether to continue his career in showbiz.Seeing the other party's reaction yesterday, Liu Zhiwei felt something was wrong. This foreigner didn't seem to know him at all, and he didn't know what was going on.Liu Zhiwei has been ups and downs on the [-]th line for several years, and he has become tactful. He knows how to read people's eyes and guess their mood, and Liu Zhiwei guessed roughly what the other party is thinking.

Liu Zhiwei didn't want to do things that forced people at first, but when he thought of the assets in the contract, he held back.He has to live, and he can save a person's life, so why not do it?

Liu Zhiwei figured out that he came early the next day, and decided to try to get in touch with the other party, and also completed his five hours of voluntary work every day.

As soon as he put the porridge away, he simply tidied up the ward, picked up the plastic water cup that fell to the ground for some reason, and put it lightly on the bedside table. When I put it down, I put my little finger on it to prevent the slightest sound. Then he looked Jon up and down on the bed.

The sleeping position of the other party is very irregular, with legs sandwiched between the quilt and feet sticking out of the quilt, probably because of bad legs, the two legs are unnaturally thin, and they bend a bit strangely with the movements of the waist and hips. Both of his hands were thrown out, and a needle was still hanging from his right hand.

His face was a little pale, and his cheeks were slightly sunken. He must have suffered a lot when he came here.

Liu Zhiwei touched the opponent's feet with the back of his hand, feeling the coolness, so he slowly pulled out the quilt sandwiched between the opponent's legs, and covered his feet.

Liu Zhiwei moved cautiously. Just as he put Jon's left hand into the quilt, Jon frowned and changed his movements. Liu Zhiwei couldn't help being a little angry because his preliminary work was for nothing.

Fortunately, Jon didn't wake up, and his brows were still stretched, so Liu Zhiwei did it again lightly, leaving only his right hand hanging from the water still outside. He touched it lightly again with the back of his hand. The other party's fingers were frighteningly cold, perhaps because of the water.Liu Zhiwei thought for a while, then rummaged through things.

Jon only felt that he was very cold when he slept. He didn't feel cold at first, but he felt the coldness before when his body suddenly warmed up.When he opened his eyes covered with gum, he only vaguely saw a person sitting in front of his bed.He wanted to reach out and rub his eyes, but suddenly found that his hand was in the other's.The place where it is held is warm, and the place where it is exposed is cold. The contrast is stark.

As soon as Jon moved, the man quickly retracted his hand. Jon wiped his eye poo and saw the flustered person in front of the bed clearly.

—Oh, his husband.

Jon looked at Liu Zhiwei expressionlessly.

In the eyes of most Europeans and Americans, Asians look exactly the same, but Jon is a little different. He has a quarter of Chinese descent and has seen many Chinese movies, so he is somewhat capable of recognizing Asian faces.

Besides, there is only one Chinese who can hold his hand here, and he can guess it.

It was the first time Liu Zhiwei had such close contact with foreigners, so he was a little flustered and didn't know what language to speak. Then he regained his composure and introduced himself in English: "Hi, I'm Liu Zhiwei."

"Jon Williams." Jon replied with a half-smile.He was still looking at the Chinese in front of him with a critical look.Short stature—a common problem of Asians, being quite young—a common feature of Asians, poor English—a shortcoming of non-English speakers.Species that neither fit his aesthetics nor communicate with him smoothly.

Oh, not confident enough.

This is Jon's least favorite trait. He likes confident people, people who have confidence in their abilities, and he doesn't like the reservedness of oriental people, whether it is in work or in communication.

He has always liked hot beauties with a flamboyant personality, and he has never been introverted.

Liu Zhiwei was looked up and down by Jon, feeling as if he was being stared at by a difficult job interviewer, and the hairs all over his body stood up again. Before Jon could speak, he said, "Do you want some breakfast?"

"No." Jon was very rude.

Liu Zhiwei didn't expect the other party to be so straightforward, and the hand that reached out to take the porridge stopped. He boldly studied the other party's expression for a while, and then said noncommittally: "...Oh, I haven't eaten it yet, so I will eat it."

The corners of Jon's eyes twitched, and he saw Liu Zhiwei pour out the porridge from the insulated box into a small bowl, and started to eat it with a small plastic spoon.

The porridge is very fragrant, not ordinary white porridge, but lean meat porridge with chopped green onion sprinkled on top. Liu Zhiwei didn't just drink it all at once, but chewed it for a while after eating it with a spoonful.

Jon's throat rolled.

What is the best thing about China?food.

Jon didn't know what kind of food he wanted to eat in the United States, but all he made were American-style Chinese food. He rarely saw such simple but tempting food.

Liu Zhiwei finished his bowl of porridge as if no one was there, washed the bowl, put it aside, and said to Jon, "I'm going out to find a nurse, and I'll buy something along the way. What do you want?"

Jon replied coldly: "Nothing."

Liu Zhiwei left.

Jon waited for a long time and saw no sign of anyone coming back. He reached out to the bedside table and touched the insulated box, thinking that he would just take a look at what it was, and then ask Lu Yi to buy it for him, but he smelled it. I couldn't bear it anymore.Jon persisted for only half a second before taking a sip from the insulated box.

The porridge was hot and fragrant, and Jon drank half of it in one gulp.

He put down the incubator blankly, put his hands back on his belly and crossed his fingers. After more than ten seconds, he couldn't help but picked up the insulation box again.

Liu Zhiwei sat outside the ward and listened to the sound of Xilihulu drinking porridge inside and sighed.

How could there be such an awkward foreigner?

The author has something to say:

Jon: He must be trying to fatten me up so he can inherit my fortune.

Liu Zhiwei: ...
