Chapter 12 The Small Mirror

"Stock, you haven't attended our study group gathering for a long time."

"Sorry, Diggory, I've been busy lately." Hill looked at Cedric with apologetic eyes. Since he hooked up with the Quidditch team, he never went to Hufflepuff every Wednesday night. Fantastic common room.

"No matter what, you must come tonight. We have a few new members, so I can introduce you to them." Cedric said mischievously. He wasn't actually angry, and he was just joking with Hill.

"Okay, I'll go." Seeing the other party's serious eyes, Hill reluctantly agreed, "Aren't you a member of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team? Why are you so free?" He still Couldn't help but ask out.

"We practiced on Friday!" Cedric said indifferently as he walked, "However, I am very surprised that you actually know that I joined the Quidditch team."

"Why?" Hill was a little puzzled when he heard this sentence. Hufflepuff's grass is very famous in Hogwarts. Almost everyone knows that he joined the Quidditch team. Shouldn't he do you know?

Shrugging his shoulders, Cedric gave the reason: "Merlin, I always thought you were a person isolated from the world! How could this kind of instant message deliberately inquire?"

"It's not an instant message." Hill stopped and looked seriously into Cedric's eyes, "You've been on that team for two years."

After looking at Hill for a while, Cedric was defeated first and sighed, "You're right, this is not instant messaging."

After finishing speaking, the two looked at each other and couldn't help laughing.

Hill's recent research has yielded new results.

Originally, he was forced to take over the team's publicity work, but he found that he was gradually attracted by the content, and the deeper he went, the more he couldn't extricate himself. Some small refueling tools he made are now in Slytherin's hands. Of course, this also brought him some income. After all, Slytherin's children are not short of money, and spending a few gallons makes him happy , is definitely worth it.

During this period of time, he has been researching how to make a thing show different patterns due to different environments or people in contact with, and this work is easily completed.Hill was not satisfied. He tried to use the ancient runes to reflect people's thoughts on the things they held in their hands. After all, memory and thinking were both areas of research he was interested in.

One night, Alan was still lying in the quilt he had wrapped up, sticking out his head and watching Hill tinkering. "What's this?" he asked.

"Oh, do you want to see something new for the team?" He said, handing over the small mirror in his hand.

Allen took a look and said, "Why did you put Edwin's photo on it? He's not from the Quidditch team."

He stretched his neck over and glanced at the mirror in Allen's hand, "It means you're thinking about him now, maybe?" Hill himself wasn't too sure, after all, no one else had tried it.

"I'm obviously thinking of you!" Allen's face flushed suddenly, and his face was a little unnatural, "Besides, what does this have to do with thinking about who, isn't this for the team?"

"It's for the cheerleaders." Hill frowned and said, it didn't work as expected, which made him a little distressed. "I want them to show their refueling objects in their hands when they refuel. But I have tried a few times myself, and it seems that it is not very successful."

"Who was it when you were holding it?" Allen asked curiously, and slipped the mirror into Hill's hand, looking over his head, "Merlin, isn't this the handsome little Hufflepuff?" He asked exclaimed.

"It's indeed Diggory," Hill said helplessly. "After many experiments, he was the only one who appeared. I always thought that there was a mistake in the middle, and there could only be such a person."

"But Edwin also appeared just now?" He snatched back the mirror, and Cedric's bright smile on it suddenly turned into Edwin's sinister face. "This is really interesting! Although I don't know what it means."

"Perhaps the person I want to be the most in my heart?" Hill guessed thinking of Cedric's personal charm that everyone loves.

"Impossible! According to you, do I want to be a corpse face?" Allen immediately denied his point of view.

"Well, or the most worthy friend?" Hill continued to speculate.

"Aren't you my best friend?" Allen rolled his eyes.

Hearing this sentence, although Hill felt uncertain, he still became happy.

The two guessed for a long time, and finally nothing happened.Allen continued to roll on his bed, while Hill was going to Cedric's appointment. Although he didn't like to see other people, it was worthwhile to be able to discuss issues with Cedric.Thinking of this, Hill's originally unhappy mood immediately became much clearer.

As soon as you enter the Hufflepuff common room, you can feel the aroma of food filling the air.Although he had already eaten dinner, Hill still felt a little hungry.

"Stoke, come and eat something!" Cedric saw Hill who had just entered at a glance.

"Where did you get the food?" Hill looked at the food covered on the coffee table with some surprise.

"Secret!" Cedric smiled and blinked.

"..." I don't know when it started, Cedric was no longer cautious about himself, but became a little more intimacy that is unique to friends. Although this is a good thing, Hill always felt a little awkward.

"Come here, I'll introduce you to the new members!" As he spoke, Hill was pulled to the table by him. "These are the famous Gryffindor twins, the Weasleys. Surely you know each other?"

Looking at the two fiery red figures opposite, Hill's expression turned ugly. From the beginning of this school year, he has become the object of two people's jokes throughout the school. It should be said that this is not a funny thing, and he really doesn't like it.

"Oh, poor Stoke..."

"It doesn't seem to like us!"

"But we have already treated you..."

"I have admired it for a long time!"

"Poor little cutie under the paws of the old bat!"

"It's been a long time since you are shivering and feeling safe!"

George and Fred winked and sang together in front of him, and all the people around laughed, even Cedric couldn't help laughing out loud, but he restrained himself immediately, "Enough is enough for you two, I don't want to lose Hill as a friend!"

Hearing the other party directly calling his name, Hill looked over in surprise, while Cedric just looked at him with a smile, as if this was a very common thing. He opened his mouth and didn't say anything. The two had known each other for almost three years, and calling each other's names was indeed a matter of course.

"Don't pay attention to them, we still have a big beauty that we haven't introduced!" Cedric pulled him away from the croaking brothers, and Hill saw that there was indeed a young girl sitting beside them, covering her mouth and laughing at them. "This is Qiu Zhang, the third year of Ravenclaw, she is absolutely beautiful!"

The girl with an oriental air looked at her, her black eyes were completely docile, which made people feel very comfortable at first glance. "Hello, Senior Stoke."

"Nice to meet you, Zhang." Hill nodded. He really didn't know how to talk to girls, and there was a look of embarrassment on his face.

Realizing his embarrassment, Cedric couldn't help laughing, he patted Hill's shoulder, "Don't be so restrained, you will come here often in the future, and everyone will be familiar with it. By the way, the three of them have also taken the elective course. Ancient rune, if we communicate together in the future, we will make progress faster than working behind closed doors."

Nodding obediently, Hill didn't care.Communicating with others is already a top priority for him. Apart from Alan and Edwin, he only discussed his homework with Cedric.

After eating something, everyone was busy again.Hill found that since he hadn't come for a month, the study group had indeed changed a lot.In the past, it was very rare to play around and exchange homework with each other. Perhaps it was because of the presence of younger students, most of them were seriously exchanging academic confusion.

Cedric and Hill sat on the side. He was holding a copy of "The Source of Ancient Runes", and he had already turned over half of it.

Hill hesitated for a long time before taking out the contents of the bag.

"What is this? A mirror?" Seeing his movements, Cedric put down the book curiously.

"My new alchemy item." Hill was a little embarrassed, "but it seems to have failed, and it didn't achieve the purpose I wanted." He handed it over.

Cedric took it with great interest, "Oh my God," he called out in a low voice as soon as he glanced at it, then raised his head and looked around, only to find that no one was paying attention to them, and then continued: "Why? Is it Qiu Zhang?" As he spoke, he held up the mirror to show Hill, and sure enough, Qiu Zhang's face appeared in the mirror.

"I don't know, everyone sees it differently anyway." Hill said with some distress, "But I don't know the meaning of their appearance at all!"

"Maybe..." Cedric hesitated to speak.

"What?" Hill asked anxiously.

"Well, I said you can't laugh at me." Seeing Hill nodded in agreement, Cedric continued: "Maybe, I mean maybe, this mirror is reflecting who is the one we like in our hearts. After finishing speaking, his face turned red, "I really like Qiu."
