[HP Sirius] Light and Darkness

Chapter 9 Intermission 4

Sixth round

Hailis successfully passed the remedial flight lessons. Although she was still barely able to fly, she passed the test anyway.

She wanted to thank Sirius well, but she didn't know what to do.And exam month is always so busy that Haylies forgets what she was trying to do as soon as she's lost in her books.

After all the exams were over, the students packed their luggage and boarded the Hogwarts Express again.

This time, Sirius and the hijackers found an empty box first, and after a while, they saw Hailis walking slowly through the door with a book in her arms. She was also looking into the box, as if she was looking for something. After meeting Sirius' eyes, she smiled at him and walked away quickly.

After a while, Hailis came back from the direction where she disappeared just now with the book in her arms. Sirius thought she hadn't found a seat, so he opened the door of the box and stopped her. "Hey, Brad."

Halice smiled at him a little stiffly, and had no intention of staying. But Sirius blocked her with his body, and she had to stop.

"...Hi." Hai Lisi's eyes were a little flustered, and she regretted that she had walked back and forth.Originally, she was just planning to come and look for Sirius, and thank him if the opportunity was right, but Sirius was with James and the others every time, so Hayles didn't have the courage to call him out.

"If you don't have a place, you can come with us, just like when you came here." Sirius pointed to his partner with his thumb, and all three of them waved their hands to Hayles friendly.

"Uh, no, thank you. I'm with the students in the dormitory." Hailis replied with a little embarrassment.

Seeing Hailis's reaction, Sirius suddenly understood the reason for her visit. He ignored the opinions of the three friends and closed the box door, "Do you have something to say to me?"

"!" Can he read people's hearts? ? ?Halice's eyes widened, and she looked at Sirius in disbelief.

"Hey, Sirius. You're so mean! I want to listen too!" James knocked on the glass of the box door without hesitation.

Sirius simply blocked the little friend's sight with his own body, and sure enough, without the interference of others, Hailis felt much better.

"...I want to thank you, about the flying lessons." Hailes finally summoned up the courage to speak out.

Sirius suddenly realized that he almost forgot about that incident. "It's nothing, as long as you can pass."

"Then I have nothing else to do," said Hayles. "I'm going back."

Sirius made a please gesture. But because he still kept his back facing the door of the box, half of the aisle was blocked.Hayley had to squeeze sideways over his chest.

But finally thanks, Hai Lisi let go of one of her worries.

The train quickly arrived at King's Cross Station in London.

The parents led the children through the platform one after another, and Hailis came out pushing the luggage trolley by herself. She's going to wait here for her mother to come and take her to a port city in the east of England via Apparition or a fireplace or something, and then take the ferry back to German land to Apparate. After all, Britain and Germany are separated by a strait, even for wizards, it is quite inconvenient to go back and forth.Apparating from too far away isn't very safe.

Hailis sat down on an empty bench, and parents and students passed her by one by one.Among them were Walburga, Orion with Sirius and Regulus.

It was Sirius who noticed the other party first, because Hailis had already yawned boredly at this moment, and her eyes had already turned to other places.

He found an excuse to get rid of his parents and quietly came behind Hailis.Then--

Suddenly, she yelled in her ear.

Under Sirius' "exercise", rather than screaming, Hailis wanted to punch the person behind her.And she did.

But Sirius was already prepared, he stretched out his hand to catch Hayles' fist. "it's me!"

"I know!" Hailes said angrily, "Only you would do that!"

"What are you waiting for here?" Sirius asked curiously.

"I'm waiting for my mother." Hailis said lowly. "It's really troublesome to go back to Germany. Why wasn't I sent to Beauxbaton or Durmstrang?"

Sirius was a little unhappy after hearing Hayles' words: "Because there is no doubt that Hogwarts is the best magic school in the world."

Hailis looked at Sirius' serious expression and smiled: "...you're right."

A peddler pushing an ice cream cart happened to pass by, and Sirius suddenly asked, "As an apology for scaring you just now, may I buy you ice cream?"

Hayley looked at him a little surprised: "Do you have any Muggle coins?"

Sirius touched his pocket, shrugged and said helplessly: "No." But he changed the subject, "But we have Galleon, let's go and try."

The two children who had never been in contact with the Muggle world naturally couldn't tell the difference between a pound and a shilling, but anyway, the peddler accepted a Galleon for the sake of the two children, and then gave them a Ice cream cone.

When she returned to her seat with the ice cream, Hailis felt that she was at a loss no matter what she thought about it: "One Galleon is only one ice cream! Isn't it too expensive? That peddler still looks reluctant!"

Sirius thought for a while, and said very fairly, "It stands to reason that a Gallon can buy such a large box at Florin's Cold Drink Shop." He stretched out his hands to compare.

Hailis looked down and felt that it was really impossible to bite down on such an expensive ice cream. After thinking about it, she handed the ice cream to Sirius again.

Sirius was also polite, lowered his head and took a bite, because he was still curious about Muggle things.Especially motorcycles, he finds them particularly exciting.

"It's delicious, try it." Sirius pushed Hayles' hand back. "Anyway, it's worth a gallon of ice cream, so don't waste it."

What Sirius said made sense, so Hailis had no choice but to eat in small bites. But she was too embarrassed to eat it by herself, so the two children sat on the bench and shared the cone.

It just so happened that Hayles' mother, Mrs. Brad, arrived.

She was a little surprised that the boy was with Hailis, and she asked a little arrogantly: "Hailis, who is he?"

"He is..." Hailis stood up immediately.

"I'm Sirius Black, Mrs. Brad." Although he didn't like it, Sirius still learned good manners under his mother's strict urging.

However, Mrs. Brad gave Sirius the same feeling as Walburga, both of them were a bit domineering.Such an impression cannot be considered too good.

"He is my classmate at Hogwarts." Hailis quickly added.

"Black?" Mrs. Brad squinted her eyes. This surname reminded her of a classmate who used to be in Slytherin. "Is Walburga Black related to you?"

"She's my mother." Sirius wasn't surprised that they knew each other, because they were so similar.

Mrs. Brad didn't say anything else. She waved her wand and used the disappearing spell to deal with Hailis's luggage, but pulled Hailis to leave. "Let's take our leave first, little Black."

Hailis reached out her hand helplessly and waved at Sirius, and was taken away by apparition.

At this time, Regulus also ran over to Sirius: "Siris, why have you been in the bathroom for so long. Parents are going to be angry."

"I...uh, I have a little diarrhea." Sirius said briskly, with no pain on his face.He just ate a cone just now, and he was very happy. "But it's okay now, let's go."

But Sirius' good mood didn't last long, because on the way home Walburga seriously mentioned that they were going to some dance during the summer vacation.

—Super boring prom.Sirius said in his heart.Long before school, Sirius and Regulus had seen it many times, and they had to put on uncomfortable suits and deal with those who attended the ball with a smile on their faces.

Regulus was better at this than him, and he always slipped away without holding back for a while. It's more interesting than teasing the wild cats in the neighborhood.

"Siris, did you hear that?" Because he didn't hear Sirius' response, Walburga looked sternly at the eldest son who didn't let her worry.

"I heard it." Sirius turned his eyes from the window back to the car helplessly, "Prom, prom."

"Last time Druella said she wanted to see you, but where did you go? Every time the ball started, you disappeared..." Walburga began to repeat the ramblings many times.Sirius' ears were almost calloused.

Sirius' silence made Walburga feel even more angry, why couldn't he be as obedient as Regulus?

Merlin, Sirius felt that he was wrong just now.Mrs. Bullard was probably better than his mother, and though she was equally stern and haughty, at least she didn't seem to talk much.

Seeing Sirius' helplessness, Regulus secretly teased him in the back seat and made a small move. This made Sirius feel much better, and the two brothers quietly played with their wands in the back row, once again ignoring their mother's endless nagging.

Whatever it is, Sirius thought, next time I will take Regulus to the dance no matter what!

But what he didn't expect was that a person he didn't expect at all appeared at the ball, occupying all his eyes.
