[HP] King of Slytherin

Chapter 31 OWLs Exam

When you are concentrating on one thing, time always flies by.Almost in a blink of an eye, the weather became hotter, the scorching sun grilled the earth, and the lakeside became the students' favorite date place.June has just come quietly.

For fifth graders, it can only mean one thing, the OWLs are finally about to start.

On the morning of the first exam, Hyland took a lot of effort to get dressed. He stood in front of the mirror, put on a silk shirt, straightened his slightly messy shawl and long hair, and finally put on a school uniform robe that was not stained with a trace of dust. The person in the mirror showed a satisfied smile.

Walking to the Slytherin common room, the empty seats in the past were filled with people, and the little snakes gathered in groups of three or five.Everyone was dressed meticulously, as if invited to a grand banquet.

Blaise was flipping through the books quickly, murmuring words in a low voice, as if reciting.

Hyland sat next to him without bothering him. He took a book casually, flipped through it, and threw it aside.

He sat bored, watching the hands of the clock move one frame at a time, and listening to the sound of tick tock sounding regularly.

The waiting time was the longest, so Hyland simply took out the black leather notebook he had contacted with Lucius and pretended to be taking notes.

"Dear Mr. Malfoy, the OWLs exam is about to start. It is said that Mr. Dumbledore achieved admirable results - ten excellent, that is, full marks. I regret this, because it means that no matter how hard you try , I can't surpass him. Am I too arrogant? But no matter what, I will try my best to get good results. Please bless me, anyway, this cursed year is finally over."

After stopping for a while, he saw that the ink was gradually disappearing, and there was no new content. Knowing that Lucius was not there, he closed the notebook.

At nine o'clock, the little snakes put away their books one after another, and walked towards the auditorium under the leadership of Hyland.

The dining tables in the auditorium were removed and replaced with small tables and chairs. The students took their seats in order, dipped their quills in ink, and waited nervously for the parchment papers to be handed out.Professor McGonagall, standing on the teacher's desk, waved his wand, and hundreds of rolls of parchment floated in the air at the same time, and landed on everyone's desk precisely.

The gigantic hourglass turned upside down, and the sand inside began to fall one by one.

Hyland opened the test paper, looked at the test questions on it, and involuntarily saw Salazar's stern face in front of his eyes. He smiled slightly and wrote quickly, without a moment's hesitation.

After two hours, the written test ended.Everyone had a quick lunch and anxiously waited for the practical exam in the afternoon.

Hyland took out the black leather book and found Lucius's beautiful handwriting on it.

"I have no doubts about your excellence, my Randall. Give full play to your talents, and ignore what the examiners say. They are a group of conservatives who are half-footed to death. Stick to stereotyped magic and measure each student with the harshest standards. Let your wand work magic that shocks them, and it will give you unexpected good grades."

It seemed that Lucius' voice sounded in his ears, thinking of his arrogant tone, Hyland couldn't help showing a knowing smile.

"Hyland Yatra!"

Finally it was his turn. Hyland walked into the examination room and walked up to a gray-haired old man.

"Mr. Yatra, right?" the old man lowered his head and squinted at the roster for a while, "please let out a flame and let it stay in your hand."

Hyland easily tapped his wand, and a cluster of orange flames spewed out.He waved his wand again, and the flame instantly rose in temperature, changing from orange to bright yellow, followed by white. The surrounding air was distorted by the high temperature, but the flame's heating up was not over yet, and it turned sky blue again, and finally settled on purple.

The old man had to take a few steps back, the scorching heat made his hair curl.

Hyland stretched out his hand, and the purple flame obediently jumped onto his left hand, then rolled along the clothes, and circled happily a few times.

The corner of his mouth curled up, and his clothes were not damaged at all.

"Is that all right, sir?"

The examiner wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "Perfect control, it's so beautifully done, Mr. Yatra."

Hyland's wand twirled around, and the flames gradually dissipated.

When he walked out of the examination room, Hyland was in a good mood. He had a premonition that he had already got an "excellent".

For the next two weeks, every day is an exam.Hyland was very satisfied with his performance, except for Defense Against the Dark Arts. When he was using the defensive spell, one of his spells made a mistake, and he almost failed to defend against the attack. Although he immediately secretly used black magic to hit the three-headed dog, the examiner didn't notice his little move, but Hyland I was still depressed for a while.

The last exam was History of Magic, which was also one of Hyland's best subjects.

He quickly finished typing all the test questions, and then checked slowly until he felt that there was no problem, then he closed the test paper, propped his cheek and waited for the end of the test.Suddenly, a piercing scream came from a seat in front of him, which instantly dispelled Hyland's hazy drowsiness.

what happened?

He looked up—no one suspected he was cheating, because everyone was doing the same thing—a black-haired figure fell to the ground, panting for breath, and seemed to be very uncomfortable.

Harry?What's the matter with him?

The examiner supported Harry and led him out of the examination room worriedly. Another examiner walked in immediately and took over the job of supervising the examination room.

Hyland was vaguely uneasy, his eyesight was very good, and he saw the frightened expression on Harry's face just now, it didn't look like he was under too much pressure from the exam. What happened?

Merlin's socks! He sat anxiously on his seat, staring unblinkingly at the hourglass in front of him, and the unease in his heart became more and more intense. After the last grain of sand fell and the test papers were taken away, he immediately stood up and walked out of the auditorium.Blaise called him behind him, but Hyland didn't have time to stop, pretending not to hear, and went straight to Harry.

Hyland saw Hermione and Ron ahead, and they ran out anxiously.

"Hermione, Ron!" He caught up in two steps in three steps.

"Randall! Something must have happened to Harry," said Hermione quickly.

"I know, he should be in the medical wing, let's go there together." Hyland said briefly.

The three of them walked towards the medical wing together, and just halfway there, they saw Harry galloping towards him.

"Don't stand here stupidly, let's find a quiet place." Seeing the curious looks of the people around, Hyland said.

Harry gritted his teeth and nodded, walking down a few corridors, they finally found an empty classroom.

Hyland had just closed the door when he heard Harry say behind him, "Voldemort has captured Draco."

"What?" Hermione and Ron called at the same time.

"Impossible, Draco is clearly not in England!" This was Hyland.

"I don't know how he got caught," said Harry, looking unusually pale, "but I know exactly where. It's in the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries, where he has what he wants. The Malfoys know how Get it, he's torturing Draco!"

Hyland had calmed down, and he said slowly, "Wait a minute, Harry, how do you know this?"

"During the exam just now, I had a dream," said Harry quickly, "I saw it in the dream."

Hyland didn't care about the absurdity of the words, he said cautiously: "So, you have had similar dreams before?"

"Yes, he dreamed that my dad was bitten by a snake. Fortunately he saw it and my dad was saved," said Ron.

Hyland let out a breath, he finally understood why Dumbledore wanted Harry to learn Occlumency.

"You should know what that means!" he asked Harry sternly. "Why not Occlumency?"

"Of course I do!" said Harry irritably. "But it helps, doesn't it?"

Hyland said coldly: "You don't understand! This may be a trap!"

"What if it's not?" Harry exclaimed, "Draco is suffering, and I'm going to save him!"

It's not that he really doesn't understand, but if he delays for a minute or a second now, Draco will feel more pain. When he thought of the proud blond boy lying on the ground, writhing in pain, it was hard for him to convince himself not to do anything.

"You are not allowed to go." Hyland said firmly.

Hermione, who had been listening quietly, said now, "Harry, Randall is right, you can't go."

"What if I have to?" said Harry coldly.

"Dude, I support you." Ron said, "Now that you've made up your mind, I won't say more, but I'm going together."

Harry gave him a grateful look.

Hyland pulled out his wand, his blue eyes sparkled, "Harry, I don't want to fight with you."

Harry looked him straight in the eyes and said loudly, "Isn't Draco your friend? If Draco really fell into Voldemort's hands and died because you didn't save him, can you guarantee that you won't regret it in the future? Do you dare to bet on this possibility?"

For a moment, Hyland felt as if his heart had been stabbed, and the pain was unbearable.

If Draco died, it was all his fault.

Hyland's heart sank gradually, he couldn't imagine what Draco should do if he really died because of this.

They are friends, very good friends.

Slytherin will not give up his heart easily, but he will never betray a friend.

Hyland thought again, what would Lucius think of himself after learning about this?will he hate me

Thinking of Lucius' hateful eyes, Hyland's mind went blank, only one thought lingered.

Never let this happen!

He slowly lowered his wand and said, "Harry, you have won."

Harry said hurriedly, "We can't waste any more time, we're going now."

"No." Hyland said calmly, "We have to inform other people first."

"But..." Harry wanted to say more.

"Harry, our strength is too weak. If Draco really falls into Voldemort's hands, only the Order of the Phoenix can save him." Hermione said wisely, "But time is indeed too late, Randall, you go and inform Professor Snape, Harry, Ron, let's find Professor McGonagall, and we'll split up."
