Chapter 88

It was the office of the shooting room, and behind the glass window was a young boy with a gun in both hands. The boy had the eyes of a domestic rabbit, with bewildered and bluffed anger in the face of sudden threats.

Ivano looked the boy in the eye and didn't think he would actually shoot. He backed towards the door, intending to leave.

The boy said suddenly, "Save her!"

Ivano was taken aback, and the boy firmly added an honorific: "Please!" and turned his head to the side as a gesture.

Ivano realizes that there are other people around the boy.

I can't save anyone, Ivano thought. He has just killed the chief here and must leave immediately. In this extrajudicial place, the price to pay for killing may be more than just "going to trial."

Ivano took another step back.He could run away, he calculated, there was no way the kid would come out of that room and catch him.He was about to take action, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw a soldier appearing at the end of the corridor, walking towards him.

Ivano was startled, and in a split second, he withdrew his feet. Before the soldiers noticed him, he returned to the shooting room sensitively and pressed the close button. The metal sliding door closed slowly, covering the corpse and blood behind the door.Soldiers in the corridor passed the shooting room unknowingly.

"You just closed your only way out," the boy said. "The door needs permission to open." When Ivano looked at him, he was shocked, and he gripped the gun more tightly. It was a boy of fifteen or sixteen, with melancholy chestnut curly hair.He is still in the stage of changing his voice, his voice is a little immature, and he has a good upbringing from his pronunciation.

Ivano, who was temporarily safe, glanced at the door and cursed in his heart. The door of the shooting room is, as the boy said, a smart door, and the person with authority is lying on the ground in the form of a corpse.

"The lady was able to open the door," the boy said, "but she was shot."

Ivano turned around uncooperatively and began to figure out how to get the door open.

Ten seconds later—

Ivano hated to admit that he had nothing to do with the door.He had no choice but to walk towards the boy. Through the glass window, he saw a woman lying on the ground next to the boy.Can she open the door?

The boy opened the door of the room, but did not dare to approach Ivano, still pointing the gun at him.Ivano walked into the small room, knelt down beside the woman, and turned her body over to look at it.The woman was found to have been shot in the heart, but there was no blood around the hole in her clothing. He opened the woman's neckline, and sure enough, he saw the body armor on the inside. He touched the woman's jugular artery again, frowning slightly.

Seeing the subtle change in Ivano's expression, the boy asked worriedly, "Is she okay?"

The pulse was so strong that no help was needed. The boy probably has no common sense at all.he thinks.

"Put down the gun," Ivano said to the boy.

The boy hesitated for a second, and calmly put the gun on the side table: "Peggy said that when you need help from someone, you must first trust him."

The moment his finger was off the trigger, Ivano grabbed the gun and stuffed it into his pocket.

"A person who trusts others easily is not suitable for owning a gun." He explained under the boy's shocked gaze.

"I don't...I can't agree with this." The boy said with a tangled face.

Ivano's gaze returned to the woman. He took a self-defense taser from his pocket and slid it to the highest gear.Expressionlessly, he lifted the clothes from the woman's waist and shocked her waist.

There was a momentary pop, followed by a weak cry from the woman.

"My God...!" the boy exclaimed.

"Damn it!" The woman who was electrocuted from a coma cursed softly, and moaned while clutching her painful waist. She squinted at the electric shock baton in Ivano's hand: "Damn it!"

The boy said dissatisfiedly: "This is not what a gentleman should do!"

Gentleman Ivano put the electric shock batter back into his pocket, and politely said to the woman, "Please open the door here."

The woman sits up.Looking at the two people around him again, he asked, "Who are you? I'm... damn, I'm still in this damn place."

It was a lovely woman with curly hair like a doll, and a loli face that made her age impossible to guess.Hissing, she examined the small patch of electric shock on her lower back and complained that Ivano was being rough.

Hearing that the woman did not know the boy, Ivano glanced at him.

"Then, at least you don't want to kill me, can you understand that?" the woman asked.

"Open the door, I won't ask you anything else." Ivano said.

The woman asked warily, "Who told you I could open the door?" They looked at the boy at the same time, and the boy said nervously, "Hello, Esgarda. Please forgive my presumptuousness, my name is Aman. You helped me just now." Me, I know your name because of it. You saved my life, albeit unintentionally. So I must repay you."

Esgarda said to herself: "Is anyone still saying honorifics like this these days..." She thought hard, but she didn't remember how she helped the boy.She shrugged and decided to ignore the question.Standing up, he lazily walked to the gate, skillfully took out a small chip, and hacked into the security system.Ivano looked at her thoughtfully: "Are you a hacker?"

Esgarda shrugged: "No...even though you said you wouldn't ask me anything but...I work for an information company."

Her words stopped abruptly, and her face turned cold.A gun was pressed against her temple.

Esgarda rolled her eyes impatiently, and said quickly: "You infer that I am a hacker from the fact that I can open the door here, and reject my explanation." She said, "Isn't that too much?" It doesn't make sense anymore."

Ivano: "I want a military car. Help me fix the car's identification system."

Esgarda: "Damn it. Listen, this is the only way I can open the door." She reached out to Ivano, and Ivano's eyes fell on the ring on her hand. The moment he saw the ring clearly, he thought in his heart: Oops!

Esgarda quickly flipped the switch on the ring.A miniature electronic turtle ejected straight out and rushed to Ivano's chest.Ivano was caught off guard by the attack, an electric current went through his body, and he fell to the ground convulsed.

"Oh my god!" Aman exclaimed again.

"Huh, this thing from Charles is really useful." She blew on the ring, opened the door easily, and turned to Oman and said, "No matter who you are, follow me out as you want."

Ivano couldn't move for a moment, he just repeated in his heart: Charles?

"Wait..." he said with difficulty.

"Goodbye, baby." Esgarda blew him a kiss, opened the door, and walked out happily.

Her footsteps stopped at the door, and the smile on her face froze.

Outside the door, a group of soldiers who had just finished drinking were passing by. There were nearly 20 people. When they felt the door open, they all turned their heads in unison, looked at Esgarda, and through Esgarda, saw Lying in a pool of blood, their chief.

"Damn..." Esgarda cursed softly.
