[HP] Complex Touch

Chapter 23 Promise me

Two days: Friday

The ink on the parchment glistened.Restlessly, she waited for it to dry completely, then folded the parchment and put it in the envelope.Everything she had laid out for the plan was going very well.Ginny knows it won't be smooth sailing, that problems may arise, but she has to hope that she will be ready and her loved ones will be able to overcome the odds. After all, she wasn't Hermione.

Thinking of Hermione, Ginny smiled slightly. She was finally able to see Hermione, her family and Harry again. Her two closest friends, Luna and Neville, would tell her everything that happened. But not now, those things have nothing to do with Ginny for the time being.

When the ink dried, Ginny folded the two letters separately and put them in their respective envelopes. With a flick of her wand, she sealed them, and with another flick of her wand, the date on the envelope disappeared.

It was almost noon, and Ginny still had a lot to do.While Remus and James would certainly not be very pleasant with her, she had to talk to them. They haven't spoken to her since that incident with Severus, and they even turned and left immediately when they saw her in the hallway before class this morning. After Ginny came to their plane, this was the first time Remus and James had explicitly chosen Sirius over her.

Although this incident made her sad, it also gave her some hope that these two boys would help Sirius adjust after she left.If he didn't hate her.

Ginny put the letter in her bag and got out of bed.She looked in the mirror and was about to leave the dormitory, but when she saw herself in the mirror, she froze. After the first period, she sat on the bed all morning, her school uniform crumpled and her tie crooked, half-tucked in as she hurriedly buttoned her blouse.A knee-high sock began to slide down. She got ink on her hands as she rewrote the letter on the parchment.

She has heavy bags under her eyes because she couldn't sleep at all last night. She tossed and turned, thinking about the Marauders, and what they might think of her.It occurred to Ginny that Sirius might hate her, and she had no time to explain now.She thought that he would not know where she had gone for many years, and then she would re-enter his life so suddenly.

I don't know if he really worried and cared where she went.

When she finally fell asleep, she would dream that she couldn't save Sirius. She would dream that he was standing there just beyond the curtain, but she just couldn't reach it.Then a tall figure would appear, Tom with the hard eyes, and he would laugh at her.

Then she would wake up with a start and continue to toss and turn.

Her messy braids were undone, and her skin appeared to be very pale. She found herself biting her lower lip nervously. She is out of time.

Ginny turned and left the dormitory. She was going to find James and Remus and had no time to groom herself. It may take her a lot of time to get them to talk to her.Ginny climbed the dormitory stairs to the Hufflepuff common room, looked around, and walked out.Dorcas and Marlene told her they were going to the library with some friends. They have a paper due on Monday.

"You're crazy to delay this paper," Dorcas had told her before, as she grabbed Ginny's hand and tried to drag her out of the dormitory. "McGonagall already criticized you for being late for class yesterday, and your Transfiguration class was terrible, you are digging your own grave."

Ginny explained as calmly as she could that she would finish the paper later today, and if she couldn't finish tonight, there would be the weekend. They all believed her.

Ginny rubbed her eyes, leaning against the corridor wall.Where was she going to find Remus and James? What if Sirius was with them? She frowned, stomach clenched. If only she had the Marauder's Map now.

"Miss Stiles!"

Ginny turned her head and looked in the direction of the voice in surprise.Professor McGonagall pursed her lips and hurried towards her, as if she knew what Ginny was thinking just now.

"professor?"

McGonagall walked up to Ginny, stared at her sharply, and pursed her lips.

"Headmaster Dumbledore would like to see you in his office."

Ginny raised her eyebrows.

"now?"

Mag narrowed his eyes slightly, and Ginny immediately shook her head.

"Okay." She said before McGonagall. "I'll go now."

"The password is a lollipop," Meg told her. "Don't make him wait for you, Stiles."

Ginny nodded and walked in the opposite direction. After walking some distance, Ginny turned her head and was surprised to find that she was still standing where she was.McGonagall is a smart woman, and she will send Ginny back in time.

She made her way to Dumbledore's office, trying not to think about the time she was losing. She came to the statue, said the password, and walked up the stairs.Ginny knocked on the door, not surprised to find that Dumbledore opened it for her.

"Hello, Miss Stiles." Dumbledore greeted her and asked her to sit on the seat opposite the table.

"Hello, Professor," Ginny replied.

Ginny sat down, crossing her ankles, and waited for Dumbledore to sit down across from her.He folded his hands on the table and looked at her with sad eyes.

"You have only one day to say goodbye to your friends," Dumbledore said to her.Ginny's eyes fell on the old clock on the table, a hand was ticking. "It's time for you to tell everyone your excuse for leaving."

Ginny looked into Dumbledore's eyes in bewilderment.

"You can't just leave, kid. I may have said it a little seriously when I called you into my office, but you have to have a reason for leaving. After all, if you have disappeared suspiciously now, you and others will be looking for you and you in the future." It's not good to hurt you."

"But, you said I would just leave. What should I say?" Ginny asked stiffly.

She doesn't like to discuss leaving.

"Your aunt has decided to take you away from Hogwarts, and she's taking you on a trip with her... needless to say. You can say you'll write letters, you'll keep in touch. You've got to put on a show, Stiles Mademoiselle. Because as long as you act, your friends' memories of you will fade after the initial loss."

His words stung her, and Ginny turned to look out the window, feeling pain in her eyes. Will James and Lily forget her?Would Remus and Sirius think of her for the first time when they saw her younger?

"Is that why you called me here?" Ginny asked Dumbledore softly.

He sighed, and out of the corner of her eye she saw him shake his head.

"I hope something can be done to alleviate your pain. But you came here for a mission, and it's time to leave now. In any case, your disappearance must be logical, otherwise it will cause an uproar among your friends."

When she looked at Dumbledore, he was looking down at her too.

"Can I go now?" she whispered, her heart pounding. "I'm going to meet my friends, my time is limited..."

"One more thing," he said before she was fully on her feet.

Ginny sat back down again.

"I don't know how much you know about time travel, Miss Stiles. I want you to know how much pain your body and mind will suffer when you return to where you came from. Traveling through the future is more difficult for your body and mind than going back in time The influence of thought is more violent. No matter how powerful you are, my child, you will be hit hard. Traveling into the future has caused disaster several times. So when we meet tomorrow, you must be prepared emotionally and physically. You must reach safety somewhere. Someone has to find you right away, and if they don't..."

Dumbledore's voice dropped meaningfully, and Ginny nodded, licking her dry lips.

"I understand, Headmaster," she told him.

He was silent for a moment, then finally nodded.Dumbledore seemed as tired as she was, and his face had grown older.Maybe he, like her, was worried about her leaving.
