HP Cronos

Chapter 7 Love

Tom Riddle, who has only been a teaching assistant at Hogwarts for more than a year, has become the most popular teacher at Hogwarts, especially among girls.

Just like boys always follow beautiful girls, young girls have no resistance to handsome young professors. In the matter of beauty, there is no difference between men and women.

Besides being handsome, Tom Riddle is equally good. Not only is he proficient in potions, but he is also proficient in various other subjects. This gave his admirers the opportunity to approach him every day by asking questions, and Riddle's assistant teacher would always give patient and detailed answers.

All in all, Tom Riddle's performance at Hogwarts is perfect, and he has received unanimous praise from students to teachers. Even Gryffindor students don't dislike him. There is no doubt that he will be in Slug Professor Horn retired as the new Potions Professor, the youngest ever. The only person who has reservations about him is probably Headmaster Dumbledore.

After seeing off a Ravenclaw girl, Tom Riddle finally had a chance to be alone.

Four years, after the Chamber of Secrets incident, he spent four full years disguising himself to dispel Dumbledore's suspicions. For this reason, he did not hesitate to become lovers with a mudblood.Do not hesitate to deal with stupid students and their stupid questions every day. This time is enough for him to thoroughly study several exquisite black arts.He also couldn't reveal his thoughts to the Hogwarts students, because Dumbledore's old fox was too cunning, and he saw all the clues.

That was the price Tom Riddle had to pay for staying at Hogwarts, and it was a price well worth it.

This school was a treasure trove, and he did get some more information from it that he didn't get when he was a student. Therefore, he now has a stronger interest in the relics of the four founders.Perhaps they have other, greater uses than Horcruxes.

But the old bearded bee still wouldn't believe him.He allowed him to stay at Hogwarts, not so much as a matter of trust, but as a way of keeping him under his watch. He seemed determined that he wouldn't dare to do anything outrageous here, and if he did, Dumbledore would make him punish. This time it won't be just the wardrobe that's burning.

However, Dumbledore also had things he didn't know.thought Riddle. He couldn't help showing a smug smile, which cracked a gap in the gentle mask he kept on his face.

There was a knock on the door, and it was Professor Slughorn who walked in.His short and fat body squeezed into the door, with a smooth smile on his face as always. He put down the newly handed in paper, looked around, and said, "Isn't Miss Gray here? Could it be that she can't find your office?"

"Nora? Is she here?"

"Yes, I just met her in the corridor. She said she came to see you, and I happened to come to you too. I planned to come with her, but she said she had other things to do." Sla Professor Ghorn said.

"She might want to go and say hello to Headmaster Dumbledore." Riddle said calmly, "Thank you for letting me know, Professor."

Professor Slughorn had always looked favorably on this talented student, chatted with him for a few more words, and left.

Before solving Dumbledore's problem, there is another person to solve first.

He looked at the photo on his desk, and the girl in it winked at him.

"I told you," he whispered, "you can choose to know nothing."

"But you know I hate pretending I don't know anything," said the girl named Nora Gray in the picture.

Nora happened to meet Professor Slughorn in the corridor, she made some perfunctory words, found an excuse to slip away, and went straight to the principal's office.

After she tried "chilled lemon juice" and "Zizi honey candy" at the door of the principal's office but failed, Fuzhi mentally said "roasted chicken with honey sauce" and successfully entered the principal's office.

Dumbledore was already in the office, but deliberately refused to open the door for her.

He still enjoys some innocuous pranks. But Nora was not in the mood to cooperate.

"I have something to tell you." Nora sat across from Dumbledore, wringing her fingers uneasily. "It's very important."

It is related to the future of the entire wizarding world.

Dumbledore stopped smiling, looking at her with his clear blue eyes that seemed to see everything.

"Since the fifth grade, you have rarely chatted with me so openly. It's really nostalgic." Dumbledore said slowly.

"Fifth grade?"

"After that incident, the bad incident that caused the death of two students, Principal Dippet was dismissed." Dumbledore wiped his glasses.

"Causing the death of two students?"

"Yes." Dumbledore's blue eyes sparkled with wisdom, "two Slytherin students, Pollocks Avery and Algie Carrow, whose parents have issued a letter to the Ministry of Magic for this matter." and that student, Hagrid, was eventually expelled."

Nora remembered.

In the fifth grade, two students died unexpectedly, Slytherin, Pollocks Avery and Algie Carrow.

Of course she knew them, and those two Slytherin boys had replaced Abthaxter Malfoy as one of the people she hated the most in all of Hogwarts. She swore she would never forgive them, for her friend Nagini.

For the next two years, she relentlessly troubled them, embarrassing them in public, screwing up their exams, and tarnishing their names, just as Tom had predicted.

But that's all, she couldn't think of any better way.

until they die.

One night, they did not return to the dormitory, and the bodies were found the next day. One was in the bathroom, and the other was near the Forbidden Forest. They were as stiff and cold as sculptures.Without exception, they all had distorted expressions of fear on their faces, as if they had seen something extremely terrifying before dying.

No one would doubt Tom Riddle, he behaved normally that night, stayed in the dormitory and never went out, as the entire Slytherin students could attest to.No one has connected this to the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets. After all, the deceased were two purebloods.Because of this, Hogwarts received strong protests from the families of the deceased.

Only Nora was disturbed.

The one who died near the Forbidden Forest, where she and Tom had found Nagini's body.

Tom has been looking for some information, Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, clearing the mudblood of the basilisk.

"You want to get rid of me? Great descendant of Slytherin." Nora had said so unhappy.

"Just for fun," said Tom. "Legends are legends after all, and I don't think a basilisk has the brains to tell who's Muggle-born and who's not."

She remembered what Tom Riddle had said.

"Too light, Nora, too light," he said.

The memory sent Nora shivering under the covers.

The real culprit was determined to be an eight-eyed tarantula, the giant half-breed Gryffindor student named Hagrid who kept him in Hogwarts was expelled, they broke his wand, and there was no more school will accept him.It was Tom Riddle who revealed the truth, for which he received a Hogwarts Medal for Special Contributions.

Nora watched from a distance as they sent Hagrid out of Hogwarts. The giant boy in the lower grade cried very sadly.

The only one who believed in Hagrid was Professor Dumbledore, who had been fighting for Hagrid, but the deceased's family used their power to put pressure on the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts.

"Miss Grey." Dumbledore called to her in the corridor.

"Yes, Professor Dumbledore." A look of panic flashed across her face.

"You haven't been looking quite right lately," said the professor. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

"I'm fine, Professor," Nora said. "It's just... you know, this incident has us a little scared."

"Really?" Dumbledore's blue eyes swept across her face.

"Yes, Professor."

"Do you have any clues about this incident?" he asked.

"I don't know anything." Nora heard herself reply clearly. "Can I go, Professor? Potions class is about to start."

Then she turned around hastily and ran away as if fleeing.

Dumbledore looked thoughtful.

Nora, who withdrew from the memories, turned pale.

"He did it," said Nora. "He opened the Chamber, and he released the Basilisk, and he directed it to kill the two men."

Dumbledore didn't answer, but looked at Nora's earring. He flicked his wand, and the golden bird flew into his sleeve.

"Brilliant spying magic," said Dumbledore, "but it's too conspicuous when used on earrings."

Peep the magic!Nora was taken aback.Every move from last night to now has been monitored by Riddle.

He had been suspicious for a long time, from the moment he saw her at Malfoy Manor.Nancy, who was as slow as Nancy, could tell something was wrong with her, let alone Voldemort, who was suspicious.

"Where are we, Miss Nora Gray?" Dumbledore asked.

"Speaking of... that student who was wronged." Nora came back to her senses, "You must know who the real culprit is."

"I do have an unfounded suspicion," said Dumbledore.

"If I tell you that your suspicion is correct, and the person you suspect has committed more than one crime, do you think that a sinful soul like him has a chance of redemption?" Nora said, she was eager She looked at Dumbledore anxiously, longing for the wise man to give her an answer.

"He still has love in his heart," said Dumbledore. "Even though he himself doesn't realize it, it does remain in his heart."

"Love? You're kidding."

"Not that I boast, but I think I know him better than many people," said Dumbledore. "I have watched him for ten years, since I first saw him. Tom Riddle has many bad traits, which have been gradually revealed since his childhood. He may show weakness for a while, but he will never really give up. He will not tolerate a person who he despises by his side. You know better than I that he would like to stay. Give your reasons, Nora."

"No, Headmaster Dumbledore, you don't understand." Nora shook her head, "He is a demon, he will destroy everything. There is no 'love' in his heart."

You said it yourself, Voldemort has no love, which makes him extremely powerful and ultimately leads to his demise.
