HP Cronos

Chapter 30 Christmas Ball

He appeared in Godric's Hollow without a sound, and no one noticed him.

In this valley where wizards and Muggles live together, people walk on the road unconsciously.

A child ran wild down the street and bumped into him.

"I'm sorry," said the child.

"It's okay," the man said.

The child raised his head, and the man wrapped in a black cloak had a young and handsome face.

Any Order of the Phoenix or Death Eater here who had masked him would know what that face meant.

But the child knows nothing. He shivered simply because of the man's breath, even though there was a smile on that pale face.

He entered the chapel, and a white rose took shape in his hand.He placed it gently in front of the tombstone.

"It's finally beginning," he said. "Perhaps, it should be over, too."

Tom Riddle is one of the most powerful Dark wizards of all time.

The name is little known.

His more widely known title is rarely dared to be called.

In the field of black magic, he has indeed reached an unattainable level. His evilness made it impossible for Dumbledore to be sure of defeating him.

Who else can stop him?

Regulus silently watched his back.He knew that the people sitting on the bench had already noticed his arrival.

"Come here, Regulus," Riddle said softly.

Regulus approached and stopped behind two rows of chairs. He bowed: "At your call, master."

He looked past Voldemort to the tombstone.

Very little is known about Tom Riddle's past. And Regulus was one of those few people.

He has to thank him for having a sister who is crazy about the man in front of him, her eyes follow him, every corner.

"Head up," he said.

Regulus looked up.

"Your brother has caused us a lot of trouble these days."

Regulus couldn't guess any emotion from his tone.

"He is no longer a member of the Black family," he replied. "Black will always be your most loyal servant."

"Loyalty? Of course I believe in your loyalty." Voldemort said lazily. "And now, there is an excellent opportunity to prove your loyalty."

"Your brother is the secret keeper of the Potters who live in this valley." Voldemort said, "I want you to use all means to bring him to me."

Regulus lowered his eyes: "Yes."

"One more thing," said Voldemort, impromptu. "I need a house-elf."

"……Yes."

Regulus Black was not Lucius Malfoy, and he naively calculated his own interests. He knew very well that Voldemort didn't need excuses and bargaining, and that joining the Death Eaters was a point of no return.

With Voldemort, there is no such thing as trust.

In this glance, Regulus clearly saw that the black ring that Voldemort always wore on his finger was missing.

And he, just now, saw a woman with a ring strung into a necklace around her neck.

"As I recall, you haven't given me anything yet. No birthday presents, and no Christmas presents."

"Hello, hello! Did you hear that?"

"What do I want? Let me think..."

"Don't be so impatient!"

"No, I don't want it, I can buy those myself. I want a gift, you understand? Gifts are different."

"Okay, I want flowers."

"Girls like flowers...of course I do too."

"What kind of flower? It's up to you."

"I'm going to herbalism class, bye."

"In short, remember the presents at Christmas!"

When Nora woke up, she met two big light bulb eyes.

The tables were turned and it was she who was now bound and watched.

"You're awake!" said the house-elf. "Master Regulus told me to watch you, and he told me to tell you not to make any noise unless you wanted to wake the lady."

"Another lady here?" asked Nora.

"Kreacher!" shouted a hoarse old voice, "Kreacher!"

"Yes, yes! Immediately, ma'am!" Kreacher responded hastily. It hurried out the door.

Nora could hear the lady still complaining dissatisfiedly: "You lazy slug! Kreacher! You need to be called so many times by the master!"

Then the elf apologized in shame.

"Where's Regulus?" Madame asked.

"The young master has gone out."

Nora struggled a few times in vain while pricking up her ears to listen. The rope was tied so tightly that it could not be untied without magic. And her wand was, as expected, missing.

"Hope he's off to business—must have been to see the lord. Oh, I told him he should have been more proactive, he should have shown the lord Blake's sincerity. We should be better than the mean Malfoy got more!" Madam said excitedly, "Black... ahem... Black's glory..."

The elf patted the lady on the back.

"I know Regulus is a good boy," said the lady, "unlike the other..." She let out a snort.

Norah found that the resurrection stone ring she hung on her chest was missing, and the donkey skin bag Hagrid had given her was also missing. Looking around, she didn't find those things within sight. Now she is truly penniless.

After a while, the complaining lady finally fell asleep. The loyal house-elf came back to watch Nora with those bell-like eyes, and murmured curse words in a low voice: "Vicious witch, how dare you treat the great Master Regulus... yes! Noble Black for acting like this...she must be a filthy Mudblood...filthy, filthy little brute..."

In terms of sarcasm and rich vocabulary, Blake is far better than Malfoy. If Nora hadn't been tied up and couldn't move, she would have beaten this guy up.

Fortunately, this torture did not last long.Regulus had returned at dawn, when Nora, exhausted by Kreacher's incessant swearing, was curled up in a corner.

Regulus came in with a small vial in his hand, which contained a colorless and odorless potion.

Well, this time it's the real Veritaserum.

He squeezed Nora's chin, roughly forced her to open her mouth, and poured three drops into it.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"Nora Gray, a seventh-year Hogwarts student." The words came out of his mouth uncontrollably.A quill fluttered up, faithfully recording everything she said on the parchment.

Regulus paused for a moment, staring at Nora's face, scanning carefully, and then asked: "What is your purpose?"

"I'm going to destroy the Horcruxes and stop Tom Riddle."

"Why are you here?"

"Because Leon Hussey sent me here with a portkey. He said old friends of the family lived near Grimmond Place."

"How did you get these things?" Regulus asked, and he brought Nora's destroyed Horcruxes before her eyes one by one.

The potency of Veritaserum hit a snag.Nora felt as though her mind was being torn apart by two forces. She replied intermittently: "They... used to be Horcruxes... were... destroyed by me..."

"How did you get it?" Regulus asked again, shaking the resurrection stone ring.

"He... sent..." Nora's face twisted.

"One last question." Regulus took a deep breath, "What is your relationship with that person?"

Some kind of power beyond potion made Nora clenched her teeth, sweating coldly, unable to utter a word. The Cruciatus Curse is no more painful than this.Fortunately, Regulus didn't ask any more questions.

He sank into the back of the sofa, looking up at the high ceiling. He didn't say a word for more than ten minutes before the veritaserum expired. Then he looked at Nora, and said with a gloomy face, "I think we can work together, Nora Gray."

Christmas, another Christmas at Hogwarts.

The snow-covered castle is as beautiful as a fairyland city.

This Christmas she was finally old enough to attend the Yule Ball. The prepared dress was put in the box, the sky blue satin was so beautiful that she didn't dare to wear it.

Her bed was full of gifts from her classmates and family members, but she couldn't find the one she wanted most.

She was a little angry, no, very angry. So she didn't say a word to that person all day.But how many words can a Slytherin boy and a Gryffindor girl talk in a day?Although Nora blew up the cauldron intentionally or unintentionally in Potions class, the man solved the problem with just a wave of his hand, and even the final work was highly praised by Professor Slughorn.

But there will be a Yule Ball tonight.

She asked a classmate who was proficient in beauty charms to get her hair done, put on a dress, and walked down the Gryffindor tower.

The first time she saw him, she was concentrating on a portrait among the group of slightly nervous boys looking forward to him under the stairs. He was very conspicuous because of his tall stature, but also because of his nonchalant expression, like some tired husband waiting for his wife who came out of the dressing room.

But her anger subsided.

At least he's here.

She always felt that she had no lack of courage, but now she dared not go down the stairs.

What will he say?Maybe mock her for not being home.

He finally raised his head and met her gaze.

Then he held out his hand to her—

Nora woke up with a start.

Many, many times she saw that hand in front of her face.It was a silent invitation. She seemed to hear Tom whispering in her ear.

But she couldn't hold his hand.Just like Orpheus couldn't look back at Eurykepus, just like Adam and Eve couldn't eat the forbidden fruit.Once you hold that hand, you will fall into doom.

Nora covered her head, wondering what the so-called eternal pain was.So far, it seems that dancing with Tom Riddle is not only not a bad memory, but maybe a little happy.

But one thing is for sure—everyone who gets involved with him ends badly.Nora strongly suspects that this is the main reason why she is so miserable in every timeline.

Nora suddenly remembered the kiss that Riddle once gave her, and the memory with the cold breath of the night made her feel like she was back under the dim streetlights on the streets of Paris. She remembered the twinkling stars, the pedestrians passing by, and Riddle's pure black pupils. She remembers him whispering in her ear, but she doesn't remember where this memory exists. Those mixed memories are intertwined, the same real and the same illusory.

The author has something to say: I watched "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2" the day before yesterday

The four friends saw that two fell asleep, and felt that the Douban score was a bit inflated.

I still admire Depp's charm, which vividly sets off the disfigured old V as a hysterical manic mental retardation.

Laotang suffers because he appeared too early. After all, HP is children’s literature. Rowling couldn’t write a deep and pure villain back then. Harry doesn't even have to play at a higher strategic level.

I was shocked when Grindelwald made the prediction. In 1927, there were still many scientists who did not recognize the theory of relativity. GG is definitely a physicist delayed by magic.

Relying on the faces of Depp and Jude Law, it is a foregone conclusion that the old devil will crush the new devil

The reason why I wrote about Tom Riddle is because I think this role is a pity. He has a black acting style from a young age, and he is a genius who is a genius in school.

Under the eyes of Lao Deng, there were actually established early Death Eaters, who engaged in many vicious incidents, planted blame, murdered and robbed a master. The Room of Response was only discovered ten years later. He single-handedly opened the secret room and made his ancestral home clear with a middle name. The charm is even more Max. Professors, classmates, bosses and clients, even Ravenclaw’s daughter can handle it, a piece of soul Fragments can confuse Harry and his wife.

According to the normal track of development, Brother Cruise should not be crushed in such an all-round way, so the setting of this article is that the more Laotang's soul is divided, the lower his intelligence and inhumanity
