HP Cronos

Chapter 19 Nick LeMay

The black tide spread upwards, washing her into the long river of time.

It's too late, it's too late. She wants to see him sooner.Nora thought desperately.

The tide seemed to understand what she meant, and slowed down the speed of washing.Nora swam back up the river, her tears mingling with the water.

Nothing will change.Nora thought desperately.Even if the process is changed, the result remains the same. What can her meager power change?

like.A voice told her.Nothing can cross the river of time, only love.

What's the meaning?Nora thought perplexed. She was then sucked into a raging eddy just below the surface.

A man in a black hood sits alone in this bistro in France.

The boss with a big belly glanced in his direction.

He was a foreigner, and from his accent, he seemed to be from England.

It was Dumbledore, a wizard from England who defeated Grindelwald and saved the European continent in panic. This made the boss feel good about the British. So when he came to inquire about Nicole Flamel, the boss had nothing to hide.

"Honestly, there are so many people who come to see him because of his name," the boss told him, "but no one knows exactly where he lives.

All we know is that he, and his wife - yes, a Muggle, live around here.I think he must have put a strong spell on his dwelling for protection. In all this time, I've never seen anyone actually find him, or learn from him the secret of the Philosopher's Stone. "

The man thanked him politely and sat in his seat drinking his gin.

The young man had a handsome face, but he put on his hood and sat silently in the corner. This was a signal, and several girls who were eager to try were disappointed.

However, there will never be fewer girls who become more and more courageous as they get frustrated.A dusty woman walked into the tavern and sat directly opposite the man.

"Can I sit here?" asked the woman, ordering a glass of wine. She faltered in French.

Another Englishman, thought the proprietor.

"There are still many empty seats." The man replied coldly.

The woman pretended not to hear at all.She smiled and said, "I know you—we were in the same class at Hogwarts. Remember me? My name is Nora Gray." She held out her hand to him: "Nice to meet you here, Tom Riddle."

For the third time Tom Riddle was dreaming of that face.

The first time was a month ago when I made a horcrux from a locket and quit my job at Bojin Blog to leave the UK.

The second time was two weeks ago, and Jinbei also became one of his Horcruxes.

The last time, today, he had just arrived in this rumored town where Nicole Flamel lived in seclusion.

Tom Riddle lacked interest in that well-known alchemist in the wizarding world. He has found a better one than the Philosopher's Stone

A longer-lasting way to achieve immortality. So, he didn't intend to waste time looking for him.

He was surprised that he still remembered the owner of that face.Probably a classmate from Hogwarts, an impudent female Gryffindor.

Slytherins and Gryffindors take Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts classes together.Tom's impression of her remained as a Gryffindor who could easily mess up the Potions class.

Other than that he couldn't recall any particular interaction between them.

If it hadn't been confirmed that no one could poison his face without anyone noticing, he would suspect that someone had added a small dose of love potion to his food.

The purpose of his stay here was not Nicole Flamel, but something else, something more charming than the Philosopher's Stone. Before he heads to the forests of Albania, he has to unravel the mystery in front of him.

Then, the face from the dream appeared in front of him alive.

"My name is Nora Gray." She held out her hand to him. "Nice to meet you here, Tom Riddle."

He laughed and held her hand: "Nice to meet you, Miss Nora Gray."

He felt her hands trembling.Apparently, she was not as calm as she appeared.

"Are you going on a trip?" She quickly withdrew her hand and asked casually.

"Sure," Tom replied.

"Coincidentally, me too, traveling," she said, drinking a tumbler of beer. "I want to go southeast, the Balkans, to Albania. What about you?"

"What a coincidence," said Tom, getting up. "I'm going to Germany."

After he walked out of the tavern, he heard the girl shouting behind him: "Wait! Wait!"

Tom stopped and waited for her to catch up, panting.

"Anything else?"

"I suddenly changed my mind." She raised her head and smiled at him. "I think it's a good idea to go to Germany. I've always wanted to watch the Heidelberghounds live."

"I think we can go together." She blinked, "You know, drop by."

Riddle scanned the face of the person in front of him.

She doesn't know how to hide, she has no city. And, obviously, she was afraid of him.The fear made him feel that she had seen all the despicable crimes he committed.

Tom Riddle knows how outraged these so-called "normal" people are by his own truth, but if he has enough power, anger will become fear and submission.

Including the face of the lady in front of me.

"Sorry," he said, "I don't think we're on the way."

He turned to leave. Nora looked at his back and hesitated for two seconds whether there would be any serious consequences for stalking Voldemort.

"You!" The boss caught up aggressively and said in English, "You haven't paid the bill yet!"

Nora touched the purse, showed an embarrassed smile, and said in fluent French, "I forgot to bring the money... can I... work to pay for it?"

The boss stared at her like a bulldog with wide-eyed eyes, breathing heavily from his nostrils.

Then Nora went back to her normal job as a waitress and doing dishes on the side. After clearing out the last basket of dishes, Nora wolfed down the little leftovers and lay down on a straw bed in the warehouse where her boss had mercifully allowed her to sleep.

tomorrow. She thought in a daze as she fell asleep.Tomorrow, go find Tom Riddle and follow him no matter what.

That night, without accident, he dreamed of that face again.

She said, "I'm Nora Gray." She held out her hand to him: "I've heard of you. You're Tom Riddle." smile.

He forced himself to wake up.

Riddle lost sleepiness. He got up, poured himself a glass of wine, sat at the table, and sipped it slowly.

He's been having a terrible headache lately. This should be a side effect of the split soul.Of course, compared to the huge benefits brought by the Horcrux, this pain is insignificant.

Under the dim light, he turned the golden cup in his hand, and there was a letter H at the bottom of the cup.

He knew there must be some secret in the cup too, like a Slytherin locket.Maybe he shouldn't have killed that Hufflepuff Smith so early, as a Hufflepuff she might know something.

No, he didn't regret it.Such emotions will not appear in his heart. The Muggle skin was reflected in the old woman's salivating eyes, and the mockery and disgust in his smile could not be seen.He smiled as she drank the afternoon tea with toppings.

When she fell, disbelief and malice were written in her eyes.

Riddle stepped over her lifeless, heavy body, taking the gold cup and locket into his arms.

Yes, these will be his.The relics of the four founders, only this is worthy of his future glory.

The eyes of the corpse stared fixedly, and it was not until the last moment that she understood what the soul looked like beneath the exterior she had been coveting all this time.

Her house-elf came in with a tray, squealing piercingly.

House-elves, dirty, lowly creatures, but they always have a use.he thinks.Cast a spell and hit her.

He has done too many things like framing.

Tom Riddle stepped out of the house.

There will be a long time when he will not be in the UK.But sooner or later he will come back.In a new, stronger form, not a poor orphan. He'd give up the skin like he'd given up the name Tom Riddle.

After drinking the last drop of wine, Tom Riddle got up.

Sooner or later he will find out the secret.

tomorrow.he thinks.Tomorrow, he will set off. This will be Voldemort's great journey.

The town is famous for Nicole Flamel. The loudest rumor was that Nicole Flamel lived in the forest on the edge of the town.It was not enough to think that visitors throughout the ages had scoured every corner of that forest, and that perhaps Nicole Flamel no longer lived there.

Nora is very eye-catching on the streets of France.Because it is true that unkempt young women like her are not often seen. But she didn't seem to notice it at all, she stretched her neck and looked around.

From a distance, she finally spotted the slender figure and hurriedly chased after him.

Tom Riddle walked into a cemetery, a wizard's cemetery.

When Nora walked in, he was nowhere to be seen. This cemetery is like a maze. After walking a few steps, a tall tombstone stood up and blocked the road.Following the induction, she circled in the forest of black and white tombstones.

Fortunately, in the end, she saw the back of Tom Riddle's black head.Without thinking about anything else, she called to him, "Hey! Riddle! Tom Riddle!"

The person in front stopped.

"What a coincidence," said Nora dryly. "I didn't expect you to be here."

Tom Riddle turned around with an unreadable look in his eyes. But immediately, he showed a smile: "It is indeed a coincidence, Miss Nora Gray."

After many painful lessons, Nora no longer dared to be careless in front of Tom Riddle.

"Actually... I got lost in here." Nora said, "I finally saw someone, so I was a little excited."

"Just right, I'm ready to leave," Riddle said, "We can go out together."
