Chapter 1 Prologue: Darkness Falls

The sky in the distance is a smoky red, and the continuous mountains are green in this season.

William sat by his wooden house and took out an easel—however, what was painted was not the scene in front of him, but a large swath of dazzling red. William painted large swaths of red on it as if invisible, and then looked at it again. Staring at his own painting in a daze.Suddenly someone covered William's eyes from behind.

William was taken aback then threw his head back and took a deep breath, "Stop it, Jacob. It's just the two of us here, are you a six year old boy trying to play 'Guess who I am? ' game? What a childish ghost".

"William, don't look," Jacob's deep voice sounded from behind, and William hastily pulled his head out of that warm embrace.

"I said, you can't control me. I'm your brother. You should be playing with your mechanical watches in your house at this time, shouldn't you?" The fragility that appeared on William's face before seemed to be just an illusion, just like the morning The dew on the grass and trees flashed by.

Jacob's hand touched William's shoulder, as if it was something precious, and then pressed it lightly and comfortingly, "Okay, I'm going to work, I'll cook later."

Hearing the sound of Jacob's leaving footsteps, the strength in William's body seemed to be taken away.

"I really can't bear this kid pretending to be an adult, but maybe he is already an adult. What am I angry about? Let's have a good dinner with him tonight," William thought.

William put away the paintings and went to see a hunting dog tied behind the house, "Hey, Barry, come with me for a walk." Barry wagged his tail and jumped up high, wanting to hug and hold one high. look.William stroked its dog's head, "Well, let's eat deer tonight, let's go."

When he came back, it was just getting dark, and William led Barry into the house, with a long-lost smile on his face—while hanging the shotgun on the wall, he took off his coat.

Two glasses of fruit wine were poured on the table, along with a little salad and mushroom soup.

"Venison tonight!" William shrugged.

"Venison tonight." Jacob put on his apron.

"Wow woof woof woof", Barry turned around a few times.

The candle flickered gently, and then gradually extinguished.

"Ah" - William curled up and let out a cry of pain.

"No, you can't let Jacob know." With this last thought, William passed out amid pain and dizziness.

Jacob, who was sleeping next door, frowned slightly, turned over and fell asleep again.

The quiet night fell into darkness.

began to descend.

The author has something to say:

This is equivalent to a brief introduction to the background of the protagonist, and it is also to shape the basic character (maybe this is a growth personality??)

Under the tranquility, there is a sense of disharmony that cannot be concealed. What the brothers have experienced before will slowly unfold later.Anyway, William is wearing it.

In the next chapter, we will enter the world of fairy tales (Hoo Hoo)
