Chapter 84 Desire for Rain (1)
Slytherin saw Gryffindor again at the lunch table the next day.
"Salazar," Gryffindor said bluntly without moving the plate in front of him, "Can we make up?"
Slytherin looked unmoved, he had no intention of answering.
"Salazar, I'm sorry about that day," Gryffindor's voice trailed off, and finally blushed, before saying, "I shouldn't...kiss you."
Slytherin stopped what he was doing. He wasn't offended by the kiss or anything.
"I don't understand why you did that, Godric," he said softly.
After so many days, he finally heard him answer himself, and Gryffindor stood up in great surprise. "Salazar," he called out the Slytherin's name happily, before he understood his question.
He sat back in the chair, not knowing how to answer.
Slytherin sighed. "Godric, do you want to say that this matter still has something to do with my memory?"
"Yes," Gryffindor replied.
"I've thought about it in bits and pieces these days," Slytherin said, "We..." He tilted his head slightly so that his eyes were no longer directly facing Gryffindor who was sitting opposite him, "Are we Was it..." He couldn't help but start to blush like a real child, "was a lover?"
The Gryffindor across the way stood up, and the legs of the chair pushed out a watery wrinkle in the carpet. "... yes, Salazar," he replied in a low voice.
"Then why?" Slytherin lowered his head in embarrassment and whispered, "Why did you..."
Gryffindor spun around anxiously, he really didn't know how to explain it now.Slytherin never lied to him, he knew it.Slytherin wasn't joking at the cafe that day. But, he whispered ruefully, "Salazar, I..."
Slytherin looked up at him, waiting for an answer.
Gryffindor stuck.
"You still have to say it when you think about it!" Slytherin finally lost his patience. He stood up and raised his voice and shouted, "Why can't you tell me what happened now!"
He felt uncomfortable watching Gryffindor's expression filled with guilt for a moment.
"Since you really don't intend to tell me," he whispered, "forget it, I'll always remember as things stand."
They didn't make up until they returned to the wizarding world and the summer vacation was over.
After that quarrel, Slytherin's attempts to find bits and pieces of memory started to dwindle again, and finally almost stopped. He had to put this matter aside for the time being and concentrate on dealing with his descendant. What made him a little relieved was that although his body growth rate could not be compared with that of a pure Feathered Serpent, it was also much faster than that of ordinary people. Now he looked like he was seven or eight, not the normal six.
It was already the summer of 1979 when Hogwarts started school again.
The 12-year-old Gryffindor stood on platform nine and three quarters, pulling his luggage. He had moved out of Hogsmeade and was living in Muggle London.
Erin Snape returned to her original home.Severus Snape still didn't seem to have succeeded in getting rid of Voldemort, but that wasn't a surprise either. His potion talent is mouth-watering, but he doesn't have a strong family background. Although his mother is the only direct line of the Prince family, she gave up her inheritance rights early.Malfoy can't take care of him now, so his life is very troublesome.
Gryffindor watched as the Hogwarts students walked onto the train talking to each other, stopped and waited on the platform. He wondered if Slytherin would come to see him off.Such an idea is indeed a bit ridiculous, but he couldn't stop himself from waiting, and secretly looking forward to it.
When he was about to give up, Slytherin appeared in his vision.
"Salazar!" He handed the luggage into one hand and waved the other loudly.
He recognized Slytherin's glare at him from a distance, and only then remembered that he had forgotten to call him by an alias.
There is no way to take back what has been said.
Some parents and students who were closer to him stopped in their tracks, and those who were further away asked each other for unknown reasons.People whispered to each other, and soon almost all the little wizards and their parents who came to see them off on Platform [-] and Three Quarters stopped in surprise, with the exception of a very small number of Muggle-born first-year students. When they saw that it was a seven or eight-year-old child walking over, many people had strange expressions on their faces. The heir of Slytherin, the Dark Lord Voldemort has become the master of many people and the enemy of many people. For almost everyone, Slytherin has become a sensitive word.
But now, a little wizard actually called out "Salazar".
"That's Rick!" John Hudson, one of Gryffindor's original two roommates, heard the surrounding discussion and recognized Gryffindor. He walked over quickly, because Gryffindor asked for leave early, not many of his classmates knew him yet.
"Rick!" he greeted with a smile.
"John!" said Gryffindor, recognizing him, "Meet you again!"
Slytherin walked over to Gryffindor. He has adjusted his expression, with a calm smile on his face.
John recognized him, and he said in surprise, "Isn't your name Sigmund?"
Slytherin looked at him with the same surprised expression, turned to Gryffindor and said, "Rick, you seem to have confused your classmates. I said don't change my name again."
Before Gryffindor could react, John laughed and walked away, saying at the same time, "Rick, don't bully your brother. I'll get in the car first, and you can go find me later."
"I'll see if there's anything you need," Slytherin whispered when he was gone.
"I have everything," Gryffindor replied.
They were relatively silent until the conductor came up and said they were leaving.
Gryffindor boarded the train in silence, and when he put down his luggage, he looked back to the platform through the open carriage door.
Slytherin stood on the platform, never looking up.
He suddenly wanted to say something, and when he was about to speak, Slytherin suddenly turned and walked in the direction he had come.So he opened his mouth and could only turn around to find the box.
"Salazar," Gryffindor said bluntly without moving the plate in front of him, "Can we make up?"
