Chapter 72 Leaked (1)
When Gryffindor finished his day of classes and returned to the manor, it was already evening.
The beautiful dusk in August and September made him feel refreshed and walked into the main house from the gate without feeling tired. As soon as he entered the door, an elf informed him that dinner was ready. So he changed his coat and went upstairs into the small dining room next to the Slytherin bedroom.
The side wall of this small restaurant facing the atrium has curved and protruding floor-to-ceiling windows, and the endless sunlight shines warmly on the carpet through the thin white gauze curtains. The elf had set the table by the window, and the Slytherins were already sitting in chairs, ready to eat.
"Godric," Slytherin smiled when he saw him, "I'm so glad you're back in time so we can have dinner together."He looked at the well-cooked food on the plate with his usual contemptuous expression, hesitantly ate a little before putting down the knife and fork.
"Have a bad appetite?" Gryffindor looked at Slytherin with some concern, and then said, "Let's eat more."
Slytherin shook his head with a smile and replied, "I'm just a little upset."
Gryffindor finished his meal quickly, waited for the elf to put away the cutlery, looked at Slytherin, walked over to hold his hand, and said, "Let's go for a walk outside, don't be bored in the house."
Slytherin hesitated a little, then agreed.
Putting on their coats, they left the main house and went to the gardens in the north of the island.
Although it was September, the flower beds in the Slytherin Manor were full of white marigolds. They finally sat down on a bench in the back of the garden, behind a luxuriant privet tree.
"I've been reading history books lately," Slytherin said after a moment of silence, "everything is different."
"Muggles are getting more," Gryffindor added.
"Malfoy provided a lot of information, the more I understand, the more I feel," Slytherin pondered for a moment, and continued, "The past life is like a dream."
"Salazar," Gryffindor somewhat understood Slytherin's thoughts. He also had that feeling of bewilderment and unreality at first.
"I thought I'd have an easier life this time," Slytherin sighed slightly, leaning over to pick a white flower and put it on his lap. "My descendants, however, are, well, disappointing."
"Voldemort is really not a good candidate," Gryffindor agreed.
"We have to re-communicate with Muggles before we can develop, but he can't understand this." Slytherin said with a frown, "There are still many things to do."
Gryffindor didn't know what to say. After thinking about it, he could only pick another flower and put it in Slytherin's hand. "It's okay, I'll help you." He tugged at his short blond hair and said.
After sitting quietly for a while, Slytherin looked up and smiled, and said to Gryffindor, "Godric, you haven't seen Sylvia yet." He wanted to divert his emotions, so he did Make a new proposal. He pulled up Gryffindor and walked towards the side door of the main house.
They entered a long corridor.Gryffindor was attracted by the delicate and intricate silver and blue patterns on the carpet, and the marble statues of Greek gods on both sides of the corridor also made him want to stop and take a look.Slytherin just pulled him forward. It wasn't long before they reached the end of the corridor. It was covered by a huge tapestry woven with the Slytherin crest.
Slytherin walked over and lifted the tapestry, revealing a door behind.
In the center of the door was carved the Slytherin crest, just like the one on the tapestry in the Slytherin bedroom.Countless flowering ivy protruded from the edge of the badge, covering the entire door.
"This place has never been open to outsiders," Slytherin laughed, "but I want you to go in and have a look, it won't do anything."
He opened the door and walked in with Gryffindor.
Portraits of everyone in the Slytherin family hung on both sides of the corridor. The closer to the door, the older it is, and there are curtains hanging in front of it.Gryffindor leaned over to look at the name tags under the first few portraits, and was pulled away by Slytherin.
"Those few are too lazy to talk to people now," he said, "Sylvia's portrait is in front."
They hurried past the portraits and finally stopped at the one closest to the other end of the corridor.
"Sylvia's portrait was drawn by me after she died," Slytherin slowly opened the curtain, "Things were too hasty, and I didn't have any preparations, so her portrait is just a portrait..."
Gryffindor couldn't remember what Slytherin said later. The girl in the portrait has exactly the same face as Serena, but with the iconic silver hair of the Slytherin family. The girl who looked so similar to Slytherin thousands of years ago turned out to be...
Gryffindor didn't know what to do, he staggered back a few steps and leaned against the opposite wall.
In the portrait, the smile of the silver-haired girl in a dark green evening dress is the arrogance and elegance that has not changed for thousands of years.
"Godric," he heard the Slytherin calling his name suspiciously, and at the same time came to help him up.
"You killed me," said Gryffindor, looking at him vacantly, "you should have done that," and he pushed the Slytherin away, laughing maniacally.
"Godric!" Slytherin was pushed back two steps, his five-year-old body was completely unable to compete with Gryffindor, who was six years older than him.He tried to grab his hand, but it was still thrown away.
"Salazar," Gryffindor looked at him, "Get away from me! As far away as possible!" he yelled as he spun frantically around the hallway, tears streaming down his face.
"Godric!" Slytherin began to have some bad guesses.Their initial suspicion - soul damage has not been ruled out. Gryffindor's current situation made him have to worry about something wrong with his soul.
He took a few steps back and cast Gryffindor two Petrifying Charms when he wasn't looking.
