Chapter 103 Tenderness (2)

During the summer vacation at the end of Gryffindor's third year, Slytherin also received a Hogwarts admission letter. But he seems to have no intention of accepting it.

"Salazar, why don't you go?" Gryffindor asked with some disappointment holding the Hogwarts stationery with the words "Welcome Back" specially painted on the back.He really wanted Slytherin to come to Hogwarts so he could see him during the day too.

"I'm busy, Godric," the Slytherin added a spoonful of milk to his teacup, and pushed it in front of him.

"You can handle these things at Hogwarts, Salazar," Gryffindor made a last effort reluctantly.

Slytherin blinked, he already understood the expression on Gryffindor's face, he had understood the meaning as early as the last time he was 14 years old - like a dragon about to be robbed of treasure, Much more cute and harmless though. He pursed his lips and made a troubled expression easily - he was sure that Gryffindor would never see him through. It wasn't impossible to solve everything at Hogwarts, and apart from History of Magic, he shouldn't need to worry about other subjects. But he just wanted to hear what Gryffindor had to say.

Sure enough, Gryffindor's face crumpled into a ball, and it didn't take long for him to give in.

"Okay," he said softly, "I can still see you at night anyway." He scratched the armrest of the sofa, and put the letter far away in frustration.

Slytherin couldn't bear it, the loss on Gryffindor's face was too obvious. He thought for a while, got up and moved to sit beside him, comforting him in his usual way.

He kissed the Gryffindor on the cheek, who put his arms around his waist and rubbed his chin against the top of his hair.

"Salazar", Gryffindor muttered complainingly, sat him on his lap, took a sip of his own black tea, and did not forget to move his teacup from the other side of the table.

Slytherin reached out and took a sip from his cup, then said softly, "Godric, actually, I should try to go to Hogwarts."

Gryffindor's mood didn't recover immediately, he reached out to smooth Slytherin's hair, and said, "Don't be too forceful, I know you are tired too."

The Slytherin was pondering his next sentence when there was a knock on the door.

He didn't come out of Gryffindor's arms, and raised his voice slightly, saying, "Come in".

"Just received," Thomas explained, coming in with a tray covered in black velvet, "two Horcruxes, a notebook and Hufflepuff's gold cup."

The word Hufflepuff created a wonderful change in the faces of the two seated figures.

Slytherin subconsciously grasped Gryffindor's robe, and the Gryffindor wrapped his arms around the waist of the man in his arms.

"Excuse me," Slytherin looked at Gryffindor anxiously.

Thomas obeyed and uncovered the black velvet.

On the left side of the boxwood plate is a diary with a very old black cover, and on the right side is a dark cup.

Regardless of whether it was Hufflepuff's or not, its color proved beyond a doubt that the cup was indeed pure gold.Gryffindor looked nervously at the profile of Slytherin.

"No", the Slytherin breathed a sigh of relief, and his body relaxed into his arms, whispering, "Not Helga's".

Then he motioned for Thomas to bring the potion and pour it on.

After two bursts of black mist, the two items became unrecognizable, and Thomas walked away with them more briskly than when he came in.

As the door closed, the Slytherin wrapped his arms around Gryffindor's neck and kissed the corner of his lips.

"Godric, kiss me now", he whispered, "don't remind me of those things".

However, Gryffindor did not comfort him as he wished, he hugged him tightly and whispered, "You can't forget, Salazar".

Slytherin froze for a moment, raised his face so that his lips met his, and then said in a child's clear voice, "Gryffindor, do you want me to remember forever?" There was a little tremor in his voice , he lifted his body up and kissed the tip of Gryffindor's nose finely, and continued, "You really want me to be in pain forever? You just want to torture me?"

"I can only remember," Gryffindor let him rest on his shoulder, and said, "We all have to remember, there is no other way." He patted Slytherin on the shoulder comfortingly, Then he said, "We're going to be tortured forever, and you know that." He bowed his head and kissed Slytherin tenderly on the forehead, and said, "But we'll be together, always together, nothing and nobody can tear us apart."

"Death?" Slytherin said softly.

"I should have died sooner," Gryffindor whispered.

"You can share mine," the Slytherin replied softly, too.

"I don't want that," Gryffindor objected, "that would be dividing your lifespan equally."

"If you divide eternity into two parts, then you get two eternities," whispered Slytherin, "I don't know how many years I'm going to live, Godric, no one in my family has ever died before." He whispered, "But I know I want to be with you because I love you".

"Salazar, I don't know if it was worth it," said Gryffindor. "Once we did that, there was no going back."

"I don't want to turn back, Godric, or do you prefer that I kill myself after you die?" Slytherin knew he had made the right bet when he saw the panic on Gryffindor's face for a moment.

"Merlin," Gryffindor cupped his face, "how can you think that," he said, "don't, Salazar, don't let me hear you say that." He hugged Slytherin tightly. , with one arm around his waist and one hand resting on the back of his head.

"I may not say it, but I will," Slytherin said in a stubborn tone.

"Salazar!" Gryffindor glared at him angrily, then softened, "Okay, I promise."

"Sorry," said the Slytherin, rubbing against him, "didn't mean to threaten you".

"I don't dislike the plan either, Salazar," Gryffindor replied.

"As compensation, I still decided to go to Hogwarts." Slytherin grabbed the letter that was put aside and wrote two lines of reply with the quill and parchment that appeared out of thin air, and threw it smoothly to the white owl.

"Salazar," said Gryffindor, kissing him deeply on the lips, "you've always been like this, always..."

"I know," said Slytherin shortly and defiantly, "you don't like it?"

"I like it so much," Gryffindor hugged his neck and kissed him loudly on the face.
