Chapter 10 Christmas Ball (3)

"Godric, you still came to the ball, I was going to tell you tomorrow." Slytherin smiled in surprise, at least it looked like surprise.

"You're married! When did you get married! How can you marry her!" Godric waved his arms with a flushed face, his voice overshadowed everyone and echoed throughout the hall.Several musicians trying to turn the tide plucked the strings unwillingly, but unfortunately no one wanted to dance anymore. Those snake whisperers had raised their eyebrows into two vertical lines, and Hufflepuff's surprised and injured expression became less conspicuous.

There was a buzz in the hall again. After all, such excitement does not happen every Christmas.People were whispering or winking at each other, and many of them were already planning to leave in order to avoid any major incidents.

"For a moment, I thought you, Godric, could understand the snake language, and what you said was exactly the same as theirs." Slytherin looked at the snake whisperers coldly, "Or, you, as my A mutual friend with Helga, don't you have any thoughts of blessing?" The dissatisfaction in Slytherin's tone and the tears already pouring out of Hufflepuff's eyes made Godric completely confused when he just recovered.

"I, I'm not, you can't marry her!" Godric continued to insist on his opening remarks.

"Why!" Slytherin's completely cold tone made Godric

"I, because, because of me, you, you, her, I..." Godric looked at the tears on Hufflepuff's face, and couldn't express the thoughts stuck in his heart.

"I think you are too surprised to behave so abnormally," Slytherin's unquestionable tone completely sealed his mouth, "Story," Slytherin turned around and looked at Malfoy, " Your guest is hysterical, shouldn't you do your landlord's favor and let him go to the garden to breathe fresh air?"

"No, Salazar..."

"Shut up, go to the garden now!" Slytherin leaned closer to Gryffindor, and whispered a few words into his ear.

Godric, who was already emotionally unstable, was flustered by the breath of Slytherin in his ear, swallowed all his words, and left with Malfoy.

"Now, gentlemen," said Slytherin with a leisurely smirk, "if nothing else, I'll take my wife to rest."

("Your Excellency"), the eldest son of the Haynes family, parted from the two or three people in front of him, approached and said, ("I still hope that you can think carefully, this is a big deal after all.")

(“Miss Hufflepuff was chosen by my father, and as his son, I trust his judgment.”) Slytherin bid him farewell with a slight nod, and returned to the common room with Helga, who was still crying, on his arm.

"Don't cry, Helga," Slytherin sat down beside Hufflepuff, put his arms around her shoulders, and wiped her tears carefully with a handkerchief, "Godric is so surprised, don't be sad I will go talk to him later, he will definitely support when he wakes up.”

"I know, you shouldn't marry me, even Godric..." Hufflepuff stopped crying and said sadly.

"But you're already my wife, Helga. We've been married for seven years." Slytherin looked her in the eye, with a subtle hint of suspicion in his tone, "Or do you insist on not agreeing to make this public?" Is it because you don't want to marry me at all?"

"No, of course not," Hufflepuff cried again. "I'm worried about what those people will think. Your mother said that if it is made public, they will gang up on you."

"That's in the past, Helga. It's been seven years, and we can't spend forever." He adjusted his sitting posture and looked Helga's eyes better. "You never thought that we would Live together and have a bunch of kids?"

A blush crept across Helga's face, and she whispered, "I, of course, would think so."

"Then we must make this matter public, we cannot let the child become an illegitimate child." Slytherin said softly, holding her in his arms.

"Yes, you're right. I should have thought of that," Helga replied softly, resting her head in his arms.

After a while, Slytherin said, "I'm going to see Godric now, I don't know how he is."

"Okay." Hufflepuff stood up and straightened his skirt, and said, "I'll wait for you here."

"Well, I'm afraid you have to go back to Hogwarts first, and I'm sending Godric back."

"You can ask someone to take him back, I want to be with you." Hufflepuff frowned slightly.

"I'm worried about him, he didn't look right today."

"Ok."
