[HP] Return late

Chapter 10 The Savior of Inferiority

After the smoke from the cauldron was extinguished, Lucius' ghost floated out with an apologetic smile.

Sure enough, it failed.

The look of anticipation on Narcissa's face has not faded, the smile froze at the corner of her mouth, the wrist that was cut just now is still bleeding, but she has not treated it.

"Cissy..." Lucius sighed and called his wife's name.

Narcissa just turned around and left the laboratory without saying a word. Lucius followed, presumably to comfort her.

Draco silently began to clean up the pot of discarded potions. Anguish and disappointment accumulated in his chest, and an indescribable joy hovered over the evil lines on his chest.

He must be under some kind of curse to have such vicious thoughts. Will he become no longer his original character, like those corpses, gradually lose his mind and hate the living?

If Professor Snape is here, there should be other ways, right?

His head was in chaos, full of shadows of failure. Could it be that after the death of his body, he would gradually lose his thinking?

"Draco, are you okay?" The savior came out of the corner, his emerald green eyes full of worry.

"Go away, Potter," Draco said coldly.Even if he fails, he doesn't need anyone's sympathy.Especially the Savior, it just made him feel worse.

Potter didn't do what he said, but stepped forward and grabbed his wrist. His hot skin nearly scalded him.

Draco suddenly felt offended, disrespected, and waved his free hand to slap the loathsome fellow - while Potter just stood there, staring at His emerald eyes shone like the finest emeralds—his hand fell heavily, knocking the tin scales off the bench, smashing the ceramic tray and slender hands.

"Go away, I don't want to say it a third time!" Draco fell into a state of rage, his brain couldn't think, and his whole body was shaking with anger. He tried to free his wrist from Potter's claws, but the skinny-looking savior was as strong as a troll.

The savior is peaceful from beginning to end, which makes him look vexatious.

"What the hell do you want?!" Draco couldn't help but yelled at Potter, his icy skin was about to start burning where it touched.

"Draco, I won't leave again, I don't want to make the same mistake twice." His tone was calm as if stating a fact.

Once some mistakes are made, they cannot be undone.Draco looked at the shards of the scales on the floor, and his sanity gradually returned. He clearly knew that it wasn't Potter who did it, but his body still remembered the pain of being pierced in the heart, the fear of dying slowly, the uncontrollably shaking of the grasped wrist, and the instinctive fear of Potter's approach.

"I'm not smart, or even dull. I don't understand the true meaning of what you express all the time. If you say it, I will try to understand it." The savior's voice seemed to have a calming magic power.

He really didn't want to say more, when the savior once again created a legend, he died silently. Some things, spread out, become humble begging.

It's not that he never thought of going down with Potter, he was attracted by the savior's obsession, and even put down his protective layer to allow him to approach, making mutual compromises and tenderness.

It just seems that the rift existed from the very beginning.

When they first met, he was the heir to a beloved family of pure-blood wizards, and Potter was a poor child who lost his parents, suffered abuse and knew nothing about magic, so he refused his hand on the train.Different living environments have created their different ideas. He can survive for the preservation of the family, but the savior will come forward at critical moments.

You can't understand Slytherin selfishness, I can't accept Gryffindor bravery.

What's ridiculous is that the cowardly man died, but the savior gained fame in danger time and time again.

Potter, my wrist is warm right now, but as soon as you let go, it goes back to death cold.

"Let go, I don't need you." Because you will only leave when I need help most, for the so-called justice. His anger has long been extinguished, and what remains is the coldness that fills his soul.

Yes, he has already regretted it. He would rather die with hatred at that time than accept the sorrow of seeing the truth now.

"If I let go now, it means there is no chance, right?" The savior didn't intend to let go at all, but held on tighter. If the body hadn't been dead long ago, it should have been bruised.

"Get out of here, Potter, and go back to your lion's den." The Slytherin family is not suitable for you, my father doesn't like you, and my mother must have her intentions when she treats you well. Slytherins will somehow show kindness to a stranger, except to take advantage of it.You should be shining and proud, there's no need to be so humble, that's not you, Harry.

Gryffindor is where you make it.

"Because I'm an outcast from this house?" Potter asked sadly.

His emerald green eyes stared at Draco distraughtly.

"I know your parents don't like me that much, it's just Snape's words to let me stay." The savior looked like he was about to cry, "I'm an outsider, just like I was at my aunt's house before .You are family and I am the extra one.”

You are not redundant.

"I thought I could bear that, at least without beatings and insults." He gradually released his hand, "but your indifference hurts me more than that."

I just don't want to be disappointed again.

"I regretted leaving the Room of Requirement long ago, Draco. The moment I felt you, I was alive again. I knew you would be angry and unforgiving. I can wait, even if I wait forever Not yet." The savior's voice became even lower, "I've waited so long, I don't care about a little more time."

I know.

"I'm not good-looking, I'm stupid, I don't study well, I always do wrong things and get ridiculed, it's only natural that you hate me. Just like before, they don't want to be my friend because I'm the monster Harry. Envy What you expect, you don't always get."

You shouldn't feel inferior, you are the best, they didn't see your glory on the Quidditch field.

"Draco, if seeing me will only bore you, I will leave and never appear in front of you again." The savior's emerald green eyes lost their luster, as if they were covered by dust, dull and empty .

Draco didn't want to look into those eyes and looked away. "What is broken is no longer perfect," he said.

The savior turned around in frustration, and walked towards the door with erratic footsteps as if he had lost his soul. When he was only a few inches away from the door, he stopped suddenly, turned around quickly, and almost jumped over. Grabbed the wand and pointed it at the fragments on the ground: "Restored as before." - The intact tin balance appeared again.

The savior held up the scales and looked at him expectantly.

"Put it back in place," Draco said dryly.

He is not soft-hearted because of the words of the savior, but he has no choice, he wants a warmth that belongs to him.

"If you stay, your life and everything is mine."

"En." The savior nodded repeatedly, the flashes in his eyes were as fluffy as a small animal.Draco overcame the physical fear, sighed, and hugged him firmly in his arms.

"Last chance, don't break my word again."

The savior didn't answer, just smiled foolishly.

Draco kissed the corner of his mouth lightly, and the savior became even more foolish. He wrapped his arms around his back, and the scorching heat drove away the coldness of his body.

Harry, if you betray me, I will drag you to hell.

The author has something to say:

The cold is so painful. When I go to class wrapped in a cashmere coat, other people look at me so strangely
