Xiaoyu is a curious person, but he lives in the dormitory with many strange rumors.

Although after Xiaoyu's various researches, most of the rumors about the dormitory are groundless, but there is one rumor that is true.That is the lanterns that wander around in the corridors of the dormitory every night.

The reason why Xiaoyu was sure that this rumor was true was because he looked at the net through the window glass on the bedroom door at night, and he did see a white lantern with a faint light floating in the dark several times.

Xiaoyu wanted to go out several times to find out, but was stopped by his roommate.Xiaoyu asked them why they wanted to stop him, but they refused to elaborate, they just told him "some things should not be involved too much...".

The more the roommates were like this, the more curious Xiaoyu became, and finally one day, Xiaoyu waited for an opportunity when the roommates were not around.

At night, Xiaoyu guarded the door nervously. When the lantern floated over from the dark corridor, Xiaoyu opened the door abruptly and shone it with a flashlight, only to see that the floating lantern was actually covered by a half body. It was carried by a transparent ghost, and it was not an ordinary lantern. It was made of the skin of a person's head. The facial features could be clearly seen on the surface, and dim candlelight shone through inside.

Xiaoyu was so frightened that his whole body was cold, and the ghost rushed over as soon as he saw Xiaoyu open the door.Just when Xiaoyu thought he was going to die, the ghost didn't hurt Xiaoyu, but forced the scary human skin lantern into Xiaoyu's hand, and then laughed shrillly to himself Float away.

Xiaoyu, who was still in shock, stood there for several seconds before he came back to his senses. He wanted to throw away the terrifying lantern in his hand, but found that his hands were not in control and he couldn't throw the lantern away; he wanted to go back to the dormitory. But he found that his feet didn't work, and he couldn't enter the bedroom; when he looked down again, he found that his body had become translucent, just like the ghost just now.

Now Xiaoyu understood that only by finding a student who left the dormitory curiously in the middle of the night and handing over this lantern to him can he be free, otherwise he would wander in this dark corridor forever.
