Before they had time to think about anything, Garcia and his team immediately fled the hospital without encountering any other obstacles along the way. When they left the hospital, a van painted with the Sokovia military logo was parked downstairs of the hospital. But Garcia remembered that the attacker they saw in the ward was not wearing Sokovia's uniform.

They're back inside the hotel, Bucky by the window and Garcia sitting on his bed, the girl sitting across from them, still wearing the gray lab coat she brought from the HYDRA base.

"Who are you?" the girl asked.

"The enemy of Hydra." Garcia said, "What about you? Except that you are a Hydra experiment and a war orphan."

"Wanda, Wanda Ma——" the girl took a breath, covering her neck with her hands, her expression painful.

"Stop talking." Garcia said, "The poisonous gas affects every part of your body. You seem to be recovering very quickly, and you should recover soon."

Wanda waved at him, and let go of the hand covering her neck. She continued to speak, her voice was a little hoarse, and she should feel uncomfortable, but she didn't care.

"Wanda Maximoff." The girl said, "I want to find my brother Pietro."

"A boy with silver hair?" Garcia asked, "a little taller than you, with a thin beard on his face."

"Yes." Wanda said, "Where was the last time you saw him?"

"Hydra base." Bucky said, "Apart from the two of you, is there anyone else in the base who has similar abilities?"

"No more." Wanda frowned. "Except for me and Pietro, everyone failed. The organization is looking for new experimental products—before then."

"How did you get this ability?" Bucky asked.

Wanda opened her mouth, but closed it again immediately.

"You help me rescue Pietro, and I'll tell you what you want to know." She said, looking at Garcia and Bucky nervously.

Of course Garcia could ask her directly, but he didn't want to be so rough that Wanda would become wary of him, which might ruin their future relationship. This girl is not an enemy to him now, and even has the same kind of sympathy as Bucky.

"I could feel him. That connection was there when we were kids, and it became more apparent after we were given that ability."

"So you can contact him, telepathically," Garcia said.

"I can see the scene around him, and I can feel the joy when he is near me." Wanda said.

Of course, Garcia thought, the girl would go to save her brother. They couldn't stop her, but Garcia knew he couldn't just let her fall into Hydra's hands again.Even if it was the Sokovia government that took away those experimental objects, it is not sure of safety. He still does not know what the relationship between the Sokovia government and Hydra is now.

"Then start to feel where your brother is now." Garcia said, "I'll go out with him—forgot to mention, call me Garcia, his name is James."

Bucky smiled at the girl, and Wanda smiled uncomfortably.

Garcia and Bucky walked out of the room, and he went to the vending machine around the corner to buy a chocolate energy bar, which was already dusty because not many people bought this expensive snack for them.

He broke apart the chocolate energy bar and gave one to Bucky.

"Trouble is following us," Garcia said.

"Aren't we always looking for trouble?" Bucky asked.

"What about that girl." Garcia said, "She is so powerful, any party would want her—and her brother."

"You want them to come with us?" Bucky asked. "That's too dangerous. They're just kids."

"I know." Garcia said.

That feeling is weird.

You were carried into the air by the airflow from the explosion, the high temperature burned half of your face, you were screaming, but there was silence in your ears.

Then the music started, it was a nocturne, the first time you heard this song was in the wooden house where you lived as a child, your mother who was not dead at that time was humming softly.

You wonder why you still remember such a scene, which should be the bottom of your memory palace. Then you remember that you are going to die, and people will remember many, many forgotten things before they die.

So the first thing you think about is not the gun-toting thugs who broke into your home, or your wife and children getting shot in front of you and you falling to the ground dying. It was the Nocturne from many years ago.

You close your eyes.

"Did you sense anything?" Garcia asked Wanda.

"Pietro is in a white place," Wanda said. "White bed, with grass and a fountain outside the window. And a clock tower."

"What does the clock tower look like?" Bucky asked, and he had already turned on the computer to search.

"There is a golden roof, the rest is a mixture of white and blue, and there are flowers, many, many flowers." Wanda said, she was still thinking about it, and Bucky had already found a building that matched her description.

"I found it," Bucky said, "the Notre Dame Cathedral on the outskirts of the city has a bell tower with a golden roof."

Then he searched again, and the search results appeared quickly.

"St. Lianne's Hospital." Bucky said, a picture of the hospital gate was displayed on his computer screen, "Is there a river near where your brother is staying?"

"I don't know." Wanda said.

"That may be a problem of perspective." Garcia said, and Bucky nodded.

Going to rescue Pietro Maximov next became a matter of course.

Garcia and Bucky went to replenish weapons on the way, but were told that Sokovia had suddenly banned private sales of weapons in recent days and that the criminal law was unprecedentedly severe.Garcia had to resort to special tactics to get what he wanted. On the way back to the hotel, he and Bucky saw a line of transport trucks marked with Sokovian Army logos, and Bucky got nervous about it for a while, but nothing happened.

"Something happened in Sokovia," Garcia said.

"I saw the army's car from the hotel window before." Bucky said.

"Has there been anything on the news recently?" Garcia asked. He didn't understand the language of Sokovia, and naturally he couldn't understand the news, so only Bucky could directly understand the latest situation in Sokovia.

"No." Bucky said, "As always."

"Probably their internal affairs," Garcia said, "it hasn't been broadcast on the news yet."

When they entered the hotel room, the red-haired girl looked down at the street with a pale face.

"I saw a lot of army vehicles."

Seeing that they were coming, Wanda put down her raised hand and said.

"Don't worry," Garcia said.

"My father once told me that when I was just born, when the civil war just started, he also saw many cars like this passing through our village." Wanda said, but her expression didn't change.
