vampire bat

Chapter 9

Vinny didn't see Josephine for a whole day, he was stuck in his cage and couldn't go anywhere.

"Go for a walk, it's not good to stay inside all day." Sebastian opened the cage and stood aside, motioning for Winnie to come out.

"Does His Royal Highness know if you let me out?" Winnie lingered at the exit of the cage, never taking a step.

"You have free time every day, and I will bring you back when the time comes." Sebastian explained.

Only then did Winnie go out boldly. He originally wanted to find Bourne, but he always felt a little awkward with this vampire behind him.

Sebastian saw what was on his mind and said to him, "I'll take you to see Bourne."

Winnie glanced at Sebastian gratefully, and followed him through the corridor, where there were many servants coming and going, as if they all had their own business to do.

Bourne was with a little vampire who was lying on the window pointing at something downstairs and saying, "I want that bird."

"Ange." Sebastian waved at the little vampire.

Ange ran over and threw himself into Sebastian's arms. He looked a bit like Josephine, but he wasn't that pretty. He could only be regarded as a clean-looking boy.

"Who are you? What's wrong with your hand?" Ange got up from Sebastian's arms, and his eyes were attracted by Winnie who was standing aside.

"He's your dad's new pet, okay, don't scare him." Sebastian took Anger away and gave Winnipeg Burn some time alone.

"Master." Winnie walked over, he wanted to hug him, but Bourne had already hugged him in his arms first.

"Did he punish you?" Byrne raised Vinny's hand and saw that all his fingers were covered with gauze, "Sebastian told me that your nails were pulled out, it hurts."

"It's just a bit painful, master." Winnie wanted to pull back his hand, but Bourne never let go. He comforted Bourne, "Master, I'm fine, my nails will grow back if they fall off."

"I'm no longer your master." Bourne raised Winnie's face, "You don't need to call me master anymore."

Winnie was stunned for a moment, "Does the master not want me?"

"I didn't abandon Winnie." Byrne stroked Winnie's hair, "I just want Winnie to call my name."

"No!" Winnie denied it almost instantly, "How can I call the master's name?"

"Vinny." Bourne held his drooping face and gently asked between his brows, "Call me by name, call me Bourne."

Winnie shook his head, when the other party suddenly kissed his mouth, he subconsciously exclaimed: "Master, you!"

But Bourne didn't let him go.

"Bo, Bowen." Winnie's voice was drowned in his mouth, and he was still in shock until he was released.

Bourne took Winnie into his arms and stroked his back, as if comforting or coaxing a child, "I can't protect you here, Winnie must take care of himself."

Vinny nodded, his tears all over Bourne's clothes.

"I also want to take Winnie home." Bourne rested his head on Winnie's head, "It's all my fault, I shouldn't have handed you over to Earl Fallon."

"Vinny," Sebastian called him.

Bourne hugged the person in his arms tightly, lowered his head close to Winnie's ear, and asked, "I like Winnie, does Winnie like me?"

"Winnie always loves master... yes, Bourne."

Bourne let go of him, and Winnie looked back reluctantly and left.

Sebastian didn't say anything, but said: "I can only let you out for a while today, and in the future, if His Royal Highness likes you, you will be free."

Winnie followed behind with a wry smile, what kind of freedom is this?

"Dad, I want him!" Ange's voice reached Winnie's ears along the straight corridor.

"I have so many pets, which one do you want?" Josephine asked helplessly.

"It's him!" Ange pointed at Winnie excitedly. He broke away from Josephine and rushed over, hugging Winnie in his arms.

Winnie watched Ange rushing towards him, shrunk his body and hit him hard. Ange's arm was very strong, clamping him tightly.

Ang felt that Winnie seemed to be frightened. He reached out and stroked Winnie's hair, as if smoothing the fur of a small animal.

Winnie raised his head and glanced at Josephine. His Royal Highness's complexion was not very good, as if he disliked Winnie.

"You made a mistake, look for it again." Josephine wanted to drive Angra away.

Anger dodged Josephine, shook his head and said firmly: "He looks different from others, I can recognize him.

"

Winnie was stunned for a second when he saw Josephine. At that second, people had the illusion that he was very pitiful. But then, His Royal Highness regained his composure: "Let's play."

Ange happily dragged Vinny away, but he didn't go far, still within Josephine's sight.

"What's your name?" Angela sat down with Winnie. He didn't care that the floor would stain his clothes. Josephine, who was in the distance, sighed helplessly when he saw him sitting on the ground.

"Winnie." Winnie sat down with Ange, keeping his head down and looking at the floor.

Ange looks like a boy of eighteen or nineteen years old, but he feels like a child of seven or eight years old.

Winnie faintly felt that Ange probably had some flaws in himself. In short, he was definitely not a normal child.

"You're so obedient." Ange stroked Winnie's hair, "I like obedient pets, but unfortunately they can't understand me, but Winnie is different."

"As long as Winnie can make the little master happy." Winnie peeked at Josephine out of the corner of his eye. Josephine seemed to be discussing something with Sebastian and had no time to care about it.

"I have something to eat here." Ange took out a bag of candies from his clothes, took out one and stuffed it into his mouth.

Winnie hadn't had time to stop him from eating human food, but Ang had already swallowed it, as if to tell him that the candy was okay.

"Here you are." Ange took out a candy and put it near Winnie's mouth.

Winnie hesitated and ate the candy.

Ange touched Winnie's hair, and slowly moved his hand to Winnie's face. He probably felt that this little pet had been bought by him, and a sly smile appeared on his face.

In the distance, Josephine and Sebastian were discussing Thales' issue.

"This matter has alarmed the elders." Sebastian said.

"I know." There was a trace of anxiety on Josephine's face, "I'll take care of it, try to hold him back and let him come to me later."

"Ah!" Vinny's scream came from afar.

Josephine hurried over, and he saw that Ange's mouth was covered with blood, and Winnie had a ring of teeth marks on his arm.

Winnie stared at the tooth marks on his arm, not vampire bite marks, but human.Almost all the teeth had to break through his skin, leaving a ring of horrific tooth marks on his arm.

"Didn't I tell you not to eat indiscriminately?!" Josephine scolded.

"I just want to taste him..." An Ge felt wronged, he complained, "You didn't say me when I bit someone..."

"That's what I allowed you to bite, now? Did you get my permission?" Josephine asked him.

Ange bit his lip, tears streaming down his face.

"Okay, don't cry." Josephine slowed down. He wiped Ange's tears with his sleeve, but Ange turned his head away.

"Hey, Dad loves you the most, don't cry, okay?" Josephine lowered her head and kissed Ange, but Ange pushed him away.

"I hate you!" Ange left without looking back, without giving his father a step down.

Josephine stood still and looked at Ang's back. He was so angry that he scratched his hair with his hands, as if only by doing this could he suppress the anger that was about to erupt.

"You!" Josephine pointed at Winnie, "I don't want to see you anymore! Drag me away."

"Master, please don't kill me!" Winnie was held back by two servants.

Josephine looked at him, and the corner of her mouth slanted, revealing a sarcastic smile.

Bourne encountered an embarrassing scene when he returned to his room. A vampire was stealing the blood of a blood slave.

He ducked aside in embarrassment, overhearing their conversation.

"Honey, do you have any meat tonight?" The little blood slave asked while touching the hair of the vampire buried in his neck.

It seemed that the vampire had done this for the first time, and they were already acquaintances.

"Yes." The vampire raised his head, sticking out his bloody tongue to lick the wound on the blood slave's neck, "However, I guess you won't be able to eat it."

"why?"

"Do you eat bat meat?"

"What bat meat?" Bourne's voice startled them both.

The vampire guarded the little blood slave behind him, staring at Bourne hostilely.

"I'm not going to turn on you," Byrne said, "but don't blame me if you don't tell me."

"Hmph, kid, do you think you are my opponent?" The vampire laughed.

"Of course I can't beat you," Bourne said, "but this is the prince's palace. You can't kill me. If you can't kill me, I will definitely tell His Royal Highness what you did today."

"You!" The vampire's already pale face became even paler now, he was defeated, and told Bourne everything he knew, "It's your bat, he provoked His Royal Highness... Hey, Hurry up if you want to save him, otherwise he might be cooked."

Bourne's face changed, and his gaze swept over the wall clock on the wall. It was half an hour before dinner.

Oops!Bourne left them, turned and disappeared into the hallway.
