Chapter 18

"I'll find you out!"

Thales' voice came from the room, and Winnie's hand knocking on the door stopped in mid-air.

"Can't find me, Quigley sent me to the place of my final rest, only he knows."

"What are you going to do?"

"..."

Winnie approached the door cautiously and heard Wilson say.

"Earl Fallon said that he would betroth his daughter Bella to Bourne. As long as Bourne and Bella get married, the Fallon family will protect Erland and Catherine."

"Where's Vinny?"

"The Fallon family shouldn't care about one more pet."

Vinny walked away slowly, moving quietly at first, but then he walked faster and faster, and he felt that he was about to burst into tears.

"Winnie?" Burn saw Winnie running down crying. Just now he smiled and said he was going to tell Wilson. Why are you crying now?

"What's wrong? You don't want me to come back?"

Vinny shook his head vigorously and explained, "I'm just, so happy."

Bourne touched Winnie's head with a smile, took him into his arms for the first time in front of so many servants at home, and said, "Okay, I won't leave Winnie again."

"Really?" Vinny asked, but he already had the answer in his mind.

All morning, Winnie was bored in the room until there was a knock on the door.

He knew it was Bourne.

"Vinny, are you okay?"

Eventually, Vinny let him in.

"I'm... fine." Winnie lowered his head, feeling that Bourne was slowly approaching him.

"You don't seem very happy." Byrne hugged him, "Is there something on your mind?"

Seeing Winnie looking for excuses in a panic, he hurriedly advised: "It's okay, wait until you want to tell me."

Bourne just hugged him like this, no one said a word

However, Winnie couldn't help but always wanted to ask him: "Did the Duke look for you?"

"No, Dad, he didn't see me, maybe he's still angry."

Winnie leaned in Bourne's arms, hesitating whether to tell him or not, when the door was knocked, and a servant stood outside the door and told Bourne that the Duke was looking for him.

"I'm going." Byrne touched Winnie's head and left.

Winnie sat on the bed and looked at the closed door. He knew Bourne would be back.

Only this time, Bourne forgot to knock.

"You forgot to knock, Bourne." Winnie said flatly as he watched the door being pushed open.

"sorry I forgot."

"It's okay, they always push the door straight in." Winnie shook his head.

"Vinny, I..." Bourne walked over, but he didn't sit down, "I'm going to marry Earl Fallon's daughter next week."

Winnie looked up at him, barely maintaining a smile: "Then I will have a mistress soon...I think she will like me too."

"Vinny..."

"I also want to deliver the letter for little master Erlande." Winnie stood up abruptly, "I'm leaving first."

After escaping from the room, Vinny didn't know where he was going, and Thales' words always echoed in his ears.

"He's a vampire, and he'll have a wife of his own."

Thales is right, Bourne is a vampire, and they belong to two worlds after all. Before, Winnie had always wondered why he always felt superfluous even though he had lived with his masters for so long, and it turned out that the answer was right in front of his eyes.

If I were a vampire born in an aristocratic family, had a powerful family, had forces to rely on, and could bring what the Wilson family wanted, would the ending be different?

"Winnie, can you deliver another letter for me?" Erlande was going to look for him in his room, but unexpectedly met Winnie who was in a daze in the corridor.

Winnie nodded, but said nothing.

"What's wrong with you?" Seeing his sad look, Erlande ran over to kiss him and said, "Don't be sad, okay?"

After that incident, Eland regarded Winnie as his only reliable friend, and never treated him like before.

Winnie nodded, took the letter in Ireland's hand and went out.

It rained a lot yesterday, and it became cold in a blink of an eye, let alone in this dark city of dark clouds.

Vinny flew halfway across town and stuffed the letter into the mailbox, where the last letter was still intact.

He closed the mailbox after one glance, but didn't leave because he didn't want to go back.

His eyes were hot, and Winnie wiped away his tears with his sleeve. Just as he was about to turn around, he heard footsteps behind him.

"Hello." The strange man touched his shoulder, his voice was indescribably numb.

Winnie turned around and saw the gray eyes of the other party. Before he had time to think, a cold and heart-pounding system came from his chest.Winnie lowered his head and saw a dagger pierced into his body, and there was a ring on that hand.

"Hunter...hunter." Winnie fell to the ground, blood gushed from his chest, dripped on the gray road, and spread outward along the ravine.

In his last blurred vision, the hunter tore his letter, and the papers fell like snowflakes.

"Did you see Winnie?" After a whole day, Winnie didn't come back, and Erlande felt a little uneasy. After all, Winnie disappeared after delivering a letter for him.

It was the first time that the servant at the side saw Eland speak so meekly, and he hurriedly shook his head and replied, "No, he didn't come back after he went out."

When Erlande saw Bourne who was alone, he hesitated for a moment, walked over and asked, "My brother likes Vinny so much, shouldn't he be with him?"

Bourne, whose eyes dodged Erlander's gaze, answered hastily, "I'm... a little busy today."

"You're having a conflict, aren't you?" Erlande asked. "I've been sad since I saw Winnie come out of the room. Don't you dislike him?"

"No, I..." Bourne looked at him, Erlande's green eyes made him panic for a while, and he still couldn't help telling Erlande about the matter, of course not including Wilson's part.

"Winnie didn't come back." Erlande said, although he wasn't sure if it had something to do with Bourne, but he felt that Winnie was probably acting out of anger.

"This guy, maybe he's angry with me." Byrne said worriedly, "I'll go find him."

"Master Bourne." The silent servant following Bourne suddenly said, "Miss Bella will come this afternoon."

Erlande looked at the servant. It was an unfamiliar face, probably from Earl Fallon.

"You stay here, I'll go find him." Erlande turned to leave, but Bourne grabbed his hand.

"Father told me, don't take this opportunity to find the hunter." Bourne turned to the servant again and said, "Tell Earl Faron, I will show up on time."

When Erlande shook off him, he rubbed his sore wrist. It seemed that Bourne was in a bad mood. He wouldn't have used so much force before.

"Winnie...Winnie..." In the darkness, someone called him.

Winnie dreamed of the dark basement in Josephine's palace. A monster like a skeleton crawled out to suck his blood. He ran away desperately, but was finally caught.

This is a dream, right? There is no pain in a dream.

Winnie gave up his resistance and bared his neck.

it hurts!Winnie felt the pain of the skin being punctured, would it hurt in the dream?

"Winnie..." the voice sounded again, "Drink it..."

Winnie opened his mouth in confusion, more and more blood fell into his mouth, and it seemed to flow down from a dark corner above.

"It hurts!" The blood swallowed, penetrated into his limbs and bones like a poisonous snake, and burned into his blood vessels.

One hand grabbed him, and Winnie felt himself being thrown high, and fell unsuspectingly. Just when he thought he was going to smash into the hard ground, he suddenly fell into the soft bed .

"Dad, is he all right?"

Ange?Winnie endured the pain and desperately tried to open his eyes, but he couldn't open his eyelids, and could only see a narrow gap. It seemed to be white light outside, but no one could be seen.

"It's all like this, just wait for him to get over it... I hope he won't hate me."

Thales? !Winnie heard the sound of the door closing, as if someone had left.no, don't go!Vinny shook his head uneasily.

Putting a hand on his face, he heard Thales say, "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere."
