All things are born and extinguished by the gathering and dispersal of causes and conditions, that is, the birth and death of causes and conditions; and the results produced by the combination of causes and conditions are called the combination of causes and conditions.All conditioned things are born of causes and conditions. Only causes cannot produce results; only conditions cannot produce results. Only the combination of causes and conditions can produce results.
