Shadow of the Beautiful World

End of this testimonial

One day in June 2019, I wrote the beginning of Shadow Trail.

At that time, I didn't know that this book would be so long.

Until one day in June 2020, I typed the four words of this complete testimonial on the keyboard.

That means another book is over.

I was relieved.

This feeling of relief is different from the previous few times when I finished the book.

It's hard to describe.

I don't know whether it is the release after the bitterness, or the hardest part of the journey has finally been completed.

This book is quite special.

It had too many problems early, mid and late.

These questions come from me personally.

My design of it, control of it, understanding and manipulation of it have deviated from my original plan in almost every aspect.

But that doesn't mean the book was a failure.

It is just not as smooth as the previous ones. Within a preset framework, I tried to fill in too much content, and the world I wanted to express was not born in my pen.

This is a great lesson.

Just like we are walking on the road of life, as long as we are still working hard, making mistakes is inevitable.

Except for those geniuses who are born with knowledge, who can go all the way to the peak of the preset goal without making mistakes?

At the end of this moment, my mood became very relaxed.

Instead of worrying about how to reverse those mistakes, I have worked hard to fix the flaws in the plot and story as much as possible.

Of course, this in itself is inherently flawed.

I still remember that when the book was opened, some readers boldly predicted that this book was finished, it must not be written to the end, and it would definitely collapse.

I was so pissed off and I tried to prove to them that my work wasn't as bad as they made it out to be.

But then many things happened, such as changes in the general environment, violent turmoil in the industry, and the epidemic in 2020, it was like a wave of sea water engulfing me and my book all the way forward.

I think it may not have met the expectations of readers, nor my original vision.

But it's not a failure.

I can list a well-organized rebuttal to tell those pessimistic people at the beginning that this book finally ends with a complete system.

But maybe, we can also do otherwise.

Put those questions and abuse behind your ears, accept your setbacks, admit your shortcomings, and bury your head in the scolding.

I deeply realized that it was really time for me to change the battlefield.

It's not that I've lost my love for fandom.

In fact, I still have too many fan stories to write, but after all, I still have to look forward, go to the original stars, and find my own star.

Set foot on a strange starting point to find your own way.

My words lack a kind of power, lack of penetrating power, and lack of certain feelings and ideas that can be carried.

I don't know yet what I want it to carry, but I'll try to find out.

In the epilogue chapter of this book, I added a short introduction to the next book, trying to break through my own inherent way of writing.

Say goodbye to colleagues for the time being, and try originality.

There are risks, but now is the time to transform yourself.

After all, it's been too long.

This is something that should have been done long ago, but has been delayed until now, but fortunately, it is not too late to start.

So, wash away the dust and have a good rest.

Then at dawn, bid farewell to the past, drink a glass of wine, and embark on a new journey.

I am very honored to still be able to walk with you in the next book.

Love you guys.

10 days ago, on July 21, 2020, the new book has been uploaded.

The title of the book Zuodao Jianghu tells a story of martial arts. I hope the brothers will collect it and support it. Thanks to the old road!
