Although there are still many game works that can be called the ninth art that have not been written, for this book, the story of Golden Wind has come to an end.

Even before the book was finished, I had thought about how I would feel when I wrote the last three words, The book is finished.

Maybe it's loss? Melancholy? emptiness?

But it turns out, no.

Because this is the ending that I have rehearsed countless times in my mind. It is my favorite grand and warm happy ending.

Ending in a lively celebration has always been my favorite way to end.

Life is a bit bitter, and I would rather see a happy ending, so I am willing to write like this.

Vulgar, but vulgar happiness.

For me, that's enough.

I'm happy and relaxed.

I think it's worth being happy to be able to tell the story I wanted to tell completely.

From the time I opened the book in April to now, it has taken nine and a half months and 2.25 million words.
