“Where did you get the money?”

Yin Tong thought that this house cost at least 20 million, so how could it be 9 million? Her eyes widened in surprise, “90 million?!”

Chu Xiang smiled and nodded, “Right? I’m a rich woman now, so come to me when you’re tired and I’ll take care of you for life.”

Yin Tong laughed and rushed over to hug her, “You are so lucky! That Chen Lifeng is not useless, after all. If he hadn’t insisted on going to those events, you would have missed out on this entirely. Fine then, I forgive him just for this!”

Chu Xiang pushed her, “Scram then, you forgave him just like that? Are you even a friend to me now? I won’t forgive him. Sooner or later, he will regret entering the entertainment industry. He has to pay back for all the instances where he took advantage of me!”

Yin Tong gave her a thumbs up and agreed, “No matter what you want to do, I will support you!” She picked up the soup bowl and clinked it with Chu Xiang’s bowl, “Come on, let’s celebrate you finally seeing the true self of that scumbag and getting a new life. Therefore, she would be Yin Tong’s best friend from now on. Yin Tong was someone who liked to do charity work with her own hands. After graduating from university, she often traveled around the world, helping out in places that needed it. Because of that, not keeping in contact for an extended period of time was a normal occurrence.

In terms of understanding, Yin Tong knew the original owner from her childhood days to her adulthood very well. However, due to the original owner’s hectic work schedule and Yin Tong’s unavailability to keep in touch, everything besides their relationship had changed due to them experiencing growth and maturity at different points. Using that as an excuse, Chu Xiang concealed the truth from Yin Tong. The two reunited after a long absence, so they gossiped and ate, not retiring to bed until dawn the next morning. The pile of empty plates on the coffee table were entirely vanquished by the duo.

Being girlfriends, the duo would naturally spend time doing things that only besties could do. They spent almost two days in each other’s presence without a break in between and they had a great time.

‘Extreme Mode’ was about to be recorded. Since it was his first time recording a variety show, Chu Xiang tagged along since she was worried. Yin Tong went back to her own place. Since she hadn’t returned for more than half a year, she still had a lot of things to deal with. She only dropped by with utmost speed because she was worried that Chu Xiang would not be in a good state after going through a heartbreak. After seeing that her best friend was entirely fine, she too, relaxed and attended to her matters.

The production crew of ‘Extreme Mode’ discussed the cooperation plan with Chu Xiang. The first phase was to shoot some outdoor game projects, which included activities like climbing up hills and a tug-of-war session in the water. Every project was noticeably full of vitality.
