Red Dead Redemption Dawn

Chapter 281: Do it yourself

Arthur followed John to the top of the mountain, surrounded by an endless plain. The two waited for a while, and then a large group of goats and sheep appeared on the plain not far away.

The two on the top of the mountain looked at each other, and then dismounted at the same time.

The two took out their binoculars and they saw six cowboys.

"Two less than the eight people Dutch said." Marston said, looking at the telescope, the cowboy who was chasing the goat back and forth.

"So what are we going to do?" Arthur asked.

"Maybe you should shoot them a few times and scare them away without killing them," Marston said.

"Well, good proposal." Arthur said in agreement, then took off the sniper rifle on his back, and then aimed the muzzle at the cowboys who dismounted.

‘bang~bang~bang~’

Arthur fired three shots at the feet of the three cowboys.

The six cowboys were frightened and scattered.

"Well done!" Marston exclaimed while holding the telescope.

"Let's go down and gather the sheep together," Marston said.

"Have you chased cowboys before?" Arthur asked casually, putting his gun on the horse's side.

"No, have you ever had a similar experience?" Marston asked as he mounted his horse.

"Of course not, we're going to take these sheep to Valentine?" Arthur asked again.

"Yes, the folks at Valentine know there's a huge herd of goats and sheep coming to their town, but ~ if it's a few new cowboys coming to collect the money, I don't think they'll have much of an issue. The sheep are already there anyway. It's here, isn't it?" Marston said.

"It makes sense." Arthur nodded.

In the direction of Valentine, Dutch was drinking with Strauss at the Blue Lizard Tavern.

"So, how much have you put in these days?" Dutch asked the gang accountant while drinking whiskey.

"Two thousand six hundred dollars." Strauss, who was wearing glasses and holding a briefcase, said, looking at the document in his hand.

"How much did you take back?"

"With Arthur's help, I got back $2,110, and $1,600 has not been recovered."

"Fake~ We're about to leave this ghost place, but you said the money hasn't been recovered yet?" Dutch tone was a little dissatisfied.

"I'm speeding up the progress. I asked Micah to collect the bills but every time he said he only got the principal back, he really wasn't as capable as Arthur." Strauss complained a little.

"You asked Micah to collect the bill?" Dutch said somewhat incredulously.

"Yes, Arthur refused to go after a few visits, and I couldn't help it," Strauss said.

"Don't hand over the account to Micah in the future, this guy will only hand over the principal." Dutch said helplessly, but there were not many surprises in his tone.

"I'll let Javier try it later," Strauss said.

"Yes~ Let Javier take it back for the rest of the account." Dutch also agreed to let Javier do this.

"Strauss, how long have you been in the gang?" Dutch asked after a few sips of whiskey.

"Me?" Strauss recalled. "About eleven years?"

"Well~ Pretty much the same. What do you think of this gang?" Dutch asked.

"Very well, what's the problem?" Strauss didn't understand why Dutch asked.

"There are more and more people questioning me recently, and I'm wondering if there is something wrong with this gang." Dutch said half-jokingly.

"I don't feel it, maybe they think we can stop living this life of licking blood at the muzzle," Strauss said.

"Muzzle licking blood?" Dutch looked puzzled. "Do you think so?"

"Haven't we always been?" Strauss asked in confusion.

"Fake~ I thought you all always understood my ideals." Dutch said with a sullen look, and then he didn't speak, but drank wine.

Strauss drank the juice with a confused expression. He saw that Dutch was in a bad mood, so he didn't dare to ask.

On the other hand, Arthur and Marston drove the flock into Valentine.

When the workers at the auction site saw it, they also ran over to help drive the sheep into the sheepfold.

Arthur and Marston walked up to the person in charge and said, "Good sheep."

"Not bad." The person in charge looked up and down the two.

"Have you seen better?" Arthur chimed in.

"Half of the sheep I have seen have documents and pasture certificates." The person in charge looked at the two again and said.

"What do you want to say?" Arthur asked in a bad tone.

"What I want to say is that if you give me a 25% rebate, I will treat it as a batch of normal sheep." said the person in charge of the auction.

"Do you understand what you're talking about?" Arthur asked in a low voice.

"Give me twenty-five percent, and I'll let them not shout everywhere." The person in charge still looked confident.

"Do you believe I cut a hole in your forehead?" Arthur stepped forward and threatened.

"25%, the crime of theft in this town is going to be hanged on the gallows, sir." The person in charge also raised his voice.

"15%." Marston stepped forward to bargain.

"20%."

"18%."

"Deal." The person in charge reached out and reached a deal with Marston.

The two sides shook hands.

Then the person in charge also wanted Arthur to extend his hand, and Arthur held it reluctantly.

"Don't get excited, brother, just think that I am helping you atone for your sins." The person in charge said with a smile.

"Yes, you are the atonement, and we are the one who pays." Arthur was still a little dissatisfied.

"Come back after the auction, and I'll give you the money." The person in charge watched the two leave.

"Come on, Dutch is waiting for us at the pub," Marston said to Arthur.

"18%, I thought we were the ones who robbed," Arthur muttered as he mounted his horse.

"Okay, we can still make a lot of money." Marston said calmly.

"Thank you, you helped a lot along the way, you can't swim or drive sheep." Arthur mocked.

"Okay, Arthur, we're not children." Marston said impatiently.

"Yes, we were never, we were robbers, thieves, fraudsters and murderers," Arthur scoffed. The two entered the town, and Arthur followed Marston to the Blue Lizard Tavern.

Marston and Arthur both tied their horses.

"Come on, brother, I'll treat you to a glass of whisky." Marston was in a good mood.

Arthur silently followed behind.

On the other side of town, Milton was meeting his big benefactor.

"Now is not the time, sir." Milton looked helplessly at the famous celebrity 'Levitix Cornwall' throughout the West

Now he was sitting on that noble thoroughbred horse worth five thousand dollars, followed by two dozen well-equipped mercenaries.

"Agent Milton, I gave you enough time and enough money." Cornwall is a fat man with a round face. In fact, he doesn't look too fat. With a height of 185, his body of more than 200 pounds is not a big deal. too fat.

"And what are you doing? Vacation? With my money? I'm fed up with your perfunctory~www.NovelMTL.com~ Just this morning, they took another flock of sheep from one of my ranches. You know what? , Agent Milton?" Cornwall's tone was not serious, but what he said made Milton's face a little hard.

"Mr. Cornwall, we will help you get these sheep back. They can't take them away, so they can only sell them here. Our people have already contacted the auction, and in a month at most, I can disintegrate the entire gang. , but if you intervene, they may flee again, which will make us need more time. They are murderous." Milton tried to keep Cornwall from disturbing Dutch and others.

"I've had enough! The cowardly actions of you people. Since you can't handle it, let me do it myself." Cornwall rejected Milton's suggestion.

"Follow me!" With a wave of Cornwall, more than twenty hired gunmen followed.

"Sir~sir~" Milton called twice, but he still couldn't convince the mighty group of people.

"Are we going to gather our staff?" Ross, who was on the side, looked at Cornwall, who was far away, and asked.

Milton turned his head and glanced at his deputy Ross, then shook his head, "No~ we don't have to do anything, let them hide."

"Hide?" Rose was a little puzzled.

"Yes, since Mr Cornwall thinks these embroidered pillows can handle Dutch, let him try. We don't have to do anything, let them hide in a safe house, I won't let them show up here. During the shootout, go!" Milton ordered.

The three people under his hands left here immediately.

Milton turned around and went back to the hotel.
