Red Dead Redemption Dawn

Chapter 122: Moonshine Business (End)

"Who are you looking for?" A young-looking police officer stopped John.

He looked John up and down.

"Where is the bounty list, go and see if there is one that suits you." He pointed to the bounty list posted on the wall and motioned for John to see it for himself.

"Is Sheriff Baylor here?" John asked.

"Who are you?"

"Go up and tell him, his friend John is coming to find him." After speaking, John pointed to the upstairs sheriff's office with his chin.

The police officer looked at what he was about to say, when a slightly surprised greeting came from the door.

"John?"

John looked back just in time to see a familiar-looking constable, whom John remembered often following Baylor. Baylor had mentioned to him that it was Ryan.

"Hi Ryan, how are you doing?" John greeted him with a smile.

"Captain Ryan." The policeman also greeted Ryan.

Ryan nodded at him and then he said to John with a big smile, "Are you looking for something?"

"Yes, I have something to do with him."

"Come up, head up." Ryan smiled and let John go up by himself. "

John smiled and followed.

The young constable shrugged at the sight and resumed processing yesterday's documents.

Ryan took John to an office on the second floor and knocked on the door.

"Head, things are done, and John is looking for you." Ryan opened the door and motioned for John to enter.

John looked at Baylor's office, which was less than ten square feet.

"John?" Baylor looked up at John who came in and said in surprise.

"Sit. Ryan shut the door and don't let anyone in." Belle gave Ryan an order and then motioned for John to sit down.

Ryan closed the door for the two of them, and then stood in the doorway.

Baylor asked John when the door was closed.

"What's wrong?"

"Who is in charge of the nearby brewing bootleg wine?" John asked bluntly after sitting down.

"Why do you ask that?" Baylor was a little strange.

"I've been spending so much money lately that I'm going to get some bootleg wine," John said.

"Oh, so, on your estate?" Baelor asked again.

"In thieves' lead."

"Is it large?"

"Slightly smaller than Chobuck's, it may be the same size as Chobuck's in the future." John thought for a moment.

"Yeah. Five hundred dollars. Just give it to Ryan on the 20th of every month, and the liquor police in Blackwater Town won't go to the thieves' lead to find trouble for you." Baylor nodded and thought for a while.

"So expensive?" John was surprised.

"It's still expensive? Others like Joe Buck's scale are at least a thousand, and it's not my share." Baylor.

"Then he didn't pay before." John said.

"He's a robber, aren't you? He doesn't dare to get out of the robber's land, how about you?" Belle said bluntly, and then asked, "How's your investigation going?"

"What did you say?" John asked.

"Joseph."

"Delayed by these things, there is no progress."

"My people have found something, you can take a look. See if he is worth your shot to send him to God." Baylor took a sealed bag from the drawer and handed it to John.

John was puzzled by the result, and then opened the search and took out the data to start viewing.

John didn't show any expression during this time, and then he returned it to Baylor.

"Read it?" Baylor took it and put it away.

"Yeah." John nodded without much expression.

"No comments?" Baylor asked.

"You just want me to kill him?" John said with a smile.

"You don't have to come, my people need a little longer." Baylor did not deny his disgust for Joseph. "And it just so happens that you have that plan. If you don't want to do it, something will happen to him after a while."

"We're talking about a rich congressman, not a robber on the bounty list." John reminded with a smile.

"He was already opposed to me when he attacked my informant. They thought they didn't need to care about the police station when the chief was gone. They would regret it." Baylor said contemptuously.

"He'll be demoted in a few days if nothing goes wrong. You'll be promoted, how do you feel about that?" John asked casually.

"Hehe, are you still interested in coming back? I think you're fine in the dock area. He dismissed you obviously." Baylor also said casually.

"Hehe~ I still have something to do. I'll talk to you in a few days." John didn't answer, but got up and said goodbye to Baylor.

"See you." Baylor said, looking at John's back.

Get out of the police station. John took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth, looked up at the sun in the sky, a trace of doubt flashed in his eyes, and then he muttered to himself

"?"

On the other side, on a cliff three kilometers east of Duluo Villa.

Having already returned to the camp, Arthur and Daqi Hosea sat and chatted by a bonfire after eating. He was feeling the beard that had begun to grow, thinking about something.

On the opposite side, Hosea is messing with Daqi's plan a few days later.

"Micah was dispatched by me to Blackwater Town yesterday to investigate the distribution of the police force in the dock area. My plan is very detailed. How is your side?" Dutch sat on a chair smoking a pipe and asked the sad-faced man beside him. Hosea.

"There is no problem with my progress. According to the news from Arthur, the police force in Blackwater Town has indeed been greatly reduced, and our plan is almost complete."

"Do you need me to call two hands over to help you?" Dutch heard asking if he needed help.

"They're just a bunch of liars. Arthur and I are enough to handle it. You need more people on your side." Hosea shook his head and said he didn't need help.

"Arthur, why do you look listless?" Dutch asked looking at Arthur opposite.

"Me? I just haven't sobered up from being drunk, that guy is too drunk." Arthur spit out the tall little white face.

"Really, haha, Arthur, you haven't told me how you met him." Dutch asked with a chuckle.

"He said I was like a friend of his, and then he invited me for a drink and told me some stories about his friend." Arthur recalled the first time he met John.

"It must have been a good story for you to remember him," Hosea said aside.

"It's okay, it's just a common gang story, the only difference is that he thinks me and his friends are very similar." Arthur glanced at Dutch and didn't want to continue~www.NovelMTL.com~ I don't know if it was Not my illusion. ' said Hosea, who was on the side, after recalling it for a while.

"What?" Dutch asked.

"I seem to have seen him, just a few days ago, but I'm not sure." Hosea recalled, and he felt that he had seen John somewhere.

"He said that he has been in Blackwater Town recently, and it's not unusual for you to see it anywhere." Arthur said indifferently, he personally felt that John had no malice towards him, so his intuition towards John was not bad.

"Yes." Hosea didn't say anything.

"It seems that our Arthur has a good impression of him. Maybe you can introduce us to him that day." Dutch felt that Arthur seemed to feel good about this person he had never met.

"Maybe." Arthur didn't deny it.

At this time, there was the sound of horse hooves in the distance, and several people looked up and saw that Micah rode back to the camp on horseback.
