Chi Shuyan had originally planned to book a private room, but when she heard Chef Li’s words, her eyes lit up. Speaking of which, she had been either at the university or at Qi Zhenbai’s apartment lately. She had an imperial chef who could make delicious food, but she couldn’t eat it; it was like holding a big ingot in her hand but being unable to buy any food from the street stalls – how did that make sense?

So, after hearing Chef Li’s words, Chi Shuyan immediately asked Lu Chengfu and Yu Jinzhou if they had eaten. If not, how about she bring someone over to cook for them?

Lu Chengfu and Yu Jinzhou had originally planned to go out and book a private room to eat. When they heard Sister-in-law’s words, they almost thought that she was going to bring Haozi’s eldest cousin over to cook for them.

Lu Chengfu thought of Haozi’s eldest cousin’s usual cold face and aura; he shuddered in fright and hurriedly said, “Sister-in-law, why don’t I cook?”

Chi Shuyan felt that bringing Chef Li over to cook was a good idea. After confirming that the two really weren’t busy, she told them to wait, then took Chef Li to the supermarket to buy groceries.

While Chef Li was buying groceries, Chi Shuyan waited with Han Yu in the car. Chef Li was very quick, and it wasn’t long before he picked out a lot of ingredients. Most of them were what Miss Shuyan liked to eat, and he planned to show off his superb skills today to entertain Miss Shuyan and her friends.

When Chef Li returned to the car, Chi Shuyan drove straight to the apartment where Lu Chengfu and Yu Jinzhou lived together. The two took Li Yu downstairs to pick them up.

Now that their relationship had been exposed, Yu Jinzhou would only stay in the dormitory once in a while. Most of the time, he stayed with Lu Chengfu, and their days had been very comfortable lately

Lu Chengfu was used to being a hedonistic son of a wealthy family who only knew how to eat, drink, and play. Conversely, Yu Jinzhou was mature and considerate, and knew how to do everything. Occasionally, he would specially learn to cook new things.

Although Lu Chengfu didn’t know how to cook, he would help out occasionally. Even if their personalities still clashed now and then, they were very satisfied with their current life together.

When Lu Chengfu saw his sister-in-law get out of the car, he was especially happy. Before Lu Chengfu could get excited, Li Yu saw Shuyan, Grandpa Chef Li and Xiao Yu, and his swollen eyes immediately reddened again. Seeing Chef Li carrying Xiao Yu, he thought that something had happened to him.

Li Yu lunged forward. “Xiao Yu, don’t die! Don’t die! Wahh… don’t die…”

The more he wailed, the louder he got. His voice was almost hoarse. Lu Chengfu and Yu Jinzhou were given a fright. The two men didn’t know how to comfort him for a moment. On the side, Chi Shuyan and Chef Li sweated when they heard his words.

Chi Shuyan didn’t know that this usually arrogant and spoiled little guy could cry so much. Chef Li hurriedly said, “Ninth Prince, Xiao Yu is fine; he’s just asleep now, and will be fine in a while! Besides, with Miss Shuyan around, Xiao Yu will definitely be fine!” Seeing his Ninth Prince staring at him with worry in his teary eyes, Chef Li’s heart softened and he said that he was fine too.

Hearing Chef Li’s words, Li Yu finally stopped crying. Everyone was staring at him, and Chi Shuyan had a faint smile on her face.

Li Yu, who usually valued dignity the most, immediately flushed red and threw himself at Chi Shuyan’s waist without caring about anything else. He didn’t even look up. Chi Shuyan rubbed the little guy’s head. “Okay, go upstairs first. Are you hungry? Let your Grandpa Li show us a few moves!”

With that, she said to Lu Chengfu and Yu Jinzhou, “Will it be inconvenient?”
