It can be said that the newly designed drawings not only solve design problems, but also solve some process manufacturing problems, making manufacturing easier and lower manufacturing costs.

Even if the valves of the same model are sold at the same price, the products designed by Fangbai have greater profit margins.

I have to say that the golden finger assists in drawing, even without CAD, the drawing efficiency is very fast, and only needs to be modified once or twice.

Without the help of golden fingers, under normal circumstances, the products designed by Fang Bai will undergo analysis and discussion by the design department after the new product is designed, and trial production will not begin until a final decision is made.

Problems will be discovered during the trial production process, and then the drawings will be modified and trial production will be restarted.

After the trial production is successful, it does not mean that the designed product is qualified. Various tests must be started for verification.

If major problems are found during the test, the drawings will be modified and trial production will be started again.

Only after the trial production and testing were successful, small batch production was started to verify the process.

If there are no major problems with the process, mass production can begin.

It may only take a few days to draw this set of valves, but subsequent analysis, trial production and verification will take a lot of time, say at least two to three months, or even as long as one or two years.

Moreover, during customer use, problems will be discovered and then continuously optimized.

After a new product is launched, it will take many years of repeated verification and optimization before it can be considered mature.

Therefore, Fang Bai's golden finger helped him save a lot of time and avoid many detours.

For this reason, Fang Bai felt that his golden finger was very abnormal and greatly shortened the development cycle.

If it was still LV3, Fang Bai would still need to create a physical object before he could analyze it, which would waste a lot of time.

After Fang Bai designed the drawing, he went to the mall to make a copy of the drawing and gave it to his father-in-law, asking him to make the mold for the valve body casting.

The valve body is made of WCB material casting, so it needs to be cast, and the manufacturing cost is not low.

The valve body structure is complex, the processing cost is too high, and the processing is very difficult. Casting is generally used, and the manufacturing cost is low.

However, the material density of castings is definitely not as good as that of forgings, and castings have many problems, such as common sand inclusions, pores, and riser problems.

This casting process has been like this for decades, and even after twenty or thirty years, there has been no qualitative change.

Fangbai has already noticed this problem when designing the valve body, and mainly solves it structurally, so that the metal liquid can flow into various parts smoothly during the casting process.

At the same time, Fang Bai prepared the information for patent application.

After preparing the appearance patent, utility model patent and invention patent information, apply together. Although Fang Bai has never dealt with patent matters, he still knows something about it.
