Ji Yang immediately rejected her idea. “How does that sound okay to you? You’re having a fever now and a high one at that!”

Mu Siyin could not help but act pitiful. “But I’m really fine. Besides, I’m starving. We should just go over after we eat. It won’t take long. Please grant my only wish.”

Ji Yang felt frustrated when she saw how reluctant Mu Siyin was. “You’re not a baby anymore. Why are you still so scared to see the doctor?”

Since Ji Yang had graduated from military school, Mu Siyin’s body weight was nothing to her. With Mu Siyin’s arms around her, Ji Yang carried her friend over her back and rushed out of the door without another word.

Mu Siyin could indistinctly feel Ji Yang carrying her and was touched by her actions. Her voice was coarse as she muttered, “Ever since my mother and sister passed away, only you and Qui Ci have treated me well, Yangyang.”

After saying that, Mu Siyin added, “Oh yeah. There’s Shi Beiyu now too…”
