With a knife on his back, Rice came to the naval base.

The naval base in Rogue Town is a blue building with a seagull printed on the wall, holding a scale, and the English word MARINE below, all in blue. It symbolizes the navy's maintenance of justice and suppression of the sea.

Two soldiers in navy uniforms stood straight at the door, with majesty in their eyes. When

Rice walked forward, the two soldiers immediately stretched out their hands to stop him, saying seriously:"Sir, this is a navy important place, no one is allowed to enter."

Rice said:"I have news about Straw Hat Luffy, take me to see your commander."

The two soldiers were surprised, looked at each other, and saw the tension in each other's eyes. The soldier on the right said:"I will report to the commander, you wait first."

Rice nodded, and the soldier hurried into the hall.

After a while, the soldier returned to the door and saluted Rice:"Sir, please come in. Our commander wants to see you in person, I hope you are not lying."

Rice smiled and said:"Of course not." He followed the soldier on the right into the hall.

The two walked in the corridor and met naval officers during the period, all of whom were in a hurry and nervous.

As a must-go town on the East China Sea Grand Route, Rogue Town has many pirates coming and going. Therefore, the navy's affairs are also very busy.

The soldier took Les to the fourth floor and stopped in front of a door.

The soldier raised his hand and knocked on the door. A heavy male voice came from the door,"Come in."

The soldier gently turned the door handle and walked into the room, and Les followed in.

A middle-aged man wearing a cloak of justice sat in the main seat. He had an ordinary face and a clean-shaven beard, but he had the aura of a superior.

In front of him was a wooden desk piled with documents. The soldier raised his hand and saluted:"Report, the person has been brought."

Lieutenant Colonel Mod raised his head, looked at Les, raised his hand and waved:"Okay, you go down."

The soldier stood straight and said with full energy:"Yes!" After that, he turned and went out, closed the door and closed it gently.

Les sighed, this Smoker's men are not bad, and they are in good spirits.

Mod straightened his back and raised his hand to signal:"Sir, please sit down."

Les sat on the wooden chair opposite as he was told, with a calm look.

Mode smiled kindly:"I'm Lieutenant Colonel Mode, what's your name sir?"

Rice smiled and said,"My name is Rice."

Mode nodded:"Mr. Rice, you said you know news about Straw Hat Luffy? What is it? If it is true, you can give me a reward at your discretion."

Rice said,"Before I tell Straw Hat Luffy the news, I want to know if you are the supreme commander of Rogue Town now."

Mode frowned secretly, a little displeased, and nodded:"I am the supreme commander of Rogue Town for the time being."

Rice breathed a sigh of relief. It was not until now that he was sure that Smoker was no longer in Rogue Town. This made it easy. Although he might not be able to beat Smoker, it would be better not to fight if he could. After all, once he lost, he might have no chance of turning over.

Rice relaxed and said,"Lieutenant Colonel Mode, Straw Hat Luffy is heading to Alabasta now. It is estimated that he will land in Alabasta in a few days. I hope that he can take me and my companions to Alabasta."

And it is Colonel Smoker's responsibility to chase Straw Hat Luffy. I can't take the warship to Alabasta, let alone take you."

Rice looked regretful:"So, we can't go to Alabasta?"

Lieutenant Colonel Mode nodded:"Please wait for the news, Mr. Rice, I will ask someone to verify it."

Rice sighed and looked regretful:"Then there is no way." He thought to himself that plan A had failed.

Les's eyes began to become a little unscrupulous, and he smiled:"Lieutenant Colonel Mode, I have a request that I hope you can agree to. I need a permanent pointer and a recording pointer to Alabasta, and a good warship. I wonder if you can sell it to me?"

Lieutenant Colonel Mode suspected that he had heard it wrong. Buy and sell? What does this guy think he is? A businessman? Besides, two pointers and a warship are not something he can decide.

:"Then I only want the pointer?"

Lieutenant Colonel Mode said unhappily:"Mr. Les, didn't you hear it clearly? The pointer is not for sale!" He thought to himself that the pointer can only be applied for when going on a mission, how could I have it? Even if I have it, I can't sell it. That would be a felony that would lead to expulsion from the army and going to the military court.

Rice waved his hands and said helplessly:"In that case, I'm sorry, Lieutenant Colonel Mod, I really need the pointer! And I'm in a hurry."

Lieutenant Colonel Mod became alert and frowned at Rice, with a bad premonition.

After kneeing Mod for more than ten times, Rice stopped when he felt that Mod's resistance became weak, and took out nylon rope to tie up his hands and feet.

In just a few seconds, Rice captured Mod alive.

Mod said weakly with blood foam in his mouth:"Who are you? What do you want to do? There is no strong man like you in the East China Sea."

Rice said helplessly:"I just want to do a good thing."

Mod was silent. He didn't believe it. Would a good man beat up the navy at the naval base?

Rice said:"Lieutenant Colonel Mod, where is the pointer of Alabasta."

Mod's face was pale and sweaty. At this time, he smiled miserably:"Les, I don't have any permanent pointer here."

Rice frowned:"In that case, Commander Mod, please call for help and ask your superior to redeem you. Remember to ask him to bring the record pointer and the permanent pointer of Alabasta."

Mod was silent. His pride as a navy would not allow him to compromise with the thugs.

Seeing him silent, Rice's eyes flashed fiercely, and he threatened in a deep voice:"Commander Mod, if you don't cooperate, then I will have to be rude to your men."
