My Skills Have Special Effects

Happy April Fool's Day: Final Thoughts

Just for fun on April Fool's Day, just finish the book.

It's really finished.

That’s it.

I can’t write anymore.

Before I knew it, it had been one year and three months.

When I started writing this book, my goal was to write as much as possible, even if I didn’t have much time, and even if I couldn’t meet the basic requirement of 4,000 updates a day, I still had to write. .

Thank you all for supporting me until now. It is really your support that allows me to keep writing until now. Thank you very much.

The beginning of this book is actually quite awkward. When I started writing it, I just had a rough idea of the design of Goldfinger. I wrote more than a dozen chapters and failed to pass the internal submission, but the editor suggested that I could sign a contract with Straight Hair, so I I just had to bite the bullet and write it down.

During the process, because I was very poor, I couldn’t grasp the rules of the story at all, and I didn’t have much time to polish it, so there were many poisonous points in the early stage. There were many poisonous points in places such as Brother Wang’s place, the old lady’s big pussy, etc. There was really nothing we could do about it, just because we were too weak at that time and couldn’t grasp it well.

Later, in chapters 70 and 80, various strange things happened, and I felt that my writing skills had improved, and some parts were well written.

But I let myself go in terms of the plot, and I was pressed for time. I often came up with ideas as soon as they came up, and wrote them directly when inspiration came to me. Various settings were piled up, resulting in many places where the transitions were blunt and fragmented.

For example, the fog surrounding Ding'an City was added at once. From the previous seventy or eighty chapters, there is actually no foreshadowing related to this setting at all.

After adding it, the setting of Qinggami was added, the setting of Qinggami was added, the communication method between the planets, and even the final settings of the spirit invasion were all added in a hurry and recklessly.

Including the design of Goldfinger, it is actually lacking in excitement, which is of course related to my lack of grasp of the rhythm of the story.

There is a short period in the middle period that I feel quite satisfied with.

The section about the old monk looking at the moon, the Buddha's corpse creating a Buddha, and the weird man in wooden armor was very smooth and smooth. It was one of the few passages that I devoted myself to writing for several days in a row.

It's a pity that this sense of atmosphere is only short-lived. Later, when I wrote the part inside the body of the Turtle Spirit Virgin Mother and the Flyfly Insect Demon, I knew it would be boring as soon as I wrote it.

But there was nothing I could do. What I thought at that time was to give him 4,000 words a day, get perfect attendance, and get more money!

Squeeze out time and write as soon as you put pen to paper, two thousand words in an hour, without thinking or thinking, it’s amazing if something good comes out.

Then the next two hundred or so chapters are the same, two thousand words in one hour, I don’t think about anything, I just write as I go, and I finish it in one hour every day.

So much so that in the long part I wrote, I was actually very tired, but not really tired. After all, it only lasts for one hour, so how tired I can be.

It's just that I'm tired, that feeling of rushing to work instead of creating.

So to summarize this book, there are three stages in total.

The first sixty or seventy chapters were a stage, a novice stage, where I spent a lot of effort but couldn't write a feeling.

Sixty or seventy to a little over two hundred is the improvement stage. The rhythm is better and there are many novel settings.

The next two hundred or so chapters were completely rushed and written very quickly, but I can't even recall any particularly obvious highlights in the process.

Thank you all for seeing this, and thank you very much for your continued support.

I am also preparing for a new book. The editor has already finished the manuscript, but I don’t have much time at the moment. I want to devote myself fully to the next book, at least to ensure that I have enough updates.

I will probably start publishing the book in July. The tentative title is: "Walker of the Abyss: I used hot weapons to push across the Tang Dynasty". It is exciting but not brainless. Friends who are interested can pay attention to it when the time comes.

Finally, the flowers are finished!

Thanks! (End of chapter)
