The interlude ended quickly. Looking at the few people being dragged away, Jiabo lost his mood to continue the performance.

He held down the headset to prepare for the next show, and then walked backstage amid the cheers of the crowd.

After a while, Jiabo, who had put on his original clothes, returned to the booth. Everyone high-fived him.

"Man, you gave me a big surprise tonight. I really didn't expect it."

Ethan sat back on the sofa and threw out a cigarette.

Jia Bo picked up a cigarette and said proudly:

"Welcome to New York."

After they continued playing for half an hour, Jabber winked at Ethan.

Ethan understood instantly. He picked up the wine glass, covered his mouth with his hand and said to 36E's ear:

"Are you interested in sitting somewhere else?"

36E hesitated and replied: "I came here with two friends."

Ethan sighed softly, thinking that he would be in vain tonight.

36E scratched his thigh with her fingertips and continued:

"Can you hit three with one?"

Ethan's eyes lit up and he looked next to her. There were four or five girls sitting at 36E.

Catching his gaze, a girl with fair skin wearing a sequined skirt and a girl with slender thighs and a proud figure were close to each other.

The two of them looked at him with a smile and then kissed each other.

Ethan drank all the wine in the cup and said with fierce eyes:

"One against three, no problem."

The next day, Ethan rarely got up from sleeping until the afternoon. After removing the thigh that was pressing on him, he carefully avoided the sleeping women, picked up the jeans that were thrown on the ground, and put them on.

When I walked out of the room, I almost tripped over the thong on the floor.

When he came to the living room, he sat down on the bean bag sofa, took the hookah pipe from Jabber, put on a disposable cigarette holder, and started smoking.

Jia Bo was wearing a silk nightgown and had two dark circles under his eyes. He yawned deeply.

"What time did you call until?"

Ethan bit his cigarette holder and stretched out eight fingers according to the old American habit.

"I'm going to go back to sleep. I'll make my own arrangements today."

Jabber gave two thumbs up and then staggered back to his room.

After Ethan washed up, he went out in high spirits.

Because he was not familiar with New York, he didn't drive. He called a taxi, gave the name of the place, and then closed his eyes to rest.

Not long after, the taxi stopped. Ethan got out of the car and looked at the small building opposite with the business card in his hand.

"careful."

After a shout, Ethan was violently thrown aside.

Then there was a loud "bang", and a huge flower pot fell on the place where he was standing.

Thick tiles were everywhere. Pedestrians on the street turned back one after another and continued their hurried pace after realizing that there was nothing interesting to see.

Ethan turned over and looked upstairs in a cold sweat.

On the third floor, a pure husky glanced at him, then opened the window and jumped back into the house.

"Farke."

He cursed secretly, climbed up by holding on to the ground, and then pulled up the man who rescued him.

The middle-aged white man with short hair was wearing an ordinary black suit. His face was sickly pale, and there was a blood stain on his face.

"Thanks."

Ethan thanked him seriously. If it hadn't been for him just now, he would have been hit in the head by such a big flowerpot, and he would have died.

The man ignored him and hurriedly picked up the things scattered on the ground.

When he rescued Ethan just now, the white cloth bag in his hand fell aside, and some letters fell out of it.

Ethan quickly squatted down to help, but when his fingers touched the letter, he was blocked by the man.

"I can do it myself." The man's deep voice sounded.

Ethan had no choice but to take his hand back and saw a pair of sunglasses falling on the ground. He picked them up and handed them to the short-haired man.

"Are these your sunglasses?"

The short-haired man squinted his eyes and put the letters that had fallen on the floor back into the bag. He quickly took the sunglasses and put them on the bridge of his nose, as if he was afraid of light.

He put on his sunglasses, turned around and wanted to leave, but Ethan grabbed him.

"Sir, you are a little injured. Let me take you to have a look. There is a clinic opposite."

The short-haired man wiped his face and found that there was nothing serious, and then said in a deep voice:

"No."

After putting down his words, he turned around and left in a hurry.

Looking at his leaving figure, Ethan scratched his head and then kicked away the broken tiles on the ground.

After dusting off his body, Ethan looked at the passing cars, crossed the street, and walked towards the clinic on the opposite side.

After opening the door, Ethan walked straight to the front desk. He held the business card in his hand and said to the aunt sitting inside:

"Hello, I'm looking for Dr. Sebastian."

"Do you have an appointment?"

The aunt at the front desk put down the phone and looked at the reservation book in her hand.

Ethan said embarrassedly: "I contacted her a few days ago, but I forgot to make an appointment yesterday."

The aunt at the front desk looked at Ethan’s handsome face, shook her head and said:

"Dr. Sebastian and everyone else in our clinic are out doing free medical services in the community and are no longer here."

"Why don't you call her and make an appointment again?"

Ethan had no choice but to put the business card back in his trouser pocket, nodded, and said to the aunt at the front desk:

"thanks, I will."

"Wait a minute, if you are in a hurry, our clinic provides free community medical services not far away."

The aunt at the front desk continued: "After you go out, walk a few hundred meters to the right to a park in the middle of the street, where you can find her."

"alright, thank you very much."

There was nothing to do now anyway, so after Ethan thanked the aunt at the front desk, he turned right when he went out and strolled over.

A few minutes later, we arrived at a park in the middle of the street.

There was a medical vehicle parked in the park, and several people wearing blue medical aid coats were busy. There was a long queue next to it.

Ethan lit his cigarette and walked to the flower bed nearby to sit down.

Seeing people joining the team from time to time next to the medical vehicle, he shook his head. It seemed that he was not here at the right time today, and Dr. Sebastian should be unavailable.

"Can I borrow a fire?"

A crisp voice sounded, and Ethan raised his head to look.

A woman wearing a blue medical emergency jacket stood in front of him, shaking the cigarette in her hand.

The sleeves of her coat were rolled up, revealing her fair forearms, which looked very capable.

Her orange-red hair was tied into a big braid and tossed to her chest, and her eyes were as bright as water.

"No problem at all."

Ethan picked up the lighter and helped her light the cigarette.

The red-haired woman took a puff of cigarette and said to him:

"Are you here to see a doctor too?"

Ethan shook his head, "I'm here to see Dr. Sebastian, but she shouldn't be free now."

The red-haired woman flicked off her cigarette and asked, "What do you want to see her for?"

Ethan glanced at her and said nothing.

"I am Mary Sebastian" the red-haired woman smiled and stretched out her hand.
