"Can I trust you?"

After Hood took a few puffs of cigarette, he said something incomprehensible.

"That's up to you," Ethan replied.

While Hood was silent, Ethan saw the nurse coming from a distance. He quickly put out the cigarette butt and threw it into the trash can.

"Hey, why do you smoke in the ward? It's not good for the patients. Do you have a sense of ethics?"

The fat nurse moved her mouth, making Hood stunned for a while.

Hood held the cigarette butt in embarrassment. When he didn't know what to do, the nurse took it away and put it out twice.

Ethan looked at the ceiling and suppressed a smile.

"Ethan Morgan."

Ethan quickly sat up straight and looked at his appearance. The fat nurse's tone became gentle, "Why are you up? According to yesterday's examination, you will have to lie down for at least two or three days."

"It's okay. My body has recovered well and there are no problems now. Can you help me get discharged from the hospital?"

"No, you can't be discharged from the hospital yet."

"How about you call the doctor over for me to check it out? Thank you."

Seeing Ethan's serious and handsome face, the fat nurse softened her heart.

"You have to be careful. You can't smoke in the ward." She sighed, turned and left the ward, and warned Hood before leaving.

"Go to Davis Bar in the afternoon and I'll wait for you there." Hood said angrily and left in a hurry.

After examination, although the doctor was very surprised at his recovery speed, he had been practicing for a long time and had never seen anyone before.

After telling him not to exercise strenuously, Ethan was quickly discharged from the hospital accompanied by Siobhan. As for Emmett, the injury on his arm had not healed yet and he could only continue to be hospitalized for recuperation.

“Ethan, why were you discharged from the hospital so quickly?”

Brock held a report and looked at Ethan in surprise.

"I'm feeling much better. By the way, are there any new clues about the man last night?"

"A nationwide wanted order has been issued. There is no news yet. You don't have to be in such a hurry to come back. We have no problem."

"I know that. I'm just coming back to get some equipment. You go ahead and do your work."

After Ethan said hello to Brock, he went straight to the equipment room. After getting another soft body armor, he hesitated and took another armpit holster.

"Are you sure you can do it? It doesn't matter if you rest for a few more days."

Siobhan looked at him worriedly after helping Ethan put on his body armor and gun holster.

"Don't worry, I just have a day off today and can go to work tomorrow."

"This is just in case." Ethan patted the body armor and smiled and rubbed Siobhan's head.

Siobhan pushed his hand away angrily and went out to patrol. Ethan stood in front of the full-length mirror and adjusted his equipment to make it comfortable.

After saying goodbye to Brock and the others, Ethan walked out of the police station. The Dodge Challenger was still parked in the corner of the parking lot.

He walked around the car and looked around. Fortunately, he was not hit by a stray bullet last night, otherwise he would be heartbroken.

Ethan closed the car door, touched the injured area on his waist and ribs, his eyes became fierce.

He quickly took out the Python revolver from the space, opened the magazine and checked it, then stuffed it into the holster under his arm. The Glock 17 at his waist was also loaded with bullets.

After going home and taking a shower, Ethan rested for a while, and after seeing that the time was almost up, he drove to Davis Bar.

Pushing open the door of the bar, Candy was wiping the bar in the quiet bar. Jabber was also inside, sitting on the chair next to him.

When Jia Bo heard someone coming in, he quickly closed the laptop in front of him.

"Ethan, do you have the day off today?"

Seeing Ethan nod, Candy hesitantly grabbed the towel on his hand, "I'm very sorry, it's not business hours yet. Do you want to go somewhere else to sit?"

"Hood called me here."

Ethan knew that they were all in the same group, so after saying a word, he walked straight to the bar and pulled out a chair to sit down.

"Three bottles of Heineken, thank you."

Candy had no choice but to put three bottles of beer in front of him. Ethan pushed one of them aside, picked up one and drank it. The slightly bitter taste shocked him.

"This bottle is mine. I promised to drink with you last time."

Seeing that Jiabo didn't take action, he said.

"Jiabo shook his head and smiled, smoothed up his black wig and picked up the beer bottle.

He changed his wig today, looking like a hedgehog, but the clothes on his body were still so indescribable.

"Do you know each other?"

Candy asked curiously, still wiping the bar counter slowly with her hands.

"The second time we meet, the remaining bottle is yours."

After Ethan replied to Candy, he lit his cigarette and the bar became quiet again.

Soon, the door of the bar was pushed open again, this time it was Hood.

He walked to the bar and sat down solemnly, sitting in a row with Ethan and Jabber. Seeing Hood's serious look, Candy stopped what he was doing.

Hood rubbed his hands and said in a hoarse voice:

"The man who attacked you last night with the black spider tattoo on his neck is named Orek. He is a member of a criminal organization in New York."

"WTF, what happened? That bastard made me blow up my hair salon."

As soon as he finished speaking, Jiabo felt as if he had said something he shouldn't have said, and quickly closed his mouth.

Ethan nodded silently. He continued to take a sip of beer and would not post any comments for the time being.

"Jiabo, please be quiet first."

"This criminal organization does all kinds of business, and their members are basically all Ukrainians." Hood pressed his hand on the table and continued to talk to Ethan and Candy:

"They are very united and they take revenge. This is their way of survival."

"Their leader's name is Rabbit. There is an unresolved issue between him and me. This time he came for me."

Candy stood up and asked slowly:

"What is the strength of this rabbit you are talking about?"

"The rabbit he was talking about has the ability and the will to kill us all." Jabber saw Hood say something else. He threw the wig on the table and picked up the wine bottle depressedly.

Candy looked into Hood's eyes and continued to ask, "Then what are you going to do?"

Hood responded in a deep voice, "I want to stay here."

"Is there something wrong with your brain? What the two of us have to do is run for our lives and get out of here right now."

Hood held Jiabo's hand, "I can't leave. It was my appearance that attracted them here. If I leave, what will happen to Carly? What will happen to her family?"

"I don't care about her, could Rabbit kill his own daughter?"

Jia Bo continued to say excitedly: "Besides, Carly also captured you and locked you up in handcuffs and left you with the rabbit in exchange for her own safety. If it weren't for me, you would be dead. Have you forgotten all this?"

"You know rabbits can be killers, and as for Carly..."

When Hood mentioned Carly, his words stopped and his eyes became gentle.

"Fake, did you get together with her again? I knew you would die from that woman." Jaber took a sip of beer angrily.

"I think it would be difficult for a police sergeant from Oregon to interact with criminal organizations in New York." Ethan played with the beer bottle and said leisurely.

"So, what is the identity of the District Attorney's wife, Carly?"

"Chief, what is your identity?"
