It was Sword Two who took him out of the capital. Xie Yan already met him at Xinlin Mansion, but they barely spoke. Xie Yan did not normally go out of the Xinlin Mansion for a walk, because Sword Two was not Gu Chaoyan's private guard and he was not usually around.

Xie Yan saw Sword Two, but didn't see Gu Chaoyan.

He had thought that the girl would at least see him off, since it was the last day for her to keep him, but she was not around.

Xie Yan subconsciously wanted to wait a little longer.

When he hesitated, Sword Two felt a bit confused so he spoke to Xie Yan. "Mr. Xie, we should leave soon. The Crown Prince's men are still hunting you, so the capital as well as the neighboring areas are not safe. So when we go out of the capital, we need to go a bit further and find a hostel to stay before evening.

Xie Yan gasped. He looked at what was inside. What a complete underground passage in such a small Xinlin Mansion, how did they build it in the capital?

Even the Crown Prince could not build something like this inside the city. And yet Gu Chaoyan did!

"What is going on? Who made this?" Xie Yan asked.

Sword Two looked proud too, as he said pointing at the underground passage. "This passage leads to the outskirts of the capital. After we pass this underground passage, we will be out of the city."

"Your Elder Miss made it? She could dig a passage that leads us out of the city?!"
