Mr. Xiao's Unconditional Love

"Hello, I am Ye Qiao, Zhenzhen's sister," Ye Qiao added politely before catching up with Ye Zhenzhen.

The manager was dumbstruck.

How could the beautiful girl be the unsophisticated girl from the countryside that their boss kept telling them about?

The girl was anything but unsophisticated.

In fact, she was much more gorgeous than Ye Zhenzhen.

The sisters arrived before their parents, so they were the only ones in the commodious partitioned room.

"Ye Qiao, what's wrong with you this evening? What are you planning to do?" Ye Zhenzhen started bombarding her with questions.

Ye Qiao sized up the girl in a puffy skirt. Amused by the questions, she said, "I have never felt more right about my life. Zhenzhen, stick to being a nice princess, and quit fighting with me."

The spoilt girl used to have no respect for Ye Qiao and took delight in making caustic comments about her. However, she never actually caused her any harm. If she kept her distance this time, Ye Qiao would definitely do the same.

"How dare you!?" Ye Zhenzhen was infuriated by her remark.

Ye Qiao said no more and walked straight out of the dining room.

Qin Lan walked in with her analog cell phone and was greeted immediately by Ye Zhenzhen.

"Where's the seductive creature that you've been babbling about?" Qin Lan asked hurriedly, for the only person she could see in the dining room was her daughter.

Her daughter called her during the day and vividly described Ye Qiao as a foxy vixen, like the sexually seductive spirit from the book 'the Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio.'

Ye Zhenzhen called multiple times to tell her the same story, but Qin Lan was not really bothered. Nevertheless, it had been days since she invited Ye Qiao to dinner, so she asked Ye Shengxun to see if he agreed for Ye Qiao to join. He did, so she asked her daughter to invite Ye Qiao along.

She assumed that Ye Qiao would not join, even if asked.

After all, she never joined their family dinners.

"She's just walked out! Mom, I'm telling you. Ye Qiao has completely evolved into a foxy lady for real! She's so sly and seductive! Even I am a little intimidated by her," Ye Zhenzhen quickly explained.

Qin Lan scoffed at her. "Girl, you need to grow up."

"Mom, it's true! She's really turned into a fox! She tried to seduce Brother Beixiao just today. Even he was entranced by her beauty!" Ye Zhenzhen spoke even louder as she got more desperate.

Meanwhile, Qin Lan only dismissed it as a joke.

"To seduce Beixiao? Forget it. Could Beixiao possibly be interested in that boorish and unrefined girl? I truly wonder if she will ever get married at all!" The door was pushed open as soon as Qin Lan stopped.

Ye Shengxun was seen standing at the door, entirely displeased. Ye Qiao stood behind him as they had just met in the corridor.

The mother-daughter bitter remarks about Ye Qiao was exposed.

An awkward silence followed.

Qin Lan was a smart woman. Although she very much regarded Ye Qiao as a pain, she never showed her irritation, at least in front of Ye Shengxun. She had to play the role of a caring and precious stepmother.

"Ye, there you are! You got here right on time!" Qin Lan quickly changed the subject with warm greetings and pretended that the conversation never happened. Stealthily, she gave Ye Zhenzhen a pinch on the arm.

"Hello, dad!" Ye Zhenzhen quickly responded with a delightful smile.

Still upset, Ye Shengxun stood unmoving at the door.

"Zhenzhen, go and look for your sister! She's probably lost somewhere," Qin Lan said in a hasty manner, as though she cared.

"Sure!" Ye Zhenzhen mirrored her mother's concern. But just when she was about to leave the table, Ye Shengxun finally entered the room, followed by Ye Qiao.

Qin Lan was impressed by the gorgeous young lady that entered the room. For a moment, she thought that the young woman was a celebrity. However, the more she looked at her, the more she reminded her of someone she knew.
