Monsters Will Die if They Are Killed
Summary at the end of the second volume (including update time voting)
The second volume is over, just as this volume is on the shelves, 17w words have been updated in 15 days, and 15 updates have been released on the day it was put on the shelves, and it has been updated several times in a row since then, I feel that I have surpassed my limit again.
I feel quite emotional while writing all the way, a little bit of emotion.
But before I talk about my thoughts, let me explain the update time. I hope that all friends who follow the update will leave a message below. As for the book friends who don't follow the update, you are all fattened anyway, so it doesn't matter the update time.
In the recent period, some book friends have been asking me to respond, saying that updating at 0:00 every morning is too tortured, and I can’t sleep well. Within hours, all readers can see the latest chapter no matter what time it is - they say they stayed up all night waiting for the next day's update, and there is nothing I can do about it, it's not my fault.
In order to allow readers to sleep well, I thought of several update times for everyone to decide.
1: Update at 0 am, same as before.
2: Update at 6 am.
3: Update at 12 noon.
4: Other. The specific requirements are left in this chapter.
This is roughly the case, and since today is the end of the volume, and a new volume of detailed outline is to be written, tomorrow's update may be a little later, and the update time will be stable from the day after tomorrow, and we will also give you a time to vote.
That's about it.
The main body of the second volume is about the Shenmu World about the Panyan Undead Tree, and the story of the protagonist who has achieved extraordinary achievements, participated in the holy election test, and gradually rose in the earth world.
Because when I designed this dungeon, Sekiro happened to be on sale, so I played the ending of Dragon Homecoming (in fact, the outline of this book was written very early, and the dungeons were written one after another), so I chatted with a few author friends about China Is there a big bunch of dragons and gods over there, so I wrote the initial outline by hand - it just fits Yala's identity, and it can also involve the concept of the great existence that was originally designed, the gods tree.
Of course, this book is not a fan of a wolf.
By the way, if someone says I'm watery, but doesn't explain where the water is, I will delete all such comments. This is a matter of personal writing rhythm. If I really want water, I can write 200,000 words in the five months after the physical test. , kill a few demons in the middle, get rid of a few extraordinary families, and abuse the southern leader of the Spiritual Society, and even travel to another world... My God, it’s not only 200,000 words, but at least 400,000 words The content is complete.
Of course I wouldn't write like this, although the plot is just as reasonable, but the rhythm is too slow.
The reason why I said so much is just to be puzzled, I have obviously simplified the plot so much, why do people still talk about water?
I didn't even give names to the characters that have nothing to do with the plot, and the ones that were given names are all characters that will definitely appear in the future, that is, supporting roles.
Supporting roles are the guys whose fate is influenced by the protagonist. Their stories are the derivatives brought about by the protagonist changing the world. I think it is a very important part of shaping a world. Otherwise, from the perspective of the protagonist, there must be many places that are blank.
Whether it is Ma Jing, Tang Yuan or Guoshi, when I write their stories, I never want water, and I can even regard them as my personal pursuit.
Don't talk about this, this is a matter of personal writing habits, I will not change it, and I will not think it is a shortcoming.
The real shortcoming I think is more serious is that the Shenmu world is relatively long. When I showed the detailed outline to my friends and editors, they all said it was a bit long. The first different world should be shorter and faster, so I thought about it. Don't write it in two paragraphs, that is, start from the chapter of Thoughts in the Dark and write about Zhan Guoshi and Devil Emperor later.
But I thought about it, and decided that it would be better to write it in one go, so that my own writing would be cool and in line with the logic of the protagonist—but if this is the case, it is inevitable to miss and follow up, and it seems that the plot is somewhat indistinguishable.
The success of this book on the shelves is not bad. The first order has nearly 4,000, and it is a high-quality product on the first day. The follow-up results and monthly tickets are also very gratifying. Compared with the previous book, it is more than double the progress.
But how to say, after writing this book, I also vaguely discovered that the problem of restricting my book and various poisonous points that other people always complain about come from myself. Because I am a person with simple thinking, and I always pass the tutorial quickly (not skip) when playing games, and kill all the way, so some thinking logic may be really rough, and I am in the second grade.
My thinking logic is that when encountering a dungeon, I will 'enter, kill monsters, and complete the task', and when encountering a boss, it is 'find a routine and kill him' - I prefer to write a little bit of world setting rather than strategizing and analyzing things. Write some stories from other perspectives, that will give me a pleasure to write.
Therefore, the characters and plots in my works may sometimes reveal this point.
This is the sequelae caused by playing too many games such as Monster Hunter God Eater. There is no plot, just killing monsters, which is also very enjoyable, and the battle process in the brain is too detailed. Live wanting to write.
But novels can’t be written in this way. The novel needs to be detailed and concise, and the primary and secondary are clear. I didn’t do this very well, and the anticipation of the plot was not well mobilized. These are all problems that need to be solved, and they are all difficult. As for the ending, I hope that in the next writing process, the more I write, the better.
In the past 15 days since it was released, the new book monthly ticket list can stay in the top ten. I am really grateful to my new and old book friends. By the way, I would like to thank myself. The order has dropped to seven hundred, which is not to be described as terrible.
In other words, this shows that although the pace of this book may still be problematic, it is definitely an improvement compared to me before.
All in all, thank you for reading, the story in the third volume is more exciting-if it is not exciting, it will hit the street.
And thanks to all the book friends who gave rewards, you are awesome, 5555!
Finally, ask for a monthly ticket... Although it feels a bit annoying to say it every day, it is a request that should be asked.
