The grass was pressed flat. It looked like a gigantic monster was snorkeling in a green ocean.

Dumby's body emitted tiny volts of electricity. Sharp teeth glistened coldly from its wide-open mouth as it sensed a threat.

The bush at the other end of the pond was smashed by a head as big as a car. Two large eyes hung above the green head like lanterns. The eyes were serene and steady. It rushed into the quiet pond, which was blasted away in a flash.

It was the Giant Jungle Anaconda. Gao Peng's heart tightened as he realized he was in its territory.

Green-skinned frogs leaped out of the pond one after another. They bent their legs and jumped into the air, seeking escape. Gao Peng even saw a Green-skinned frog leap out of the pond and stomp on the water's surface desperately, making loud splashing noises as it twisted its butt and fled to the shore in a few steps.

Later, this Green-skinned frog turned its head and croaked anxiously at the Giant Jungle Anaconda, which had already immersed half its body in the pond.

Some Green-skinned frogs even spit at the Giant Jungle Anaconda. Of course, one should not speak with such impoliteness. Rather, these Green-skinned frogs shot water arrows at the Giant Jungle Anaconda.

The water arrows that pierced through the tree bark, left an imprint on the trunk, hit the Giant Jungle Anaconda, and produced faint sounds. It was like hitting a cow's hide, the sound low and sullen.

The Giant Jungle Anaconda didn't seem bothered. It acted like a bully pushing its way into someone's home as its endless body continuously moved forward through the bush, then into the pond, disrupting the serenity.

Its body was between 100 and 130 feet.

Gao Peng looked a little heavy-hearted. Though this Giant Jungle Anaconda was only level 20, in certain areas it was better than Commander tier monsters that exceeded that level.

There were quite a few giant mutant variants. Gao Peng had seen several of them: the Dead Leaf Locust and the mutant Silver Winged Bird that belonged to Ms. Murong. There were genuine differences between these variants. For example, a normal Giant Jungle Anaconda was about 32 feet long, while this one broke the original size record five times over.

There was a sudden movement in the pond.

The pond seemed to go crazy. Gao Peng watched from the sidelines as one after another, round heads appeared.

There were big and small heads. They were transparent, with black green "fillings," like crystal dumplings filled with bean paste.

Tadpoles? Gao Peng guessed in his mind, His guess was confirmed in the next moment.

These round heads leaped from the pond all at the same time, with rope-like tails stemming from their behinds. They escaped from the pond as if their butts were on fire, tails swinging left and right.

From afar, the pot of crystal dumplings became like goblins trying to escape the pot. The sight was spectacular!

No wonder these green Green-skinned frogs managed to survive in the pond but never destroyed the balance of the ecosystem. It was from the periodical visits of this Giant Jungle Anaconda.

After swimming in the water for more than ten minutes the Giant Jungle Anaconda slid to shore, making long marks on the grass, satisfied after a hearty meal.

Being that big was a strength, but being mighty and rough was difficult. It was a truth deeply rooted in the human subconscious. Dumby was considered a higher quality monster despite the size difference, so Gao Peng would always do his best to prevent direct conflict with such a monster.

After the disruption of the Giant Jungle Anaconda, the pond took a long time to regain its calm. Some of the Green-skinned frogs that had been hiding behind the bushes and grass, plus some of the big-headed tadpoles, leaped out with great caution a long time after the departure of the Giant Jungle Anaconda.

Just as the Green-skinned frogs started to crawl back to the pond, a black hand stretched out quietly.

The large palm covered the frogs' mouths, and five white bony fingers gripped deep into the Green-skinned frog flesh. Another hand held the frogs' behinds and lifted them away.

...

Soon after, two fat frog legs stuck in a branch baked until golden and tender over a bonfire.

Gao Peng's tore into an elastic frog leg with his teeth and sweet gravy, as well as a lemongrass aroma, emerged from it. His eyes brightened from the wonderful taste.

No wonder the Giant Jungle Anaconda always made its periodical visits. These Green-skinned frogs really tempted it with their delicious meat!

After a while, the sound of rustling leaves came from behind. Gao Peng turned around cautiously only to discover a dark shadow observing him in secret behind a large tree. It eyed the Green-skinned frog leg in his hand.

Gao Peng looked at it in detail and confirmed that it was a completely black horse.

[Monster Name]: Black Light Horse

[Monster Level]: Level 14

[Monster Grade]: Excellent

[Monster Attribute]: Dark

[Monster Weakness]: Ice

A tail that looked like a mace swung lightly behind the rear of the horse. There was no need to doubt its lethality.

Its body was pitch black. It looked like a shadow.

Gao Peng sighed in his heart to suppress his collector's habit.

I already have familiars… I already have familiars… he chanted in his head, trying to dissuade himself.

The Black Light Horse assessed Gao Peng for a moment, and when it discovered that Gao Peng noticed its presence, it smiled. A row of white teeth was exposed. Its teeth sat in rows, its mouth seeming like a sharp saw that emanated a cold ray of light.

With a low neigh, the Black Light Horse turned around and fled to the depths of the jungle.

In the short time he had turned around, Gao Peng turned back to find his frog leg gone.

Eh? Where did the other Green-skinned frog leg I left on the grill go? Which bastard was it that stole my Green-skinned frog leg?

Gao Peng sunk and glanced at Da Zi and then Dumby.

Dumby leaned on a large tree and sat with its legs open. Da Zi was sprawled on the ground, its head moving while its claws continued pushing the dried leaves on the ground. Gao Peng produced a smile.

He scolded Dumby. "Why did you steal my Green-skinned frog leg!?"

Dumby, who was staring into space, was startled. It scratched its head in confusion, as it did not fully understand what its master meant.

"You must be the one who took the Green-skinned frog legs I placed on the grill," Gao Peng said.

Dumby was stunned. I am only a skeleton! God forbid, why would you, master, suspect me, a skeleton, to steal and eat meat? it thought.

It's him, it's him! In its head, Da Zi jumped at the opportunity to start something.

Dumby, who felt wronged, made a squeaking sound.

You made a squeak just now, didn't you?

No!

You definitely did!

Da Zi kept jeering at it from the sidelines. It ate a lot, a whole lot!

Dumby suddenly stood up, walked forward two steps, and held Da Zi up. Then it started shaking Da Zi's body.

Da Zi became dizzy from all the shaking and vomited out a not-yet digested Green-skinned frog leg. It was caught in the act. Da Zi used the opportunity to fake its own death.

Gao Peng looked at Da Zi dismissively; he found that Da Zi was getting naughtier by the day. This time, he had simply borrowed Dumby's hand to punish this fellow.

Dumby suddenly walked two steps forward, pulled Da Zi and its master, and rushed forward.

Gao Peng only felt his sleeves get tight before his entire body was lifted up in the air. He saw that the giant head of a snake appeared silently at the place where he was just a moment ago. The snake's long body was hidden in the higher part of the jungle.
