No matter what, it’s a complete victory—at least for me!

In fact, what I want to talk about today is: the new book "Taobao to Cultivation" has been uploaded!

Therefore, this is not only a reflection on the completion of the book, but also a self-criticism and an advertisement for the new book.

It has been writing for so long, and to be honest, I have been reflecting on it. There are many problems in "The Record of Cultivation of the Heart", and the biggest problem is the rhythm!

Especially in the early and middle stages, this problem was more obvious. When I realized this problem, I had already opened the "East China Sea" volume, and it was hard to get back.

So when I open a new book, I will write a paragraph in the three lines under the cursor: compact, compact, as compact as possible...

The new book has reached 60,000 words. I showed the sample to my editor, Mr. Shanmao, and he said yes. We can prepare to sign the contract when "The Record of Cultivation of the Heart" is almost finished. But while writing the end of "Cultivation of the Heart", I was also repeatedly reviewing the structure and rhythm of the new book. In the end, I overturned almost all the 60,000 words and rewrote it into 40,000 words.

Bobcat Lord Chrysostom said that this version is more compact than the previous one, which makes me very happy.

When other people write online articles, they want to go big and say that they want to write 3 million or 5 million.

But I had to do the opposite and promise the editor: I won’t exceed that many words!

Therefore, the new book has formulated a detailed outline, sub-outline, general outline, sub-outline...

These outlines are not to bind the new book, but to bind myself.

Another problem with "Cultivation of the Heart" is that many friends have reported that the practice system is too outdated. No problem, let's change it. In fact, the practice system is just pasted and copied.

There will be more than one practice system in the new book, and there will even be more than one civilizational collision in time and space. The protagonist can travel back and forth between two different practice worlds.

This is actually contrary to the original intention of spiritual practice. Therefore, when I read my books, there will be a strong philistine atmosphere, and some are just dusty atmosphere, without the fairy atmosphere.

I don’t know if I can write about immortality in this life, I guess it’s...

When writing the new book, I deliberately avoided these poisonous points and tried to maximize the fun points. The protagonist is a gangster who has traveled from the real world, who is unkind but righteous.

He has three views of the real world. He is more realistic, so he is more free.

Of course, this kind of freedom is relative. In the later stage, he will still be assigned a savior mission to reflect his sense of responsibility and increase his gold content.

However, he will never work as hard as Xiao Mian!

When I was writing "Cultivation of the Heart", I felt a little sorry for Xiao Mian...

In short, the new book is a more compact world, a more colorful spiritual world, a group of people with different personalities, surrounding the protagonist, telling an interesting story.

Not too long, but not too short either.
