This is one of the supporting projects of the entire research station, which is the material warehouse. It is actually a large building printed using a lunar 3D printer. It's just that unlike the rough construction of the research station, the purpose of that building is not to store some materials, goods, equipment, etc.

Therefore, the design team covered the inner facade of the material warehouse with a layer of lunar soil up to 40 centimeters thick.
The work is only technically difficult and the risk is extremely low. The golden meteorite core, as the core target of this mission, contains inestimable scientific value. At the same time, it is also the focus of scientific research institutions in various countries, and the importance of its dangerous transportation is self-evident.
The entire sliding track is actually made of materials from the bottom of the original lunar cargo transport spacecraft lander. The small door is also made of some of the following materials. The welded combination becomes a hollow excuse. The outside of the small door is filled with insulating foam. and lunar soil, thereby achieving a thermal insulation effect.
Especially before returning to Earth and landing, if the package must be sealed, it will be very difficult to be contaminated by the earth's environment. This will slightly affect the composition analysis of the gold meteorite star core, thereby affecting the advancement of scientific research work.
As the cargo under the lander was unloaded and transferred to the material warehouse, Hu Yanjie and Zhou Xiangming's focus turned to the next important task - transporting the gold meteorite core and lunar resource samples back to Earth.
Of course, just that layer of metal film is enough. Next, a layer of low-molecular polymer material must be wrapped under the metal film to protect that layer of metal film and also weaken the entire package.
The subsequent foaming insulation material foamed due to contact with air, while the foaming material used in the gold meteorite star core package used air tubes to reverse foaming, so the process and reaction process A little more upscale.
In addition, the material warehouse is actually an earth-covered building. In order to prevent the internal temperature of the material warehouse from being too high, it is also to be able to withstand the absolute zero inside and keep warm during the hot lunar night.
And that layer of lunar soil is also made of very fluffy powdered lunar soil. On the one hand, it is of course to maintain the fluffiness of the soil covering the entire inner surface, which is more conducive to keeping warm. In addition, in order to ensure that the temperature outside the material warehouse remains relatively constant, a special cooling device is also installed outside the material warehouse, which uses electric power to cool the outside to ensure that it remains cool during the lunar night. , the temperature outside the material warehouse is too high to prevent some goods and equipment from being frozen by the high temperature.
In addition, the low-molecular polymer material does not have a certain cold insulation ability, so as to avoid the low-temperature burning caused by slow landing in the small atmosphere and its impact on the core of the gold meteorite.
As for the small doors of the entire material warehouse, they are also designed in a general way. It is actually a small horizontal sliding door that uses a lower and upper slide rail.
In fact, according to such protection standards, the material warehouse is not enough to accommodate people. It's just that it doesn't have an airlock, and the outside is not depressurized, so it can only be used to store cargo, supplies and equipment.
After installing the golden meteorite core into the landing ascent, the golden meteorite core must first be packaged. First of all, we need to use the ordinary packaging material that was shipped, which is not actually a metal film. We use that metal film to wrap the entire golden meteorite core, and then use ordinary tape to seal all the gaps under the metal film, so that The gold meteorite star core is completely wrapped outside the metal film.
