Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts
#845 - A sword
"This?"
Little Billy and the three pub patrons' reactions astonished the Death Eaters, especially Rodolphus, who never expected anyone to survive such a torrential barrage.
What saved their lives were the magical shields surrounding them, shields of extreme strength. Each only showed surface cracks after withstanding two or three spells, and some even had two or three layers of protection.
Looking at these shields, comparable to full-body Protego Charms, Rodolphus concluded that these four didn't possess the ability to cast such powerful magic themselves, and his gaze fell upon the trinkets they wore.
With their finances, they dare possess alchemical items?
Rodolphus instantly recognized the items as powerful alchemical tools. In his mind, such items were precious and rare. Since when could ordinary wizarding citizens possess such things?
This discovery gave Rodolphus a strong sense of temporal displacement, filling him with rage, like someone out of touch with society realizing they've fallen behind.
"Die, all of you! Avada Kedavra!"
Rodolphus angrily pointed his wand, firing a Killing Curse at Little Billy, the closest to him.
Death Eaters usually avoid using Unforgivable Curses or other potent dark magic in combat, as these spells are draining and affect the caster's mind.
But Rodolphus was truly enraged. These insignificant characters he once could manipulate at will now dared to defy him and succeeded. It was unacceptable.
So even with the cost of the Killing Curse, he had to act. With the shields' strength and the Death Eaters' condition, another volley might not harm them. Only the Avada Kedavra, ignoring magical defenses, could restore the Death Eaters' prestige!
Little Billy and the others were terrified by Rodolphus's sudden Killing Curse. They were previously pleased with their Silver Shimmer Charms.
Now they faced such a thunderous blow. How could they withstand it?
They weren't trained Aurors and couldn't handle such situations. Their minds went blank.
But in this critical moment, a silver lightning bolt appeared from nowhere, striking the Killing Curse like a meteor and deflecting it violently.
As the light faded, they saw a young wizard in dark robes, wielding a silver longsword. He had deflected Rodolphus's Killing Curse with his sword.
The sudden appearance startled both the Death Eaters and Rodolphus. The magic he displayed was incredibly fast, but didn't resemble Apparition.
They treated this stranger with caution, on high alert.
"Mr. Wilson!"
Unlike the bewildered Death Eaters, Little Billy and his friends recognized Anduin and shouted excitedly.
Across from them, Umbridge, held hostage by Bellatrix, stared wide-eyed. Cursed to silence, she would have shouted for help, despite her dislike of Anduin.
But Anduin ignored Umbridge, as if she were invisible, and quickly told the four behind him, "Retreat to safety. I'll handle this. Aurors patrolling nearby have noticed the disturbance and will arrive soon. Stay in magical communication!"
Anduin wasn't lying. He knew through the system that Scrimgeour's Auror team was aware of the situation.
This was why Anduin hurried. If the Aurors arrived in time and used 'Anti-Apparition Jammers,' the Death Eaters couldn't escape, which contradicted his plan.
"Yes, thank you, Mr. Wilson!" Little Billy and his friends were relieved. They seemed brave but were terrified by Rodolphus's brutality. Escaping to safety was ideal.
They turned and retreated through the hole, and the Death Eaters didn't stop them, sensing the young wizard was a formidable opponent who could easily deflect the Killing Curse.
Rodolphus frowned upon hearing them address the newcomer. He sneered, "Wilson? Are you Anduin Wilson? The alchemist who supposedly captured the Dark Lord?"
"Kill him, kill the blasphemer!" Bellatrix was more agitated than Rodolphus. Anything related to Voldemort excited her.

Anduin ignored their questions and provocations, focused on driving them away.
'There are 19 people, excluding Umbridge. Where did the extra one come from? The information was wrong…'
Anduin scanned the crowd, muttering to himself.
'Never mind. Time is short. I must drive them away. If the Aurors arrive, they won't escape. So… I'll be ruthless. 19 is too many.'
Anduin decided how to deal with the Death Eaters and charged forward with his sword.
Rodolphus and the Death Eaters didn't expect Anduin to attack without a word. They usually did that. Wasn't Anduin on Dumbledore's side? Why was he breaking the rules?
But they didn't have time to think. Facing Anduin's sudden attack, they reacted quickly, launching a volley of spells.
They cast dark magic, curses, and hexes, including several Killing Curses.
Anduin didn't slow down, accelerating and deflecting spells with his sword, wrapped in silver lightning, charging into the group.
The distance was short, and the Death Eaters only managed one volley.
They were caught off guard by Anduin's all-in fighting style. They'd never seen anyone fight like that, usually keeping their distance, using wands, and showing off their spellcasting skills. No wizard charged in with a sword!
This attack was incredibly intimidating. Seeing someone covered in lightning charge at you was unnerving.
The Death Eaters scattered, diving and rolling to avoid him.
Rodolphus, at the front, was in an awkward position, with little time to react.
But he maintained the composure of a seasoned warrior. If he couldn't dodge, he'd block. He had a wand.
He raised his wand, creating five layered Protego shields, feeling smug.
Truly, after Azkaban, I'm still in good shape!
But Rodolphus's smile vanished.
Anduin didn't hesitate against Rodolphus, heavily shielded by Protego Charms, and slashed horizontally.
Rodolphus watched his five magical shields shatter like butter under a hot knife, and before he could react, he was beheaded.
So… smooth…
As Anduin passed, Rodolphus didn't think of his decades-long Death Eater career or Voldemort, whom he wouldn't see again. He only saw the cold light that sliced his neck.
After killing Rodolphus, Anduin didn't stop, charging into the crowd, piercing through the Death Eaters.
A second later, they saw a flash of lightning. It was too fast. When they regained their senses, they were horrified.
Six Death Eaters, including Rodolphus, lay scattered on the ground where Anduin had passed.
Their deaths were gruesome, beheaded, bisected, or slashed from neck to ribs.
Anyone touched by Anduin was left in pieces!
One Death Eater, unable to dodge, had his hand severed and lay screaming in agony.
The Death Eaters were terrified. They couldn't believe so many comrades had died so quickly, including their leader, Rodolphus.
