Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts

#727 - Stronghold War (asking for monthly ticket recommendation ticket)

“Do you even realize what you're doing right now? Openly attacking a Hogwarts professor! When I get out of here, I'm deducting 100 points from each of you!”

Surrounded by Ron, Harry, and Neville on three sides, Snape's mind was filled with question marks, and his heart was bursting with anger. These little brats actually dared to attack him.

To be honest, he was tempted to just knock these little wizards down right then and there, but he quickly calmed down. After all, he was a professor, and Harry was among them.

So, faced with their sudden attack, Snape had no choice but to cast a few 'Impedimenta' spells to hold them back.

Faced with Snape's Impediment Curse, the young wizards grabbed their weapons and hacked away, shouting fiercely.

“Don't think we don't know what you're up to! You're trying to steal the Sorcerer's Stone from Professor Wilson, right? We won't let you succeed!” Ron swung his great axe, splitting a gap in the barrier, his words full of triumph.

“What? Me, steal the Sorcerer's Stone? Do you all have Flobberworm eggs for brains?”

Snape didn't know where these kids had heard about the Sorcerer's Stone, but he knew there must have been some kind of misunderstanding, so he quickly defended himself.

“The one who wants to steal the Sorcerer's Stone is Quirrell! And he's associated with the Death Eaters now! Don't waste time here, quickly find a place to hide and wait for me to handle things!”

“Professor Quirrell?”

Harry and the others looked disbelievingly at Snape. How could that sickly, stuttering professor be a bad guy, let alone a Death Eater?

“Still trying to weasel your way out of it? You tried to kill Harry before! You were casting a spell on him during the Quidditch match! We all saw it! If I hadn't set your robes on fire, Harry might have been dead already!” Hermione, standing behind the others, cast spells with her wand while vehemently scolding him.

“You suspect me because of that? You're all a bunch of fools! Don't you think if a Potions professor wanted to kill someone, I'd choose such a stupid method? Why not just poison them? With my abilities, I can concoct the most delicious poisons.”

“Besides, what time would I choose other than the Quidditch match to cast a curse? I noticed someone was causing trouble on the field and specifically cast a counter-curse. Otherwise, do you think Harry could have held onto his broom under my spell?”

Snape angrily berated them, glaring at Hermione with an unpleasant expression. He had been wondering why his robes had caught fire for no reason; it was this little brat who did it.

Hearing Snape's explanation, the others couldn't help but feel a little doubtful, because what he said made sense. Snape had made them drink their own potions in class, and poisoning them seemed more like something he would do.

But this alone wasn't enough to convince them. Harry stared intently at Snape.

“Then why were you sneaking around here before? You were stopped by the three-headed dog and were even scratched, weren't you? I saw it! And I heard you mention being injured by the three-headed dog to Filch!”

“You're just as brainless as your idiotic father! I came in to investigate to prevent someone from sneaking in, and if I really had ulterior motives, why would I casually tell Filch about it?”

“Besides, you probably don't know, I've known about this place being turned into a dungeon for a long time. I even helped Dumbledore make a lot of potions for it. If you have any potions you got from here, check the bottom of the bottle. It has my exclusive mark on it.”

Harry was furious at Snape's insult to his father, but the reason in his mind told him that there was something strange about this.

Thinking this, he specifically glanced at Hermione, who immediately understood and took out a bottle of nourishing potion from her pocket. Sure enough, she saw two capital letters 'SS' on the bottom of the bottle, the initials of Severus Snape.

Seeing Hermione nod, Harry, Ron, and Neville involuntarily stopped their attacks, carefully confronting Snape.

The quartet wouldn't believe Snape just based on his words. The main reason was that, besides his explanation, they had also noticed some puzzling things.

First of all, Harry and his friends had gone through many hardships to get here. So when they saw Snape, they expected a fierce battle, after all, he was an adult wizard.

But after Snape saw them, although he spoke rudely, he didn't actively attack them. Until now, he had only used a few Impediment Curses and Shield Charms to defend himself.

This even made the quartet, who had become accustomed to fighting, feel a little uncomfortable. This was the source of their sense of disharmony.

Based on their understanding of Snape, his personality was so bad usually, that after discovering that they had exposed his conspiracy, he wouldn't waste words with them, not to mention that he had tried to kill Harry during the Quidditch match. Now that he had such a good opportunity, he wouldn't miss it.

So the few of them were hesitant. They reviewed Snape's logic and found that he didn't seem to be here to steal the Sorcerer's Stone.

But to directly acknowledge that this guy who always targeted them and had a deadpan face was a good person was something the few of them couldn't do.

However, even though they had stopped, Snape still hadn't attacked them, which made them even more hesitant. Could it be that what this guy said was true? Was that unremarkable Quirrell the bad guy?

Just as the few of them were hesitating, the scene suddenly changed.

Right in front of everyone's eyes, two faint blue magical glows lit up on Harry and Snape, then three points of light suddenly shot out from them. If you looked closely, you could barely recognize that they were a few pages of a book.

Harry touched his body and found that the two Revelation Scriptures he had been keeping had disappeared. Obviously, the few points of light flying into the air were the three scattered pages.

At the same time, a prompt suddenly sounded in everyone's ears.

“Three Revelation Scriptures have been in the same location for more than 5 minutes. The fusion ceremony will now begin. The process will take 10 minutes. The base defense battle will now begin. All survivors, please ensure the smooth fusion of the Exorcism Book!”

“Crap, I didn't expect the Revelation Scriptures to automatically fuse if they stayed close together for more than five minutes. We're probably about to start the second stage!” Hermione said anxiously after hearing the prompt.

There was still Snape, whose position was unclear, and now the base defense battle had suddenly begun. It was simply a double whammy.

Although Snape didn't know what the so-called Revelation Scripture and Exorcism Book were, he clearly sensed the malice that was constantly appearing around him.

“It's not safe here, quickly get behind me!” Snape shouted anxiously at the four of them, then grabbed his wand and carefully guarded his surroundings.

As a professor at Hogwarts, no matter how much he disliked these little brats, he had to prioritize their safety.

Seeing Snape's performance, Harry and the others temporarily put aside their plans to be enemies with him.

Of course, they didn't listen to Snape and hide behind him, but quickly gathered around the campfire, raising the weapons in their hands and preparing for battle.

Just as the few of them got into a fighting stance, seven or eight space gates appeared around them at the same time, and ten humanoid or wolf-like Demon Servants rushed out, roaring as they pounced on the few of them.

“Hermione! Don't rush to use Purifying Flash, watch out for elite units! Neville! Summon Jason!” Harry shouted immediately after briefly assessing the situation.

Although this was only the second stage of the Despair Town dungeon mission, it was the penultimate battle. The next third and fourth stages would appear one after another.

So there was no need to hold back on summoning Jason. As the saying goes, the earlier you use it, the earlier the cooldown. These enemies were probably not the entire attacking force.

“Understood!” Neville nodded decisively after hearing this, and then took out Jason's mask and began to activate it.

After a while, a ferocious and burly man wielding a chainsaw appeared out of thin air next to Neville.

However, this suddenly appearing behemoth startled Snape, and he instinctively prepared to cast a spell on it. But seeing that Harry and the others didn't seem surprised by this guy's appearance, he suppressed his doubts.

What a strange and inexplicable place. Not only were the enemies disgusting, but these little brats were the same.

Snape cursed inwardly, then vented all the frustration in his heart on those Demon Servants.

“Sectumsempra!”

The invisible and intangible Sectumsempra was like a scythe, shooting out from Snape's wand at a speed beyond the limits of human reaction, constantly rushing towards those Demon Servants who tried to offend him.

Many Demon Servants didn't even have time to dodge before being cut into pieces by the Sectumsempra curse. For a time, the enemies in Snape's direction were harvested in large numbers like straw.

After discovering that the magic Snape used was so sharp, Harry and the others all felt a chill down their backs.

Good heavens, this unwashed old bat was so fierce?

But now they had basically confirmed one thing, that Snape should not be a bad person, otherwise, he only needed to cast a few such spells on them just now, and the few of them would probably be separated from their bodies.

Due to Snape's great power, which almost single-handedly held off half of the enemies, the battle for Harry and the others seemed much easier.

Hermione constantly cast restraining spells, Petrificus Totalus, and Impediment Curses to control the enemies in the front.

Harry, Ron, and Neville drew their swords and charged forward, plunging into the demon horde in a burst of slaughter.

Among them, Neville was the most ferocious, basically solving an enemy with one or two swords. Harry and Ron were not bad either, and they handled it with ease.

As for the summoned Jason, he turned into a human-shaped harvester, starting the chainsaw and rushing out. He didn't play any tricks with you, he just crashed into the enemy with the chainsaw.

Along the way, people were either knocked over, or cut into pieces by the chainsaw.

Although Snape killed the most enemies, the loudest person on the scene was probably Jason.

On the other side, Snape couldn't help but look at the quartet with admiration after seeing their performance. He knew very well the weight of these enemies.

Although in his eyes these Demon Servants were just a bunch of ugly small fry, their individual strength had already surpassed that of a normal first-year wizard. He didn't expect these little brats to handle it so easily.

Therefore, Snape also calmed down a little. He was a little worried that these young wizards would be injured.

However, enemies were still constantly emerging from the scene, with a space crack appearing almost every second or two.

Those Demon Servants were like they didn't cost any money, rushing towards everyone one after another.

If there were only Harry and the others on the scene, they probably wouldn't be able to hold on, but fortunately, Snape and Jason were there to share the pressure, so the few of them were still handling it relatively easily.

Just when there was only half of the base defense time left, the frequency of space cracks suddenly decreased for some reason.

Harry and the others' hearts sank when they saw this. They wouldn't think that the enemies had been beaten to death. Probably more dangerous enemies would appear next.

Sure enough!

With the Revelation Scripture floating in the air as the center, three different directions around them simultaneously emerged with space cracks that were even more scarlet and huge.

Then, three humanoid monsters that were different from the other Demon Servants appeared from them.

One of them had his face covered in oil paint, wearing a baggy, comical suit, revealing a strange smile. The big-headed clown hopped around, sometimes standing upright, sometimes crawling on the ground like an animal, and scanning everyone back and forth with malicious eyes. The name above his head was Pennywise.

There was also a strange man in a top hat with wrinkled skin all over his body, as if he had been cruelly burned. All ten fingers of his hands were blades. He had a cruel and hideous strange smile on his face, and constantly rubbed the sharp knives on his fingers, revealing an unpleasant and harsh metallic friction sound. The name above his head was Freddy.

Finally, there was a strong man who was even more burly than Jason. From the exposed skin, he seemed to be a monster forcibly pieced together with remnants. His face and hands were covered with stitches, and he couldn't see a trace of expression in his eyes. The name displayed was Frankenstein.

“Are you kidding me, three elite monsters at once?” Harry looked at the three enemies with a grim expression. He knew that each of these guys was probably a powerful enemy no weaker than Jason.

They had struggled so hard to deal with one Jason before, and now that three of them had appeared at the same time, a thick cloud of sorrow weighed on the quartet's hearts.

However, Snape didn't have any psychological burden. He didn't even think that these ugly monsters were any different from the other small fry, and even took the lead in launching an attack on the Frankenstein on the opposite side.
