On May 4th, 1919, a group of patriotic young people took to the streets, shouting for the unequal treatment China received, and the Peace Conference in Paris became a dining table for imperialism to divide up interests, April 30, 1919 The Treaty of Versailles was signed, and the unequal treaty transferred Germany's rights in Shandong to Japan. In the Paris Peace Conference, the Chinese government's diplomatic failure directly aroused strong dissatisfaction among the Chinese people.

On May 4th, young students launched a student movement to resist the unequal treaties of imperialism. The masses, citizens, business people and other middle and lower classes responded one after another. The beginning of the democratic revolution, under such strong pressure, the Chinese representative did not attend the signing ceremony of the Paris Peace Conference.

Today, China has become a powerful country. As a contemporary youth, we must not forget the May 4th spirit, which is the unyielding and shouting of young people. History should not be forgotten, remember history, and never forget national humiliation! Forge ahead!
